We ordered two Sunday roasts.one veggie..( nut roast ) and one pork.. the veggie nut roast was soft and stodgy. The cabbage was burned and the carrots were hard My son said it was about on par with a weatherspoons.. ..however its near Victoria Station and£15-17 for a Sunday what they call a roast.

What a terrific pub experience! Efficient chips is crispy and not oily at all. Also the duck hash and the steak & ale pie we're terrific... even before we drank too much. The service is great and even the owner is on site and serving guests. And a very clean bar. Don't miss this pub.

Made our day! Walked in and got to pour our own beer. Even at 11am, the place was packed. Food was good and the drinks cold. The staff were super nicer

On Tuesday, which was a very hot day, popped in for cold drinks, prior to visiting Buckingham Palace. Was shocked to be charged £9:10 for 2 halves of draft Diet Coke with plenty of ice.

Came here after a walking tour for changing of the guard. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We had the pork belly Sunday roast and the steak and ale pie.

Staff were very professional and friendly. Didn't have to wait too long to be served. Guinness was fantastic. Would definitely visit again.

Typical English pub located in Victoria/Belgravia. Friendly chaps and comfortable atmosphere. Great Sunday Roast choices. But the star here is the onion rings and fish n chips (same. Batter used on both) light and perfectly crispy. Really by far the best I’ve ever had.

Great good, lovely service. Food came out very fast and was tasty. Steak was alittle smaller than usual but was cooked perfectly.

A very nice place to drink and eat, pleasant ambient with a cold beer of all kinds. It’s worth to visit, te little blonde girl bartender is very kind and polite.

Stopped off here for a quick drink and decided to get some snacks. Ordered some Loaded Nachos as this is something my husband and I like to share - and not usually something that disappoints. Until now. Normally when we order Nachos they are warm with melted cheese. These had some melted cheese - but the whole dish was cold. You had a layer of Nachos - which didn’t look like the normal kind and were more soggy than anything. On this layer there was some cheese that had melted at some point. Then another layer of soggy nachos and some guacamole and sour cream in dollops - with pickled pink onions and chilli slices. Thankfully it was easy to remove the chilli slices as I’d not wanted them - but you can’t “remove” items or customise your order when ordering via the App.

Randomly ended up in this pub after a visit to Buckingham Palace and cannot recommend highly enough! Food was unbelievable and was served by the lovely Gavin who couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Will definitely visit again!

Came across this pub whilst walking to our final venue. What a great little pub, it’s lovely to still have traditional pubs in London and this one didn’t disappoint. We stopped in for dinner while in the area of Buckingham Palace and were delighted to stumble across this delightful old Belgravia London Pub. We had a tough time deciding on what to order because their menu has so many great options, including the classics such as fish and chips, vintage cheddar mac and cheese.We settled on the absolutely delicious Steak and Ale Pies paired with Aspall draught cider and an Old Mout pineapple and raspberry cider. The service was quick and friendly despite being very busy and having to wait for a table. If you're looking for a quick, delicious, hearty meal and to also quench your thirst, this is the place!

How can you not stop a at place with that name? 😀 Had a good time and will certainly return anytime I’m in the area. Great brews!

Drinks only as the kitchen was closed but prices were fair compared to others in the area and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We shared a steak and ale pie - which was delicious! We also liked the cabbage that was served with the pie. Hubby was happy with his beer and I appreciated the choice in non-alcoholic drinks and enjoyed my ginger beer. Place was LOUD but that was all the customers.

One of the worst pubs I have ever visited from a service point of view. The staff did not seem at all interested in serving the customers but instead carried on doing jobs which could be done later. Several times as we were waiting to be served there was nobody at all behind the bar. One lad had no idea how to serve a pint of beer. A lady started to serve one person and then walked off to do another job which again could have waited until she had finished serving this person .Absolutely no communication between the staff they were all in the own little world.

My family and I had an evening meal here. We ordered starters and mains. They all came together which we didn’t ask for. The main meal was a Sunday roast, has to be the worst roast we have ever had. Terrible service and terrible food.

Great friendly spot. We dropped in for a late-lunch after some sight-seeing. This was perfect for us. Regulars gave up their table so we could sit together with our friends. The atmosphere was exactly what we needed after a long day. We had a few beers and wine and ordered the fish and chips and bacon and chicken sandwiches. Be forewarned--we walked to the bar to order and I happened to catch a view of a fish and chips coming out of the kitchen--it was huge. We needed up splitting a single order and there was probably enough food for 2-3 people on the plate! The fish and chips were great. Lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. Our wives each had the chicken and bacon sandwiches and everyone cleaned their plates. I'm not sure where the bad reviews are coming from as we did not experience any of those drawbacks. The location is right behind the Palace so our expectations were we were heading into a cheesy tourist trap but that simply was not the case. Would definitely be a go-to for us.

Downstairs, this pub had a great atmosphere, lots of customers drinking, and staff were friendly so we thought we would go upstairs for dinner. Three of us ordered pie and chips . Our plates arrived with nine extremely hot spicy chips each, and the accompanying seared cabbage was both too burnt and so hard that we couldn't even cut through most of it. The pies ought to have contained more meat and the pastry was totally rock hard. The, extra gravy supplied was good and essential to soften the pie crust. I will add that the Ladies loos had a lock missing and another with a lock that didn't work. We all want our pubs to do well, but it doesn't happen without the effort.

Ordered 4 meals.. well 3 toasted cheese sandwiches & one steak ciabatta. Got 2 cheese. 35 mins later still not the rest. Chased & was told it would come. It did.. cheese toastie was naff so opened 2nd half & was just bechamel sauce on bread!! Took it back & was told they are short staffed. Was passed between staff too to speak to someone Food delivered after another 15 mins. Literally cheese looked like it had touched the bread once. Toilets like in another review were awful. No locks.. toilet roll holder off wall so paper all on floor. I get this is a tourist pub but as a chain the standard was awful. Staff looked defeated.. slightly disinterested & tired! Love quaint, love quirky but this was the worst pub for a long time! That said the drinks going out looked good (gin etc) so maybe just serve fries not other food lol.

Called for tea as hungry as anyhing. Access is good and the welcome warm from attentive staff. The menu is varied enough and the meals were both hot wholesome very much enjoyed. The prices were very fair comparable with back home.
