Balti 2000 Indian Takeaway in Birmingham

Always good food everything tastes as it should to my mind and taste not all the same but a different flavour to each dish

Chicken in my curry was pink and gave me food poisoning. I have been in hospital for a week now and I want to go home. Don’t eat chicken from here it will kill you. The chips were nice though.

Food was cold and tasteless, nann bread like rubber, I've had better casseroles, the only nice thing I had was the poppadoms. Wouldn't recommend. If there had been a bit of kick in the food I'd say it was value for the amount of food

Today I ordered online 2 dishes for me and my wife - Chicken Biryani for me, specifying that the food cannot be spicy - unfortunately I got a spice one. I tried to eat but after 2 minutes I gave up and the food ended up in the trash ! Was the food tasty? I don't know - the spiciness dominated so I couldn't taste it. It arrived with a delay of about 20 minutes, as compared to the online information that it would arrive within 20 minutes. The portions were fair and large It's just a pity that it was too spicy.

Had yet another EXCELLENT Balti vegetable curry and lamb curry delivered tonight. Thank you, wonderful flavours...

Guys Mike here been coming to your restaurant now many many years and I can honestly say nothing bad about anything you guys do food is always spot on,great staff,deliveries always on time if not early I changed up tonight and tried the new kebabs that you guys have and WOW nothing like a chip shop kebab,this was flavoursome, juicy,filling with stir fried onions and authentic spices I carnt fault it best around for me

Had meals yesterday Prawn curry-no taste to it bland Chicken tikka masala-no taste whatsoever seemed watered down Used to be ok not now!!!!

Excellent food and a great price on set meals.

Balti tasted nothing like ones have had before. Sauce was a puree and hardly any spice in it. Not an authentic Indian dish. Chicken was good. I would expect spice in a curry and this was lacking and I've eaten many many curries over time. Rice had hardly any spice .....but it was well cooked. Shame.

Great meal for a really low price. I will be calling here again for sure!

Ordered a ceylon tikka vindaloo . Without a doubt worst curry I've ever had it certainly wasn't a ceylon even tho they stuck a piece of lemon in ...chicken was inedible had a taste certainly not tikka will never ever ever order again. Avoid as there are curry houses much better around here I must admit I've had curries in the past from this place but this was absolutely abysmal never again .

This isn't a real Indian takeaway its tasteless every dish is the same ask for a byriani to be given a vegetable balti with it to add flavour there completely different dishes an both was rotten nearly £30 in the bin

Still giving 5 star as me and my husband have ordered from here for a very long time. We’ve never liked anywhere else. I’m a little disappointed tho after ordering again tonight to have no popadoms with the dips. They have always given a couple free popadoms with the mint yogurt dip and salad but they seem to have stopped it!

Love balti 2000 always willing to tailor food to how you want and always tastes good

Just had a curry for 5 people from here and most of it went in the bin the lamb was tuff and it had no flavour what’s so ever

had a balti today from there with in 2 hours i was throwing it back up not good

Chicken tikka masala is great but tried a chicken balti last night and it was awful. Hard, over cooked chicken. Totally bland sauce. The popadum was the best bit. So the lesson is don't try the balti.

I've moved into the area just over year now and have found this to be the best place for my takeaway curry once amth I've never been disappointed with my food orders . Did try two other's before very disappointed with food. Balti 2000 is the best in this area without a dout .

Phoned to complain Told it just the new menu. What appalling customer service. Just a money grabbing business with no customer service ethics what's so ever....... Don't use seriously Will be posting to my 30k followers on twitter what a joke

Best curry and balti take away in the area. I have tried a most of the others in the Rednal / Longbridge and Northfield area but kept going back to Balti 2000 as they are consistently good quality and service. I don't even bother considering anywhere else now.

Never had a bad meal here, tonight I rang them to change one of my orders, my son changed his mind and wanted a tikka main instead of curry, the tikka was cheaper but I didn't squabble, I didn't need to, they gave us LOADS of chicken tikka, I definitely didn't feel short changed ( I paid online) The food was spot on, so hot and fresh and frankly could.not fault one thing, the complimentary popadums were great, loads of delicious yoghurt sauce and fresh onion salad and do you know what? It's so much cheaper than any other curry house around here but you get just as good, even better imo

Polite staff good authentic food

Never enjoyed Indian before being persuaded into trying this place and I can't say enough good things about this place staff are always nice, great food every time and prices are more than reasonable

We were reccomended this takeaway and really enjoy the food. Vegetable biriyani from here is yummy! My other half always orders a variety of starters/meals and he's not been disappointed yet :)

Being going Balti 2000 for years. We even send Christmas cards to Mo and Mo Jnr. Best Indian takeaway in the West Midlands, impeccable customer service & top quality food. If you get the food delivered you won’t have to wait long and you will have a piping hot balti in your lap within the hour! Can not rate this place highly enough! Don’t just take my word my word for it, prove me right and give them a try.

Iv been using Balti 2000 on and off for the last 10+ years and can honestly say I have never had a bad meal from them. It's always well cooked, fresh and service/menu is great too!

Good food - never had a bad meal. Prices are reasonable. They don't always read delivery timing requirements - we've had a number of meals that have turned up 30+ minutes before we requested they arrive.
