Super wide variety Chinese/Asian menu, friendly efficient fast service, excellent food. The staff constantly walked the restaurant floor to ensure responsive service. Right opposite King's Cross station.

Staying local for an early Eurostar and just popped in without booking. Couple plus 3 teenagers who eat chinese food regularly. It was lovely, fresh and hot. We were stuffed and the staff were friendly too. Pleased we stumbled across it and went in. Would return.

We would have to say this was the best Chinese food we have ever eaten, and at 67 years of age, we've had quite a few to judge from. I'm just sorry we're only on London another few days, and we'll only be able to manage one more meal before we leave. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, the staff friendly and quite funny, enjoying a joke with us, which we loved. We can't wait to go back tonight to sample even more of their extensive menu. We thoroughly recommend you give them a try - you won't regret it and will find yourself wanting to go back for more, just like us.

Ate here twice --- food really vibrant and good range of choice -- spicy, certainly. Service is slightly quirky but fast and frenetic. Busy but always seems to manage. Excellent price so long as you do not order one of everything! Lively.

Absolute slop. We ordered 4 meals in all... Two of which were Pad Thai.... The worst Pad Thai we've ever had. The staff were friendly but the food absolutely dire.

The place was quite packed during dinner time, probably because of its location right across King's Cross station, because we thought that the food was not that good. We ordered mixed vegetable soup, seafood fried rice and pad thai noodles. Food was quite bland and the portions were really small for the price we paid.

Called in on spec on Sunday night due to proximity to our hotel after a long day touring the city. Pleasantly surprised at the prompt service and the quality of food. We shared the chicken and sweetcorn soup as it was plentiful and the crispy duck is shredded at your table which we hadn’t seen for a while. The wine was also of a good quality. Excellent lamb dish in ginger and spring onion shared with chicken satay with peanuts and coconut. Service charge is added but would have tipped generously as a very enjoyable meal. The waiting staff are quick but have a really dry sense of humour adding to the overall experience. Definitely on our will return list.

Went for quick bite after long journey for relative who arrived at Kings Cross. We were sat the front of restaurant, door wide open on a hot day with traffic going by wasn't great. Didn't give us option to sit inside, then after a few minutes waiter came and said "are you going to order" when we were in conversation which I felt was bit rude. We ordered beef noodle soup which was ok, my Singapore noodle wasn't great, too salter, bits of crunchy salt or sugar which made it worse, also went cold quick as the polluted draft from the main road added to the experience shall we say. Cost over £20 for 2 which I would expect better for that price . Won't be returning or recommending to others. Much better other options around but this was the closest so I guess it draws in the customers especially travellers.

Booked a family meal, but on arrival the member of staff had no idea of our booking. Food however was very good as was the choice on the menu. Downside is that the waiting staff are too pushy when taking your order and try to tell you what to have! Slower service, allowing time to check the extensive menu would be better as well as writing the orders duen rather than the memory game they use!

Ne vous fier pas à la déco sympa et engageante. Personnel plus qu'incorrect, nous parlant de manière quasi agressive. Plats noyés dans des sauces, sans aucune saveur. Table débarrassée à peine la dernière bouchée avalée. Au regard de la qualité, prix exorbitants. Et cerise sur le gâteau, service non compris, on vous rajoute d'office 12 % sur l''addition ! Nous n'avons pas du tout compris pourquoi cela s'est passé de cette manière: le restaurant était presque vide et nous avons été poli.e.s tout du long. N'aiment-ils pas les touristes ?! Vraiment, allez dépenser votre argent ailleurs que dans ce resto.

Your local Chinese house which had a good mixtures all different dishes. We started off with some dim sum as a shared dish. Compared to many other Chinese restaurants, these were much much smaller. Honestly it seemed like frozen take out but could have been homemade there. They do come out in the bamboo steamer 10 times the size of the dim sum. The shu mai, bbq pork bun, and the prawns one were ok. The ramen was good but nothing major to rave about. Broth was kind of bland but did the trick as it was raining outside. Singapore fried rice was good with the mixture off eggs and meat in a curry sauce. Most of the restaurants, I did notice that portions of most dishes are pretty small. Service was good but did felt kind of rush when we were trying to look at the menu.

So, me and my friends went in to this restaurant. It was open but apparently there was a sign that said it was close but due to it was not noticeable we just went straight in. We were met by this really rude member of staff telling us off that they don’t open for another 7 minutes. Surely, no need to be that rude. Although at first , we thought that he was just joking, we started moving in but after realising he wasn’t, I started questioning them if that’s the way they treat their customers. One of the staff, started mocking us by speaking our native tongue(filipino). To make it short, I retaliated and thank them sarcastically. And we all left the place. No customer should be treated that way. After all it was an honest mistake. Their loss is a gain of Five Guys across the street in which we are now enjoying our burger meal.

I ordered Dan Dan Noodle soup with minced pork for take away. When I opened it, it was all red completely different from the photo. Apparently they put the spicy sesame oil without even asking me and giving me the option to put it. I tried to remove the noodles from the soup to atleast ba able to eat something, but it was extremely spicy !!! It was a waste of food and money. Next time please show some care for customer.

London can be an expensive place to eat, even for casual dining. The Bamboo Inn is an excellent option for people who like big portions, delicious food, lots of menu options, and extremely reasonable prices. My wife and I went to this place multiple times during our recent trip to London. Great location, too. Close by the King's Cross tube station. Highly recommended.

Me and my partner had a late evening meal at this restaurant recently. We had been to the theater and didn't get there til around 9.30pm. We had 2 main meals with 2 sides and a bottle of wine. We had a lovely meal all the food was well cooked and presented.

Popped in while waiting for my train. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and accommodating to changes on the menu. Lovely food and quick service. Veggie options were as good as Iv had.

Took my Dad here for a meal. Got seated straight away. Nice atmosphere. Nice decor. Food and service was very fast. The food we had was absolutely delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to return next time I'm in the area.
