I couldn’t resist going into bakehaus on a Saturday afternoon. It looked like one of these cute bakeries I went to in cologne. Great options on the menu, I was just stopping in quickly and grabbed a slice of pizza but I must say the hot dogs I saw looked amazing! The pizza slice was £4 and was pretty good. Service was great. Definitely recommend for lunch in the area.

My friend and I ordered a vegan hot dog, we changed a lot of options and Natalija was very kind, she really impressed me, I hope you will continue to take on employees like that because they make a difference

Entre octubre de 2019 y enero de 2020, me encontré trabajando en Hammersmith en un trabajo que odiaba. La carga de trabajo era completamente inmanejable, por lo que todos los días en la oficina eran frenéticos. Walking down King St, thinking about getting the Tube to VX in Kings cross for a Hot dog, my eyes happened accross the words Vegan in the Window of Bakehaus. To cut a long story short, I discovered VX are now shut on a Sunday so decided to risk the Bakehaus Hotdogs, to my surprise the sausage came in a crusty piece of what I can best describe as a baguette or French stick, covered in onions, pickles and relish (the classic), it was the best hotdog I have had for a long time and I would definitely go back again. While I was there I noticed they also sell Vegan Burgers and pastrys, everything is clearly marked. The only negative is that there is a 50p surcharge for a vegan sausage in your hotdog.

As German living in London, I always search places to get good bread. This place has that and much more, including excellent pizza and great hotdogs. All reasonably priced by London standards! Well worth a visit.

I go to this shop to buy food. Not all of it is nice, but some of it is nice. They used to give chilli sauce for free on the pizza counter. He then decided to take it away to now use as a special ingredient on sandwiches. Now that there is no chilli at the country, the pizza are now bland tasting. The problem I have is, if something works, why change it. I have been going since he was open and he used to complain that no one used to buy his pizzas, I made it clear to him that this might be London, but it is not central London and people don't want to pay nearly £4 for pizza. He has had to reduce the price many times. But clearly it is still over priced pizza when there are plenty of other pizza places that sell for a lot less and taste just the same if not better. Now he wants to charge for chilli sauce and literally gives you a tight drop of it. The cheek really. Since he has become busier as there is no competition of cafes there, and he sells good parties, again expensively than others oaths high street, his arrogance has got worse. The way he speaks to people is disgusting. Hopefully he wont be running for long. The rudeness is so unprofessional and the taking away of condiments that help the food taste better, is just bad business choices. if something works, why take it away. There is also one salesgirl there who is also very rude when serving you. When you ask her ingredients as its in foreign language, she gets annoyed instead of appreciating our interest in something new to us and her explanation is all over the place, you tend to walk away feeling like you've been given a telling off and even then you didnt understand a word of what she was saying, because it just didnt make sense and she shouts when she's speaking. its really awful. I don't feel like I can go here anymore, its not worth the lack of customer service by management and his girlfriend! and the food is ridiculously priced, the owners just ripping people off with the prices. the amount of times I have seen people complain about the food prices is ridiculous. And they still don't get it. what needs to happen is another store opening with reasonable prices and this one will loose his customers. bad service, attitude and poor pricing point!

We were looking for somewhere to get something to eat before we went to the Hammersmith Apollo for the evening. We found this Delightful Place by chance. We wanted somewhere that had Vegan Options and this place came up trumps. We had 2 Vegan Burgers and a Vegan Hot Dog. They were very hot and delicious. Well worth the money and highly recommend. Staff were very polite and very helpful.

It was my first visit and the basic £4.99 hot dog that I ordered with grilled pork came extremely hot (temperature wise). I couldn't eat it until I waited 10 minutes for it to cool down. The bread tasted as though it was microwaved and the pork had little to not taste. It reminded me of cheap microwavable burgers from Aldi. Not sure if it was a one off due to the staff that served me or if it is always like this since it was my first time.

I always come to Bakehaus to grab my favourite sweetie pastries. In my last visit I had the curry dog with grilled sausage and I got impressed with the quality. Delicious and tasteful. Friendly staff.

My husband spotted that they had hotdogs as we were walking by so we planned to come back and almost missed it, getting there 20 minutes before closing. They made us these amazing hotdogs. They were a foot long and served on french bread ficelles. We picked the bockwurst basic dog and they were SO GOOD. HIghly recommended to hotdog lovers!!

Haven't been to Hammersmith in a while, so was surprised to see this new store in King St. So Bakehaus is a modern German bakery offering cakes, pastries, cookies, pretzels, sandwiches, burgers and German sausage rolls. I only got the Vegan Burger. Looked good when it came to my table. Tasted like a veggie burger from McDonald's. Too much ketchup and vegetable garnish. I literally could not taste the burger, so just like a meal from McDonald's where I'd only visit in a dire emergency. At least at McDonalds I could've gotten fries and a drink for less.

Good German style baked goods from savoury boreks to sweet strudels, all of which look and taste the part. The bratwurst is a good filling lunch with good topping choices like sauerkraut, pickles, mustard.

A friend took me there for lunch and I was well impressed. Easy menu so you don't have to stand there for long deciding what to choose. I ordered a fish sandwich and he came out nice and hot, tasted very fresh as well.I did not have to wait long either.They had vegan sandwich as well as pizzas did not try but all looks good. The place was very clean. I would definitely go back and I would definitely recommend friends and families.

De todos modos, hoy he visitado el lugar para comprar algunos pasteles dulces para mi desayuno y todavía me decepcionó ver que un empleado que fue grosero conmigo todavía trabajaba allí. Es un lugar con buena comida, tristemente dirigido por personal arrogante e ignorante. Un verdadero misterio para mí, ¿por qué el dueño del negocio mantiene al personal como este o quizás no se preocupa por sus clientes?

Me encanta la comida alemana y siempre menos cuando regrese de unas vacaciones allí. Hornear Haus es la solución perfecta para este, ya que ofrece comida alemana en el REINO UNIDO que no sólo es delicioso pero asequible. El personal aquí es muy amable, y los productos horneados también son muy sabrosos. Sin duda estoy dispuesto a mantener la sensación de volver y probar cosas diferentes (aunque tengo una debilidad por el curry wurst. . . )

Mollati dalle donne della nostra compagnia (attirate dallo shopping del quasi prospicente Primark) e colti da un improvviso "buco allo stomaco", il sottoscritto ed altri due componenti del gruppo, ci siamo "appuntati" la fame con una delle svariate, assortite ed abbondanti proposte da forno e non, di questo punto ristoro di ispirazione tedesca, ma presente anche a Londra..Si va dagli hot-dog classici, alle ciabattine wurstel e mozzarella, alle lasagne, cannelloni, panini farciti, normali prodotti di panetteria, dolci, pizza, ecc.ecc....tutto self-service e pagabile alla cassa (bevande comprese) e o a portar via o consumabile all'interno sui tavoloni con sgabelli comodi e puliti...L'ideale insomma per un brunch veloce, un pranzo informale o altro...ottima qualità, freschezza e buon rapporto qualità-prezzo (i miei amici londinesi mi hanno riferito che ci vanno spesso in qualsiasi orario ed è sempre affollato e con prodotti sempre appena sfornati)...vicinissimo alla fermata Metro di Hammersmith.

Made my Austrian wife and austrian food loving kids very happy on our visit to London. Reasonable and quick service. Perfect to pop in for a a snack or lunch.

It started out selling baked goods like bread and rolls. Now it's expanded into pizzas and burgers. I had a spinach borek and I liked the look of the hamburger too under a fiver.

Hands down these guys offer the best patisserie and pizza. It's not the cheapest but staff and food both are impeccable. Please do visit.

Popped in for a coffee this morning. What struck me most was how charming and considerate the staff were - did not feel like a fast food place.

Good coffee and pastries at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is nothing special, but such a range of pedestrians around here, the seats by the window offer people-watching like no other.

What a great find on a busy street. Every morsel tasted (sandwiches, pastries and pizza) are delicious. Their combo of ingredients is unique to other sandwich places. And their servers have been only courteous and kind. Cannont wait for our next visit.

Love, love, love Bake Haus! From the wonderful breakfast pastries they offer - chocolate filled Croissants, almond croissants, custard filled that are just yummy! Their pizza is hot and wonderful! Also love their hot cheese breads and other lunch style offerings. Perfect on a chilly London day.

Don't have a single criticism about this place. Pastries are always fresh. We go every week. Hubby loves the cinnamon pastry so do try that. The pastries are so light, melt in the mouth, just divine. The sandwiches are amazing. We are vegetarian and often find that sandwiches skim on the fillings but here, they are incredible and full of flavour. Pizza slices ...... Oh man, just delish.

Great range of food to eat in or takeaway. Great for lunch......especially good veggie options. Picked up to eat on our travels back home ....wish we had tried them earlier .

for a quick snack in Hammersmith...clean....quick......had a chicken roll...the doughnut was ok but not enough jam or cream but the price was right 4.00.....did not seen a rubbish bin to put the paper in so had to leave it for the service staff which is not good but the price was right and quick

This where you can find the best rye sourdough bread. The Kaiser rolls and pretzel are also best of their kind.

Until recently I was working in the area so used to pop in for lunch. What can I say, smells amazing, yummy food and friendly staff. If you like German food then definitely check this place out. Just wish they were opening more stores across London!

The food here is beyond excellent and was what we wanted. Great as lunch or a snack. The breads smelled great too.

We popped in to the store now for the second time and we just love it. All the pastries they have are close to our taste. Great variety, wonderfully priced, as 3 pastries are only £2.25. Coffee and tea is cheap as well, so are the organic juices in the fridge. The pizza meal deal is around £4, having a slice, a can of drink and a pastry. Really worth checking this place

Ok so a Borek is actually Turkish in origin but who cares - it was delicious. Great selection of German breads and cakes. Sadly no Bionade to wash it down but they also serve lots of hot and cold meals and you can eat in or out. There are loaves to take away and there should be something that takes your fancy. Perfect for a quick lunch if your based in Hammersmith.

I decided to try traditional german schnitzel with potato salad as it seemed to be too yummy on the picture in menu. Unfortunately, what I got was not a proper schnitzel but a warm piece of chicken kiew, the same you can buy in one of the cheap supermarkets for £1. The place itself looks nice as well ad pizza and items from the bakery.In addition, it's nice and clean place but a cheap finger food should be deginitely be replaced with proper meat..

This place is fantastic. They are offering delicious pastries and amazing quality breads. Their 100% Rye bread is one of the best I have ever tasted in my life. Hope they will open more branches in London.

Why on the earth a place that advertises itself as a German bakery, has a Pizza corner bigger than anything else inside the shop?Everthing else is perfect, bread, pastries, and even the prices are absolutely alright for what they offer. I'd put more german dishes and get rid of that pizza corner, for exemple it would be amazing a proper grill with lots of wurst and things like that!Anyway, I liked the place a lot and sure I will come back!

I must say i did not know Bake Haus is on Tripadvisor otherwise I would have wrote my review long time ago just to say how delicious that Bockwurst can be! It is always a joy for my wife and daughter when we are in the area. However as much a delicious food can be, this was destroyed by a terrible salesman behind the counter which explains the new style of serving the Bockwurst in the most rude possible way telling me with his face expression and grumpy voice "we serve in three ways..." just just to say idiot.Of course I was offended and I offered my answer in return that I did not know and I usually have it plain but my answer made the salesman even more arrogant when I gave my 5 pound note which took it and looked at it very carefully and inserted slowly in the false note machine and gave me a look like I was some kind of a criminal which infuriated me on the spot! I mentioned to him that he cant be that rude and has no clue what customer service is and mention in a ignorant way "so what ? I can call the police..." totally without any vision of the problem.Anyway I have visited the place today at my wife requests and still was disappointment to see that an employee who witnessed the problem that day was to remind to that "counter salesman" that I came back.It is a place with good food, sadly run by arrogant and ignorant staff. A real mister to me why they are on Tripadvisor when they don`t care about their customers.

We found this place by accident, the staff were all lovely. We had problems getting the wifi to work so the guy on Pizzas sorted it for us. The pastries are lovely and coffee isn't bad either for what you pay. I asked one of the staff for a bit of paper and she did her best to find one but couldn't but was so nice about it. Really good value too, three pastries for £1.99, very hard to beat value like that.

Great value for lunch. Chicken sausage roll was very tasty. Pastry was very crispy. They have some very good flavored bread as well.
