One of the kebabs didn’t have chilli sauce on as requested and the chicken in naan the chicken was a bit over done but apart from that everything was spot on

First time ordering and last sadly. Food cold on arrival never ever had butter chicken look or taste like this before. No flavour and yellow will not be recommending

Called in to order, asked if they took card payment they said no its switched off.. I said OK and went to walk out. I was called back, and the guy said ok I will switch it back on.. I placed my order to include a mixed kebab at £7.50 and a 1/4 pounder chicken burger at £4.50 he asked for was £18... The order came to £12..when I asked for a breakdown of the cost, he told me the mixed kebab was £11 and the burger £7 I picked a menu up and checked the cost of a mixed kebab, and it states £7.50. And the burger £4.50 When questioned, he said it was extra for sauce and salad... Im looking on the menu, all kebabs come with salad and sauce..however he then told me the menu had not been updated and that it's due to inflation..load of crap!! Please check costs when ordering, especially if you call in after having a drink!!!

onion barge was so bland and contain so much flour make it a dough ball , danzak curry not worth the money £9 for such a small potion tiny amount chicken in it and taste like it was frozen boiled chicken , would never order from here again its clearly not worth the money

If you’re looking for an Italian Pizza style you might not want one from here. They are nice but the tomato base is more hot than tomato. If you’re in the mood for spice/curry style great but if you’re looking for the cheesy tomato base pizza this isn’t. Maybe you can request a tomato base without spice I’m not sure.

I have been eating Indian food for 40yrs and can confirm BALTI BAZAAR is THE BEST Indian takeaway within 20 mile of Ackworth. The best outside of Bradford and on par if not better than takeaways in Bradford too. The food is extremely tasty, smells incredible and at a reasonable price for the fantastic quality. The teambat BALTI BAZAAR cater for all your needs and requests.....jus ask and they will strive to accommodate your needs. The Chef clearly has outstanding knowledge and skills in Gastronomy. The front of house beautiful lady, Zara is polite, and extremely accurate in taking your order. Even the delivery driver delivers on time and with everything you have ordered, again, is polite and courteous. BALTI BAZAAR is the opitamy of quality from the food, customer service and on time delivery. I've ordered from BALTI BAZAAR for 16yrs. Within this time, I've tried all other Indian restaurants with the area for a change and to compare. Some nice, some not so but ALWAYS return to BALI BAZAAR because they are SIMPLY THE BEST, BETTER THAN ALL THE REST. Kebab pretty dry and very salty

Tikka masala was a bit too salty and onion bhaji’s didn’t taste fresh at all :-(

Hour and half to deliver curry bland, bread soggy and pizza no flavour and very thick undercooked dough I really don’t understand where all the positive reviews come from unless it’s AI

OK so food tuck 1 hour to deliver 1 12in and 1 16in pizza's. The 16in was more like a deep pan and the underneath was burnt so with every bit you could taste the burn.

Absolutely amazing, me and my wife have been ordering from here for over a year now and honestly it’s our go-to. We try and order at least once a week as a treat and it always impresses. The quality is spot on time after time and the people are so friendly and helpful. My wife goes for the korma every time but I have change my order to get a good sample and I have never been disappointed. The pizzas are divine, the calzones are amazing and the curry’s are nice and fresh. My top pick from here is the Mixed Roller in Naan; a mixture of shesh, kebab, red kebab and red chicken all wrapped in a fluffy Naan. If you’re wanting a sensational food experience then look no further. 11/10

Been eating food from the Balti for many years but recently they’ve stepped it up a notch with their top quality food. I highly recommend giving the Asian style pizza a go if you haven’t already. All of the staff are really friendly too and always make you feel really welcome when you visit the shop. Easily the best takeaway in the village.

I don’t usually leave reviews but on this occasion I have to. I have ordered from Balti Bazaar for many years and I have NEVER had a bad meal. I think their pizzas are the best in Ackworth and my extra spicy Asian style pizza tonight didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend this place and the staff are always polite and friendly. Lovely food and always arrives piping hot. The service here is great and everyone I've ever spoken to and met is friendly, polite and helpful. We've tried a good selection from the menu, pizza, kebabs and curries, all cooked beautifully and very tasty. Their kebab meat is the nicest around! We definitely try to order at least once a week.

Food was nice, but not as good as usual. Chips were stale. The delivery was ordered at 8:20 pm and arrived at 10:30 pm. If I'd been told it was going to be such a long wait I'd have gone elsewhere. I appreciate it's a Saturday and our order came to over £60 but there were no updates or anything until we contacted them. Disappointed really. The restaurant has offered a discount for the next time we order which is the only reason I'm giving the 3 stars.

A wonderful chicken korma so creamy and beautiful taste best I have ever had , also had the lemon rice which was light and tasty and to go with it a peshuari naan very large .

Shocking... Lamb rogan josh ordered and it was beef, I specifically asked if they did lamb and they said yes. Clearly beef is cheaper, in the hopes the customer doesn't notice. Chips are never fresh, its like they are precooked and sat waiting for orders. Curries are always full of oil. Also stop cutting pizzas in to squares, normal triangular slices is perfectly fine. I even requested to make sure the pizza is in triangles and they still sent it cut in squares 😂. Veg rogan josh clearly just threw in a frozen mixed veg pack. Anyway rant over, I've given this place too many chances. You've lost a Local customer 👍.

Placed order on Saturday night in shop for delivery for 1130 turn up at 1155 chips cold and a very small portion and curry leaking in the bag and that was warm what a waste of £11 there’s more curry in Asda curry for a lot less

Hour and half for delivery, no acknowledgement regarding delivery times... half the food piss poor to be honest. (Pizza) Poppadoms soft and saggy, a few dodgy stomachs the following day. Rushed order.... A lot of money wasted. Way over priced. Lass on the phone very apologetic, but no real delivery time quoted. Used to order regular.... was excellent.... went down hill so didnt order for a while.... and now.... Never again.

Disgusting. Ordered 1 korma 1 chips and 2 cheese garlic naans so clearly was for 2 people. Curry portion very small compared to most Indian takeaways. But fair enough. Bag of chips barely even a handful in there! Absolute robbers wouldn't bother. We are not big eaters but didn't even have half a plateful each. Get more in a microwave meal. Korma had a strange slimey texture too. Nearly £22 wasted.

Asked them for burger meal they charged me 4.80 with no drink which I didn’t bother but after opening the burger and seeing the lettuce I felt sick… just went to bin and wasted my money Definitely not recommend this takeaway to anybody

This used to be the best takeaway in Ackworth but I think they’re letting their standards slip a little. The last few times I’ve order the meal hasn’t been up to scratch. The chips were borderline cooked each of the last few occasions and the food quality has deteriorated. I will never stop ordering from here because they’re my local. I’ve had many happy times eating their food in the past and hope it can return to the quality of days gone by.

Bought a mixed Donner calzone. Not greasy and delicious.
