Great place, fresh ingredients, many items to choose from. Helpful and friendly staff. I recommend Bagel Factory for breakfast and lunch.

Don't attempt to go here during your lunch break, as the staff don't prepare the food in order, leave you standing watching your bagel go cold and cavate this with 'sorry for your wait'. Wont be going there again.

Checked out this hip bagel store in Spinningfields and tried the following: 》Salt Beef Melt | The meaty Salt beef filling was quite substantial and worked well with the melted Emmenthal cheese, gherkins and mustard enclosed in a plain bagel. The flavours are very balanced, I found a winner right here - our personal fave. 》Chicken Pesto | The juicy chicken was doused in a hearty pesto sauce then paired with cheddar cheese. The tomatoes, rocket and poppy seed bagel gave a nice bite to it. The scrumptious taste profile of this one was really enjoyable. 》Peanut Butter & Toffee Banana | The saltiness of the peanut butter combined with the natural sweetness coming from the bananas plus the moreish toffee sauce and lovely cinnamon bagel was quite addictive, this one has my name written all over it. 》Coffee and Hot Chocolate | Ideal pairing for the bagels and also very apt in this chilly weather. "A bagel without coffee is like a life without love" - I couldn't agree more. Bagel Factory has been around the business for almost 30 years and they certainly did not disappoint. Overall, the flavour combos of both the savoury and sweet bagels were spot on. The texture of the bagels complimented the delectable fillings, ticks all the boxes for us. Already looking forward to our next visit. They have various outlets in London, Manchester, Leeds, York, Edinburgh, Hull, Huddersfield, Birmingham etc. Please do visit and try their extensive menu, I highly recommend them.

I had a halloumi melt bagel made by Maz which was super tasty. The other staff were also super friendly. I recommend paying a visit.

Hardly any filling on bacon bagel, very poor value at just under £7 - better off going to greggs , also the staff too busy talking to each other so service was slow and bagel cold

During a day visit to Manchester my husband and I stopped over at the Bagel Factory in the Arndale Shopping Center. Lovely bagels with the right amount of filling and very good coffee. My husband really enjoyed his espresso. It is really unusual to find a good espresso in most restaurants but the Bagel Factory really delivery on that.. Also, great customer service from the team on duty in the morning of 04/08/22 but in particularly great service from Lino who was very friendly and helpful making our visit a very enjoyable one.

Late opening in the morning, waited for over minutes past advertised 8am opening time. Staff were running around inside the shop. No one bothered to apologise for the delay in opening. It was as if we are invisible. I had to leave to the coffee shop across the road.

During a nice shopping visit to the Arndale Centre, and we were pleasantly suprised to find the Bagel Factory. Great choice of various Bagel fillings including the excellent meal deal. Nice friendly staff.

The portion size for the price is very questionable. I got a tomato and basil soup and when I opened the lid, the pot was not even half full! £3.45 for a less than half a pot of soup is far too much.

Overall the food was good quality but the prep was painfully slow. The filling quality was reasonably generous and good quality as were the bagels.

I think if I see a sign saying vegan I have to eat, even if I don’t want to. This little bagel place in Manchester train station had an avocado and olive bagel available with vegan cream ‘cheese’. With a selection of bagels to choose from this was a great option. Better than a dirty fast food burger anyway. The man behind the counter was a friendly chap and told us about his favourite vegan bagel. I would have preferred a bigger bagel for near enough a fiver, but my review is based on flavour of the food and friendliness of the chap.

It's a walk-up shop in the train station, and really, how much can you ask for in such a place? Well, this shop gives you a good range of types of bagels, and you can design a surprisingly healthful meal out of the toppings they offer. Happy, helpful staff, too.

I thought it seemed a tad pricey, but bit the bullet and ordered a breakfast bagel as I assumed it would be on the gourmet side of things. It wasn't. It was small, dry and disappointing. Which coincidentally sums up my sex life. I'm starting to wish we ordered a Maccies instead for half the price.

This was my second visit. I like that they offer vegan cream cheese as a filling so I've been wanting to come back for a while! My previous review was 5 star. This time I'm not impressed. The bagel itself was ok though... This time, I paid for my bagel with cash which meant that the server making my bagel had to provide me with change. This is where the hygiene is questionable. It is standard practice in the interested of food hygiene and safety, that you do not handle cash with the same gloves used to make and prepare food because cash is VERY dirty. It's passed from person to person and never washed. Think about it. So the server starts to prepare my bagel wearing fresh gloves. She then asks for money for the bagel whilst the bagel is toasting. I hand her a £10 note. She keeps the gloves on, takes the note and fishes through the till for my change (coins). I take my change and she returns to the toaster. With the same gloves on which have handled cash and coins. She was about to touch my bagel as well as the fresh food in the counter whilst wearing the potentially contaminated gloves. I get her attention before she touches any food and ask her if she's going to change her gloves. She didn't understand why she should change food handling gloves after handling cash and coins. I told her to change her gloves because I didn't want her to contaminate my food. I explained to her that she has handled money and so she must change her gloves for food hygiene purposes. It was very embarrassing for me to know more about food hygiene than a member of staff at Bagel Factory. She had to get another member of staff to explain to her why I wanted her to change her gloves. She then finally changed her gloves and made my bagel. Staff not knowing why glove changes and hand washing is important seriously puts me off eating here again. I hope the staff here don't pull this stunt when inspections come in because it will mark down their rating. Please properly educate your staff about cash handling in regards to food hygiene.

Needed breakfast/lunch on the way home on a Sunday morning. I went for a cream cheese bagel and an Americano as a combo deal. The menu was a bit weird as I could see loads of things in the display cabinet in front of me that wasn't listed on the menu. Though I could have asked if I had enough time. The service was speedy enough and the quality food was just ok, it just met my expectations. For £3.99 for a bagel and coffee you can't really complain. It was a toasted bagel with plenty of cream cheese spread on it. Though I would say the coffee was more about the quantity than quality. The cup was huge and was drinkable but not exactly enjoyable. It was the kind of coffee you would be happy with at the football on a harsh winter's day. Not sure if I'll bother with this place again. But if you're in a rush and need to grab a bite you could do worse.

I hate to complain about this, but it seems like every time I visit this branch of an evening I am only served by a young man wearing a bandana? This wouldn't be quite so annoying if it wasn't for the fact that he clearly can't follow basic instructions. I ordered a sandwich from the menu, he throws the meats and cheese on and then into the toaster oven - what do you want on it? umm, everything that is on the sandwich I ordered off the menu please, otherwise why would I order that particular sandwich? First thing he puts on -- tomatoes! Guess what, the sandwich does not have tomatoes on it! OK then. So he goes and puts all the salad stuff on, and then he's like, any sauce? Yes as a matter of fact I would like sauce and this will probably shock you, but I would like the EXACT same sauces that are on the sandwich that I asked for -- hard to believe isn't it. I like Subway, but I don't want this chap making my sandwich, he is like the chuckle brothers rolled into one.

To give my experience a 1 star is generous. Sadly the team working this evening were extremely rude, quote “leave this area now we’re closed”. This was declared minutes after my husband had just purchased drinks to the value of £20 with no prior warning that they would be closing. Considering our flight had just been delayed by 2 hours it is a shame they didn’t know how to read the room. There must have been at least 20 people who had also just purchased drinks too.
