Bailey's Cafe and Sandwich Bar in Birmingham

Turned up after open time just after 8.00am. People sittimg in there drinking teas ect. Doors locked with no explaination from staff. Just looking at me from counter. Nice one

In all my years of eating breakfast, in many different countries, it's fair to say that this place wins through and through. From the lovely young woman at the till, to big boss Adrian in the kitchen, you all deserve a big pat on the back, and even more tips! Super friendly staff, the breakfasts were amazing, with large portions and friendly on the wallet! One happy family of Aussies here! 😃 - Chris

I recently visited this cafe during lunch hours. It was busy, and the staff were working efficiently. The kitchen and serving counter provide a view of the fast-paced work. The menu is extensive, covering basic cafe items and light dinner snacks at excellent value. I ordered the half-pounder cheeseburger with chips and a drink. The burger included a salad that paired well with the sauce, and the chips were well-cooked. This place is serious competition for other establishments on the same road.

6 years after my last review and this café is still going strong. Always top-notch service and food.

I usually call in when getting the car serviced locally. Breakfast was nice and tea in big mugs. I'm very picky with sausages (and a bit of a sausage snob), though I ate them and they were better than most cafes. Bacon lovely, beans, eggs and toast lovely. Hash browns passed the rigidity and crispiness test and weren't soggy at all. I took the laptop and a socket was available for charging. Only thing I wasn't sure about was wifi provision and if it is available, the mobile signal was a bit dicy at times when trying to log on to my laptop. Toilets appear to have had a refurb since last time I visited with cleanliness being good, soap, toilet paper and blue roll all available and in plentiful supply. Hot water all fine. Card payment wasn't an issue with a £1 minimum spend. A couple of seats outside on the parade too which is nice. Decor is pleasant and no loud music ot TV. Staff are really pleasant and friendly. Thank you.

Its not very often i write a review but felt this place needed a big shout out ! Having a drop off and collection from birmingham airport this morning, with an hour bewteen each one i had a drive around for somewhere to wait. I stumbled across baileys cafe. The place was buzzing with people so gathered its a good local place. Ordered a small breakfast and sat down the service was quick and food was lovely. Shortly after finishing the table was cleared, as i still had time, I just sat playing on my phone when a lovely gentleman approached me and asked if I was ok. When I explained what I was doing he said no problem at all I just wanted to check that you were ok and didn't need help or anything as your on your own. We had a small chat and he went on his way sorting out stuff. As I was leaving he said goodbye, it was lovely to met you take care! I can honestly say that this was a first for me never before has this happened when I've been on my own. I never took the man's name but was so blown away with the fact that he took the time out to check on me that i couldn't not recommend this place, not only for the service and good food but if nothing else just the sheer kindness that one person showed me. Restoring my faith in the fact that people still care in this world. So for anyone in the area please drop in to this place get your self a lovely meal and support our local buisnesses 🙂

Had a sausage sandwich & cheese toastie it was tasty to be fair , staff was polite, pleasant. I'll go back again to try a breakfast it looked nice and the value what I saw on the menu board seemed reasonable for what you get...

Chicken salad sandwiches are the best

First time using this establishment today and have got to say food was excellent breakfast was top notch i guess it was the owner who had a chat with us and I've got to say what a really nice guy he was...it wont be my last time i visit this place and will certainly recommend to friends and family....keep up the good work to all involved

Sausages like rubber, disgusting “orange” coloured brown sauce, tough fatty bacon,soggy toast - used to be ok but gone downhill since taken over couple of years ago - been to much better “greasy spoons” - Wetherspoons NEC next time we’re down here

If You ever fancy an Awesome Breakfast for a Great Place this the Place to Visit' Great Customer service. They have a Great Menu Definitely worth a visit..

The only thing is because it's so busy there are not enough tables to sit. And you could wait for up to 1/2 hour to get somewhere to sit.

An exorbitant amount of food for the price, excellent taste, welcoming staff and an all around good time, the fellow customers and all were an added bonus, who seem to be regulars who also welcome new patrons... highly recommended

Everyone was soo nice and sweet. Food was awesome too - The big un and chicken tikka toastie.

Amazing food and excellent service. The owner is extremely nice and welcoming. You can tell how much he loves what he does. I came with my friend and I had a beautiful vegetarian breakfast, they have three different type of vegetarian sausages? Wow. Give this great place a try you won't regret it.

Nice food great staff definitely recommend. Could not finish my food which was a shame.

They gave the wrong drink, I asked for the bacon well done and it's just about cooked everything is just a soggy mess apart from the rock hard eggs. We had 2 large breakfasts and both got binned. It's so cheap you don't really care but just a waste of time.

Absolutely 10 out of 10. Food is always fresh and tasty, staff is lovely friendly and quick! I've been here for breakfast with family, friends and alone many times. Ever since they first open, they kept the quality the same. Big well done to everyone. THANK YOU <3

Lovely place, staff get to know the customers and the orders and go the extra mile with the kids. Only reason for the 4 stars in service is 1 member of staff doesn't seem to write down the order correctly most of the time, but she's not on the till every time. Other than that fantastic place and would recommend.

Fantastic. Travelled from Bristol.stayed in hilton not far away. Had breakfast here the next day. Amazing value. Breakfast was too big for me to eat, and comes with a cup of tea included. Really friendly staff, and owner was great and couldn't help us enough. Definitely visit again when I'm in the area. Mrs loved hers also. She had a smaller breakfast which would have been more than enough for me aswell. Very clean. Food tasted great. Great service. Easy parking outside

Can’t rave about this cafe enough. Staff are so attentive and always lovely, from the owner to the servers. As we have become regular visitors of this cafe after stumbling across this gem by chance they have got to to know us and always greet us with a warm welcome. The food is fantastic, never had a bad meal and we have been going once a week for months now. Such good value for money and can’t recommend this place enough. If you haven’t tried it then you must - your missing out!!!

I found this place a few weeks back, since then we visit each weekend with the family. The food/breakfasts are amazing and absolutely worth the value, the look and feel of the cafe is warm & homely, finally the staff are all extremely friendly and very kind hearted, even the kids have had treats for eating all of their breakfast from the kindness of the owner. A local cafe worth visiting, you won't be let down.

Always served with a smile, you get what you ask for as I'm probably awkward when it comes to food, good variety to choose from and always hot and presentable.

Decided to try Bailey's whilst waiting for my car to be serviced. Absolutely beautiful bacon and egg sandwich and hot chocolate and all for £3.90 Fantastic service, the staff aim to please.....and they did!!!
