Balchão Restaurant in Trafford

Dispite receiving a reminder text from the restaurant the day before we arrived to find the restaurant permanently closed. Didn't have the decency to advise us of the closure. If they can send out reminder texts they could have advised us of the closure and avoided a lengthy journey.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great! We let the manager pick our courses and I would highly recommend the kurbool kissed fish starter. I will definitely be returning soon! Lovely authentic food!!

We hired Balchao Restaurant to host our sons birthday party on the 31st December. The staff were attentive in our pre planning, even taking the time to video call us through the setup for the day. On the day, they were fantastic at managing our guests, serving food and drinks with no delay and most importantly - the food was delicious! Good people skills & hosting ability really makes a difference, and I have to truly say I enjoyed the experience and would not hesitate in booking again. Highly recommend.

Come for a family meal, warm welcome when we arrived, the waiter was really good with my 3 year old son making him laugh. Food was amazing! I can’t wait to come back and try other dishes. The whole family fully enjoyed everything. Will definitely be returning. Mark chloe, and lego man 🤣

We went as a family of 4 the service was good but the food took 1.5-2h to arrive which is awful but they gave free food as an apology, but what was the worst part was there was a party of 10 on the other side of the restaurant being obnoxiously loud and screaming and no one did anything about it, I couldn’t even talk across my table without shouting.

I ate hear as part of a business meeting the other week and my colleague, who was visiting for the first time thought it was first rate! I enjoyed a couple of nice starters, which I seldom eat but thoroughly enjoyed them and my Kolpori chicken (my go to main along with Coastal Balchao was superb

Myself and my husband had a date night meal here the service was great as was the restaurant itself. We really enjoyed the food we had the kurnloo kissed fish and lamb chop for starters, highly recommend ! For mains we had the prawns and the lamb, it was delicious, had we have been before I would’ve been tempted to ask for more heat in the dishes, but the flavour was impressive and I would return next time I’m in the area.
