Fuimos hoy. Simplemente no vayas aquí.

. . Bien hecho Báltico y gracias 😊

Sandwich description was great - except my tuna sandwich had none of the delicious ingredients on the menu Taste of brine which needed draining off overpowered everything though couldn’t see anything other than a few bits of cucumber & lettuce They forgot half our order The floor is dirty I asked for a cloth to wipe our sticky table - she gave me a filthy cloth so I used tissues and sanitiser Honestly wake up!!! Read your reviews Definitely won’t go again

Awful Service Visited here with my son and family before travelling back to London after visiting me for the weekend. They have travelled over the world eating a Michelin starred restaurants. I recommended going here as the pastries and bread are supposed to be lovely. My 5 year old and 17month old waited for over 20mins for a cold pain au chocolat and croissant respectively after being asked if the kids order could be brought to our table as they were getting agitated. The lady serving brought their order after about 5 mins and practically threw the plates on the table making a very sarcastic remake and clearly annoyed. I would definitely not recommend taking children here . Very embarrassing for me and am sure they will reiterate their treatment elsewhere

We came to pick up a sandwich at the end of January and really enjoyed it. However, we got exactly the same order today, one Reuben and one aubergine sandwich, and were entirely disappointed. The prices have gone up and the quality and quantity have gone down. The amount of filling was less than half than before (only one slice of aubergine in the sandwich?), the pastrami was mostly fat and the bread didn’t taste fresh. For nearly £7 per sandwich it was not worth it, and we won’t be going back.

The Baltic Bakehouse on Allerton Road, Liverpool is an independent bakery serving an assortment of bread, cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and pizza. As a bakery, the bread is crusty, springs back when pressed, has a flavour to it and most importantly is enjoyable to eat. Outwardly, all seems fine but dare to ask the staff to cut your bread and they too spring back when pressed with the bizarre claim, “we don’t do that.” Words most British people in their 30s and 40s will think of the comedy duo Trevor and Simon, famed for catchphrases like “we don’t do duvets” and for making pop stars look silly on Saturday morning TV. Unlike this harmless nostalgic comedy, the staff of the Baltic Bakehouse seem genuinely hostile to the request and even aggressive. Followed up with “we cannot give you a knife, because of health and safety”, and “…if we cut the bread, we’ll have to do it for everyone.” It was truly weird, as one would think that cutting bread is precisely the expertise required to be a baker, is it not? Serving customers in a hospitable and obliging manner might also be another requirement for any successful catering business on the high street. Perhaps, I am being unfair, as the staff, after careful negotiations and the threat of a screaming toddler, relented and cut the bread, crisis averted!

Don't really understand what the ethos is here its so hit and miss, one day the food is great the staff are are really attentive the next time it's crap if open or closed when should be open, it runs out of everything all the time, basically I think it's got a great formula but they don't give a toss. Balanced and honest view i think

The food, coffee, bread etc is great but they seem to hate customers. I've given them three chances and found the atmosphere horrible and the staff extremely unhappy to be there. After spending 10+ on a few coffees would hope better but wont be going back anyway.

The inside is done to a really nice standard, clean and simple. I ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza which came on a really nice cutboard with a pizza slicer. The pizza was simple a home made sourdough base with BBQ marinated chicken pieces and cheese. Tasted absolutley divine, 10/10 for the Pizaa. We also got a garlic bread with cheese on the side, really nice and not over powering. Ice cream doughnut for desert with toppings and I chose the salted caramelsauce, an absolute treat to finish this really nice meal. Enjoyed the experience from start to finish.

Love the sausage and tomato on sourdough toast. Very tasty indeed. Tall guy on the counter doesn't seem very fast at all though and doesn't seem to move much or want to please customers either. Waited longer for my coffee than my food. Only 4 tables taken. he wasn't busy he was standing there looking down while other staff were rushing about. Not a good look. Maybe takeout would be best for my next visit.

Got to be the best sourdough bread sausage sandwich in Liverpool or possibly the UK ...if you like premium quality ingredients give this place a try. It is a small cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. It’s not McDonalds so there is usually a 20 minute wait to from ordering to getting your food.

I don’t think the guy behind the till has seen a hard days work in his life. Apparently he is the manager. I have witnessed him and his staff over a half an hour period walk past and stare at tables that need cleaning. Full of used plates, cups and glasses. But would rather have a chat behind the counter. On top of this I have seen cleaner floors in the back streets of Thailand. Trust me that’s pretty bad. Such a shame as the food is half decent. I wonder if the owner of the business knows how their business in ran when they are not there.

I’ve visited Baltic Bakehouse Allerton rd twice, and have been disappointed on both occasions. The first was for breakfast - service was very slow and there was little space but it was very busy and I thought that excused the wait. This time, I went at 3pm for a sandwich, there were only 4 on the menu and we still waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive, only for my order to be wrong which meant I could not eat it. There were only two other tables of people in, one of whom had already eaten, so I think waiting so long for a chicken sandwich and bacon sandwich is inexcusable. The tables are so tightly packed together that it feels very cramped even when quiet. I’m 7 months pregnant and after squashing into my table, was told to get my own cutlery from the table at the back, a system which must surely cause chaos during busier times. Finally, I appreciate that Baltic bakehouse is dog friendly, however there was a large dog who was not on a lead wondering between tables which I find to be incredibly inconsiderate to other guests.

Horrible experience today as I left this cafe/shop. The floor mat skidded from under my feet and I landed flat on my back. Minimal interest from manager although customers came to my assistance. No accident book (apparently not required for businesses employing fewer than 10)....

Pub and bar hopping around this part of the city on a rather cold November night my twin brother and I decided to drop by The Fall Well Pub,been here before on many occasions, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit to here. A big Wetherspoon pub, interior is superb, a long serving bar dominates the main room, typical Wetherspoon decor and furnishings, photo's of old Liverpool adorning the walls and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling shopping streets around this pub, its just a really good Wetherspoon pub to chill out in. We had a study of their real ale's, in the end we both opted to have Coach House Brewery " tnt cracker barrel " this dark real ale was served in pristine condition, we luckily managed to get a table were we chilled out and warmed up while we sipped our ale's. My ale was really good, dark, malty, full of flavours, a proper winter ale indeed, its hardly surprising to me why this Wetherspoon pub is so popular with real ale's of this quality. We really enjoyed our ale's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Fall Well Pub we had a great pub experience. The Fall Well Pub is easy to locate along St John's Way. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 8am till 11.30pm. Friday & Saturday, 8am till midnight. Sunday, 8am till 11.30pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
