Bamboo Garden in Stafford

Over 2 hours for a basic salt & pepper box, turned up stale and no reply from the restaurant or food hub which we order through. Asked for a refund and was totally ignored. When food arrived we had rotten chicken balls and no chicken wings at advertised. Awful experience and won't be ordering from here again.

Best take away I’ve ever had! Staff are lovely and the food is amazing!! Highly recommend this place :)

Horrible people customer service is horrible spend £50 on food for him to say they knocked on our door 3 times to which they never and the food was cold dry and not even wrapped up disgusting all round! If your not happy with anything he doesn’t like it shouts down the phone!

Best Chinese in Stafford and I think I've tried most of them the estimated delivery time was spot on

Just had delivery ...So dissapointed in the lemon chicken as the new owners have changed it ( told by lady who answers the phone ) ( it was the best in the county with real chicken breast not too much batter and tangy sauce now its just low quality chicken grills with more batter than chicken ) such a shame as thats why we ordered in the past i can get good chinese food locally but usex to order from you especially for this A very dissapointed customer

Food was fantastic! Delivery lad came up 3 flights of stairs because the lift was broke even though I said I would come down to get the delivery.

Used to love Bamboo Garden but this was my first order since it has reopened. Food okay but not as good as it used to be. Maybe new owners. Quick delivery though.

The wait was a very long time . The crispy beef wasn’t very nice . Sizes are a little small compare to other Chinese around this area.

BBQ spare ribs are lovely, also the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style is lovely as always but the vegetable spring rolls are different to what they normally are. The spring rolls are soft and not crispy. Please go back to your previous way of preparing them as they were much better!

I have now started to use Bamboo Garden on a regular basis. The food so far has been excellent. The quality and quantity has been consistently of a very high standard.

Pork yuk sung was dry and chicken in black bean sauce really salty.

My order was great other than the spring rolls. They are greasy and burnt. Inedible.

I found the food was really bland tasting, the sweet sour sauce was very artificial and weak tasting, satay sauce was just like gravy. Chow Main was flavourless but meat cooked well, but again sauce was like english gravy. Special sweet sour tasted bland. Over all very disappointed. Will not be ordering from here again.

Really lovely food and we collected the staff/owners were lovely 😊 the only reason for 4 not 5 stars is because there could have been more veg in the spring rolls! 😆 but gorgeous food - had the mushroom curry, veg chow mien, salt and pepper chips, and garlic egg fried rice. New favourite Chinese!

Excellent as always. This is my favourite Chinese takeaway in Stafford. Have tried others but never as good as Bamboo Garden

Pancake roll inedible, duck dry, sauces very watery and bland. Had to throw the majority away.

Delivery was estimated at 1 hour 30 minutes (which I would expect for a Saturday night) for delivery but took just under 2 hours to arrive (25 minutes late). The curry was lovely however spring rolls were soggy and greasy and pretty inedible which was a shame. Can't comment on resturant service as it was delivery however have to provide a rating to submit the review.

Food was hot and fresh. Meat was beautifully cooked melts In the mouth. 10/10 would have again. Recommend the chef recommended wonderful dragon!

The food is delicious., especially the crispy shredded beef and chow mein. This is the second time I’ve ordered from here recently. Both times I’ve ordered BBQ spare ribs but been given ribs in honey and lemon. The honey and lemon ones are delicious , it’s just a bit annoying as both times I’ve ordered BBQ. It would also make a difference to get free prawn crackers, like lots of other take always do. I always find it disappointing to order a Chinese , especially spending £23, and not get free prawn crackers. It costs a few pence to make them and is always a lovely touch when you get a free bag. Over all a great meal, just a few ideas on how to improve.

Delivery took two hours to be completed. Rang the restaurant three times and told it would be five minutes each time (ring over a 30min period)

Disgraceful 2hlf hours late then he left the food on doorstep no apology nothing, never use them again...

Great selection and some very spicy dishes which I like. Always well cooked. Not the quickest delivery service but they usually deliver within the timescale. I have had takeaway from a lot of Chinese and this is one of the very best.

Portion sizes are very small. Tasted okay but not the best. Arrived late even when I called up to confirm it would arrive in an hour as I would've cancelled if they told me I had to wait an hour and a half. Average in my opinion

The food was enjoyable and came in good time. However, I found a chunk of plastic in a mouthful of food, which was the bamboo special egg fried rice and the chicken chow mein. I rang the restaurant and they only replaced the chow mein.

Food was awful, rice tasted off and the rest of the food had baokutelt no taste, it was so bland

We ordered Yuk Sung but it was so salty as to be inedible. The 2 main dishes were Chow Mein - both cool, almost room temperature and dry. Really poor for £20. We binned 80% of the meal and made a cheese sandwich.

Food quality was terrible cold chips.... rubbery too only got half a bag ( kids portion ) ... ordered Singapore chow main without prawns still came with prawns ... both sets of ribs ordered where overcooked paid extra to have them I. Sauce I wouldn’t bother you get about a spoon full of sauce TERRIBLE FOOD !!
