Balti No. 1 in Hinckley and Bosworth

The food from this takeaway is always brilliant! You can see into the kitchens and watch the chefs prepare the food. The Kichen is clean and the food is always cooked from fresh but the wait is definitely worth it!Without exception any friends we have visiting from all around the uk always ask if we can order a takeaway from Balti number 1 because they also love the food

Have been a regular customer for years but the takeaway last night was truly awful. The onion bhaji was the size of a squashed apricot nothing like the delicious and large portions of the past. The curry had no sparkle at all. There was an overcharge AND the prices have gone up. Within an hour of eating I felt distinctly ill. Won't be returning and by the quietness of the takeaway many more have found the same .

Fantastic food. Really good sized portions. I don’t mind waiting longer for food as it is most definitely made fresh to order. Excellent

Used this place due to the close proximity to where we stayed. We where told it would be 45 minutes for a take away and even managed to for get a dish and even though there was over £60 of food orders it was just not very good. Sub standard at best and when challenged about the missing dish they tried to explain that it was our error. Would not recommend as dishes are very plain. We shall be going further to another place we know the food is much better. Local place taking advantage of there loyal customers.

For purely a Takeaway service, Balti No.1 is generally very good. You can collect for a discount but when your old and lazy its ideal for local delivery and very happy with the quality of food.

Been coming to this takeaway for over 15 years and although I’ve tried other Indian takeaways in that time I always end up coming back to the Balti No. 1. Not only is the food always on point but the service is super friendly and efficient too. Highly recommend.

He probado otros PERO ME india comprada este fue el mejor. Siempre he tenido mi entrega dentro de la hora, incluso un viernes o sábado por la noche, normalmente en orden 5. 30 tan pronto como se abren (prefiero comer temprano por la noche).No me puedo quejar de la comida, no come carne pero los platos de gambas son incomparables junto con el naan de ajo y arroz frito con ajo. Sus precios son muy competitivos y la calidad de la comida es excelente. Siempre me han entregado mi pedido y está siempre caliente.Yo recomendaría este para llevar sobre las comidas siempre he seleccionado.

Pollo Balti n hongos por favor, un poco más picante de lo normal.Grandes trozos de pechuga de pollo al curry sabrosa salsa encantador recién preparado y un cálido nan pan gigante suaveque he tenido uno de estos cada 3 semanas desde que estaban abiertas (10 años? ) y su excelente! Having recently moved to the area, we have now tried this take away several times and are yet to be dissapointed. Several different dishes tried from the menu, and all of them are very well cooked.

I think this place delivers excellent food and it is far superior to many Indian take always we have tried before. It takes a little while to get the food, but this is because it is fresh and it's definitely worth waiting for.

The food was great and it was hot the staff were very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend you order from here and enjoy a well deserved meal for the weekend or on friday nights.

Very slow, left waiting 25 minutes for takeaway, expensive for the quality and not much choice. Our closest takeaway but I'd much rather drive to the next town over for better quality.

Acabamos de nuestra casa, aunque pedimos poppadums no existen los pepinillos!! Estamos muy molestos. Ahora ir a comer el resto de la comida para llevar en el mango-menos la tristeza.

Este es uno de los mejores sitios indios que he visto, y mejor que los restaurantes no llevar la mayoría. La comida es siempre bueno y generoso en sus proporciones, con cambios sutiles a platos repetidas - no hay nada aburrido o repetitiva aquí. Para un pueblo del tamaño de Markfield es una gran ventaja!

Cuando nos visite mis novios los padres que viven en copto roble, nos gusta ir aquí o el Flying Horse para comida india - Este lugar sólo para llevar pero es realmente lindo! Y una buena relación calidad-precio, con grandes porciones!

This is our favorite, every week Friday night is curry night and always from Balti N1. The service is fine, whatever the time they say we can collect, it's always ready and warm. I love chicken hashina and the onion bajii.

This takeaway serves reliably fantastic curries, with an extensive menu across which is authentic flavours and incredible sides. Meat always of very high quality, not overly greasy at all. Don't order from Balti No.1 without getting the onion bhajis. Never change, Balti!!

had several takeaways and always been very good but having the first delivery tonight and food took an hour and a half to arrive. When it finally got here was luke warm, had items missing and wrong items sent. Called to state this and they had a very bad attitude and put the phone down on me!! wont be ordering again!!!

Once you get the food it's Ok but nothing special. I've ordered food in advance to collect at say 8pm but still had to wait for nearly half an hour for it to be ready. When I complained I was told that it was cooked freshly - which is fine - so what's the point in arranging a time to collect as you may just as well order when you walk in. Having looked at some of the other reviews I'm not sure why they rave over the food. For me the place up the road which is also a restaurant have things ready on time and the quality is far superior.

The food was just delicious. We ate in the Indian restaurant a few doors up the week before and it wasn't a patch on Baltinumber 1. We're eating in from now on. Just fantastic

I used to drive a 20 mile round trip to collect what we considered to be the 'best Indian' restaurant in our area in order to get a decent Indian meal to eat at home. But now, At last, we've found a restaurant, which not only delivers free (on orders over £15.00 within a 4 mile radius), but their food is absolutely fantastic. Balti Number 1 was recommended by a friend so thought we would give it a try. When I placed the order I was told it would be delivered within the hour, and it was. It was delivered by a pleasant man, the food was piping hot and each dish was briefly labeled on the lid - CTM (Chicken tikka masala) OB (onion bhaji) etc. Good value for money , everything tasted fresh & each and ever dish was delicious - Well done Balti Number 1 - will most definitely be ordering from you again and would highly recommend to family & friends.

Not a bad takeaway and they do deliver. The food is nearly always good but they do seem to have picked up thier game, now they have some competition in the village.

A regular haunt for us on a Friday evening. Always greeted with a friendly smile and the food is delicious.
