Visited here a fortnight ago when i was looking for a pub to watch the Saturday lunchtime football. Very friendly bar staff, great pint of Guinness at a good price and to round it all off got offered a free chicken pie which was delicious!

Inside is better than the outside. Drink, Pool, Darts and a good atmosphere what else could you ask for.

Nice pub down a small well lit alley. The staff were very friendly and we had some good banter going. The prices were reasonable too.

A cosy little bar that classes itself as a "sports bar" and as far as I can tell show most big events on the tv. However there is a step at the door of perhaps 5 or 6 inches and no accessible toilets. 2019 and a reasonably modern facility with no attempt to cater to disabled! Having said that, the staff that was on when I went could not have been more friendly and helpful. It was pleasant to see the rapport with the customers and I discovered they have occasional quiz nights that seem to be well attended with teams playing not just for first place but also for last because of the wonderful quality of the locally designed 'wooden spoons'! I had the chance to see one and I have to admit I can see why some would want to play for it!

Great place to watch football, no matter if the locals support your team or not, you can still have the crack. Good pint also and you won't find cheaper.
