I had a pleasant experience at PizzaExpress. The atmosphere was nice and peaceful, making it a comfortable place to. My server Marcelo, was very energetic, and always had a friendly smile, which made the service exceptional. As for the pizza, it tasted good, but considering the price, it was average.

The staff is lovely but it can get very crowded and then it’s a while for you to get served. The pizzas are very good and it’s easy to bring kids as well. They do Great ‘make your own pizza’ parties too!

I had such a lovely time at Pizza express Rockley Road about two weeks ago with my family. Everyone was welcoming, the food was great and our host Marcelo was exceptional. His attention to detail, friendliness and warm welcome made our evening very pleasant!

I recently visited Pizza Express with my partner and while the food and atmosphere were great, the highlight of our evening was the exceptional service we received from Mima, our waitress. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our meal. On top of that, we were thrilled to find that they offer a delicious lactose-free cheese option, which made our dining experience even better! Mima went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and her friendly attitude truly stood out. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend asking for her – she made our evening special. We’ll definitely be back, thanks to her lovely service and the great lactose-free cheese!

The staff are very nice 🙂 but the pizza is so bad the sauce is so raw and the cheese is like rubber the worst part is the dough is undercooked guess what I bit into my pizza 🍕 and the cheese separated from the dough I'm so disappointed 😔 and the pepperonis are AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHEESE I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THE TOPPINGS BEING AT THE BOTTOM I THOUGHT THEY WERE BETTER I RECOMMEND MELEMIUM PIZZA PUTNEY ITS AMASING

The pizza was amazing and the service was good and for a good price, but the interior is so dark and the spotlights shinging on each table are so bright that the hard contrast between light and dark was a bit "uncomfortable". In my opinion, providing slightly more soft ambient light throughout the room and making the spotlights not so blindingly bright would make the atmosphere better and more comfortable. The location is nice, too. Because it's located a block or so away from the main road means the traffic passing by isn't as bad, and it's not so loud.

Thieves hang around outside this one in deliveroo uniforms. They tried to steal my bike but I was wise to it and had to move it. Made for a not pleasant experience at all

The best service and food a place could give. Mima is charismatic and attentive, the chefs are talented in serving the best food, and the manager provides a great atmosphere. 10\10

Me and two of my friends were looking for a place with gluten free food, as one of my friends is gluten free, and Pizza Express came up. When we went we were energetically greeted and our waiter Marcelo was super fun! When we told him that my friend is gluten free he grabbed a large book that had all the dietary options for all of the dishes and double checked what my friend was getting was gluten free. When I asked him about spice on a dish he gave his opinion and also was very helpful. A great experience and was a very tasty dinner!

Mima and Claudia were super friendly, made sure we weee made welcome from the moment we entered and also helped us with our issue with O2 priority codes. We will certainly be visiting this branch again. Thank you for your wonderful service.

Went on way to other things. They were quiet but it was a Tuesday lunchtime. Service was brilliant. Not over attentive but on point. I am a creature of habit. I have the same thing. Always funghi di Bosco pizza. I love Italy . I travel. Today. This pizza was THE BEST I have ever had. Including Italy and many numerous pizza expresses This place deserves more attention. When I next go to London. I would go out of my way to visit this franchise. Stunning . Thank you. X and I am a tough critic

My wife and I had a wonderful evening at Pizza Express. We could choose a table and sat by the window. Our waiter was Marcelo. He is a lovely energetic man who is always smiling, is very friendly and very helpful. We asked some questions about the menu and he answered them all very professionally. When he found out we were there in London to celebrate my birthday, he brought me yellow balloons and a plate with some pieces of brownie and a burning candle on top, and sang “happy birthday” for me, together with his colleague. It was a very nice experience.

Mima was super welcoming and positive and made our visit an even better experience.

The waiter Marcelo is dynamic, smiling and super fast. We ordered 2 salads and 1 pizza served quickly and generously for an affordable price. We recommend this simple but friendly pizzeria, Marcelo speaks to you warmly and shows you little places to visit.

We had such a lovely time at Pizza Express! We asked for our order to be quite speedy as we didn’t have much time to spare, and it arrived so quickly we were even too early!! Our waiter Marcelo was so kind and his smile was so contagious:) Couldn’t recommend it more!!

Wanted to say my boyfriend and I had a lovely dinner here, made even better by our waiter Marcelo! He was super attentive and very kind, I can’t remember the last time I had such lovely service so it was very refreshing and made our Friday night! (To his manager, he deserves some days off!!)

We've been eating at this branch for 10 years now, the pizza is always cooked and presented to our liking, but the main reason we return is because of the friendly, attentive staff, it's like returning to family each time we go. Service is top notch, haven't found anywhere to beat it. Thoroughly recommend it you won't be disappointed. I should like to add that the service was also very speedy and the quality of the food was amongst the best we have seen in Pizza Express.

I loved the experience at the pizzeria in Shepherd’s Bush on Rockley Road, pleasant atmosphere, tasty pizza, excellent service from all the staff, especially the Brazilian Marcelo who served us very well. I will definitely return to the establishment, I recommend it.

The waitress mima was very sweet and gentle with us, and the kitchen team specifically Mariangela made us very good tasting food, the hospitality was truly wonderful. I would recommend this for a calm and delicious night out with friends with hospitality like this.

Went to Pizza Express for a lunch on a rare sunny day in London with my cousin. I had been given a money off voucher from my network provider so I claimed it and we ordered a pizza for 6.45z We opted for the Sloppy Joe pizza. Although delicious - There wasn’t anything sloppy about it. We expected it to be and actually would have preferred it to be a more loaded pizza with more of a wet texture - maybe with more tomato sauce or cheese sauce. the Pizza was lacking texture wise but did not disappoint taste wise.

The pizza was wonderful and the waiter Marcelo's joy was contagious and the atmosphere was delicious.

Had a lovely evening at this Pizza Express yesterday with some friends, not too busy either (a group of 6 of us)! Marcelo, one of the waiters, was really helpful and kind when we were taking time sorting out the bill at the end and expressed interest in our lives. Thank you!

What a lovely experience in Pizza Express. Went there for dinner with my mum and it was such a good shout. The food was cooked well, came out quickly and fit my mums dietary requirements. The establishment was clean and well staffed. Special shout out to Mima. Such great customer service, she went above and beyond and did it all with a smile. I would come back just for her. She mentioned she had been working here for 33 years. So incredible! 5 star rating all round - food, service and atmosphere.

There were 8 of us and we had asked for a quiet table. We were seated in a great spot. Our waiter Marcelo was welcoming and did everything he could to make us feel comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. He happily took a photo for us of the group. I had the Brushetta- perfect! Pizza base, warm from the oven, beautiful flavour. Chilli prawns were superb. Low calorie choices were excellent! The Leggera Pomodoro was delicious.! Cooked perfectly, with a hole in the middle for salad! Others had the chocolate fondant and lemon with meringue roulade. All cooked to a high standard. It was a combined birthday, and Marcello picked up on this, and a special brownie decorated with Happy Birthday' was presented after the meal! Claudia had assisted with this lovely touch! They both came over to the table to sing Happy Birthday. Definitely recommend this restaurant! It is unusual to be served with such enthusiasm. Marcello is a great asset to the restaurant. As there were 7 of us the service charge is automatically added to the bill. Cannot fault the service in this restaurant.

I went with a friend for something to eat. It was a beautiful day so we asked if we could sit outside. Marcelo was our waiter, he was so lovely. He set up a table outside and we ordered our drinks and food. He gave us plenty of time to decide what to have and digest our food; then we finished with a coffee and small dessert. Thank you Marcelo for your great service.

A very nice surprise on the plus side. I felt well taken care of here by the waiter - Marcel - thank you, full professionalism and I felt more like in a small family restaurant, not a chain restaurant. Pizza for 4 with a plus, but a big one because of the toppings. The second plus is for fulfilling our request for olives. If anyone is in the area, I recommend it.

Service non existant due to only one on duty and the Maitre D dissapearjng afte giving me a menu and informing me that they cant to an affogato. Took 20 minutes to then order a seperate coffee and gelato!!. The outdoor terrace is now classified as a non smoking area, despite people smoking around it on the street! Pity, as usually,the food is good.

We have had a great service by our server MIMA, she was very patient and kind. WE are a family of , Mom and Dad and children (quite small). The kids could order one by one and she did not mind to take their orders and suggest appropriate meals. The pizza dough was very good and toppings also. Miss MIMA was so quick and all the pizzas came in no time. Great experience. See U again.

The usual rather good Pizza Express. This particular venue has a series of levels (bolgia?) going down from the door. Quaint but may be slightly more difficult for someone going down steps. Enjoyed it there even though is was quiet as I was there fairly early.

I am a pizza express regular at lots of different branches across London, and this one is by far my favourite, and the best. Mima is the most friendly Pizza Express host in the whole of the capital, and the pizza they make here is the best of any pizza express in London. Come and visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Mima is brilliant,, great service (even through a rush of people) - she was the only server on the floor and still managed to do everything for every table!! Food is good,, nothing over expectations for a pizza express. Location is a bit naff to be honest, have to walk through a not nicest shopping centre but inside the pizza express is lovely and feels new.
