We visited this place yesterday, I would like to commend the service of the gentleman who was working as the cashier. He was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. He was very customer focused and extremely helpful.

Great service and scrummy muffins. Always worth stopping for a 'cuppa and a sticky bun'.

We visited recently for a coffee, cake and catch up. The atmosphere was very nice, the staff were accommodating and the coffee was good. The Lemon Pistachio cake was alright, the icing on top tasted amazing, however the cake was bland, tasteless, but seemed fresh. I'd definitely visit again.

Visited Thursday afternoon 1st Feb. Lovely place. Clean and warm! Excellent, hot coffee - even the husband enjoyed it! In fact he enjoyed it so much he bought some beans to take home! And he is hard to please! The caramelised biscuit cake (I think that's what it was called) was delicious. And the staff were so lovely and friendly!!! Thank you! Yes, I would recommend a visit!👍🏻

It seems people who need gluten free breads can not have a sandwich lunch here. No gluten free sandwich options available here.

Food food good coffee & good cakes.

Called in for a drink and bite to eat, we weren't disappointed. Food was warmed up and brought to our table without having to wait too long. They need to get the dusters out, though, as the top of the seat back hadn't seen one for some time.

Pastry and food offerings quite good but expensive for what they are though coffees good.

Visited at 12.00. There was a long queue which was dealt with only slowly. The food was good when it arrived.

Muffins were as good as ever but I don't like the new decor. The plastic chairs are cheap and tacky, the decor is already looking dirty. If the muffins weren't so good I would go elsewhere.

Service was quick and lovely friendly staff. We had delicious spicy chicken baguettes which were toasted and a delicious fruit smoothie. I couldn't resist having a cinnamon muffin and cappuccino after my main which were delicious 😋 Set us up to do more shopping. Will certainly go again.

Cakes are awesome, and loads to choose from. Coffee is not bad too. I'd skip any breakfast food, Bacon or Sausage bun are so sad. I've been a few times and service always seems slow no matter how many people are in, taking 15 plus minutes to get served.

Have a variety of muffins available along with toasties, paninis, and different coffees or teas to. Recently changed the interior with furniture but no comfy chairs!! Outdoor seating avaliable, but the chairs uncomfortable as made from metal bars

Dreadful and expensive £3.60 for a hot chocolate + £0.75 for cream + £0.75 for marshmallows!

We stood in a queue for 15 mins, 4 behind the counter but 1 inadequate person serving, making drinks and taking payment. We eventually got fed up and left, you'd think on their busiest day, Saturday, they'd be better prepared, more organised, but no. We were giving them another chance because last time we went, their usually exceptional muffins, raspberry and apple, were tasteless and had no raspberry and apple in them, we won't be going back, last weekends debacle was it for us.

Used to be really nice and really generous with the filling inside the baked treats, nowadays theyre generic with the muffins being very much basic like any old muffin. Definitely not bad just lost its flare and reason to go.

Unbelievably good muffins, I’m a podgy fella nowadays, largely due to cake, so when I say these lot know how to put a muffin together you should absolutely take that as the strongest of recommendations…. The pinacolada muffin was especially cracking!!!! Can’t recommend enough.

Bad tempered staff.asked if certain muffin was vegetarian said they had no idea.. vacuuming around us .disgusting smell from vac.asked ladies on next table to plug vac in for her .said wanted to be ready to close up.yet anly 5pmwe had to check on there website to see if muffin was suitable for vegetarian . Bad service

The coffee I chose was an oat latte and member of staff said they couldn’t froth it because oat milk doesn’t froth !!!! No one else has said that to me and my oat lattes are frothed always, the toastie was very nice however the cost was ASTRONOMICAL £17* for two ham and cheese toastie a, 1 hot chocolate and 1 oat latte and 1 bag of crisps - absolutely shocking I thought I’d misheard. Went to wolsingham and had two lattes and a piece of cake and paid £8 even if we’d added two toastie it wouldn’t have cost us ££17 . Will not be frequenting BBS again - honestly there’s recovery and then there’s daylight robbery

Disgusting Went in for two coffee and two cheese scones and was told never had cheese scones for a long time and can't get them anywhere. Sat at table and drank what was a poor excuse for coffee The tables were dirty never been cleaned as was the floor under the table and don't get me started on the filthy dirty spoons don't think I will be back there.

Very quick service, good coffee, and the vegan raspberry and apple muffin had a lovely texture and was very tasty. There was a very relaxed atmosphere and, even though it was busy, it was easy to have a conversation with the people around me.

Terrible . The minestrone soup was without any liquid . It was thicker than a stew and was only about 3 spoonfuls in a dish.The staff said that was what it was supposed to look like.very unfriendly and the place looked a mess there were no tables cleared to sit down anyway even if we had decided on something else to eat
