During our day trip to Weatherby, we stumbled upon this cozy coffee haven that we simply couldn't resist. With five of us in tow, we were immediately drawn to this bustling spot, and let me tell you—it did not disappoint! The warm welcome we received, complete with bright smiles from the friendly staff, set the tone for what turned out to be an incredible experience. The décor? Absolutely on point! Trendy vibes all around, with an eye-catching Italian glass coffee machine that screamed sophistication. And that quirky sign at the counter? Loved it! We originally planned to just grab a quick coffee, but the tempting aromas and the sight of freshly baked goodies were impossible to ignore. I was particularly thrilled to discover their freshly made gluten-free brownies—seriously, they were to die for! Before we knew it, we'd extended our stay, savoring every bite and sip. But the true showstopper? The Affogato! It was pure bliss—hands down the highlight of my visit. If you're ever in Weatherby, do yourself a favor and make a beeline for this place. You won't regret it!

As others have said, the coffee is nice, the cakes are fine (but overpriced) and the service is really slow and uncommunicative. I ordered a coffee and a biscuit to go, and there was no queue in front of me, and yet it took over 15 minutes to be made. I asked the server twice how long my drink would be - the first time after 7-8 minutes waiting when she told me it would be ‘in a minute’ - when I asked again whether a refund would be quicker, only then did she start making it, along with an excuse that they were ‘short staffed’ (although this appears to be a common problem when reading other reviews!). There were plenty of staff, but they are not very dynamic (!) - they seemed to be standing around reading out the order tickets to each other and getting confused. If I had been told there was a long wait, I would simply not have ordered and there would have been no problem. We also heard other customers getting frustrated at the wait times - one poor chap was only waiting for an Americano (so quick to make!) and he had been there almost 20 minutes. For over £4 per cup, service should be better - staff who are more adept at handling customers and thinking on their feet might be a good start.

Not a bad place but no toilets is madness! Coffee was good but the food was overpriced to me! No toilets is a shambles not sure if this is fully following regulations re this.

Terrible customer service. I have a two year old daughter who is obviously very small. A lovely couple said they was leaving and allowed us there seat. No signs anywhere about a que. We was then rudely told to move because a couple who was already seated at the window preferred to sit where we had and we had to sit at the high window seats (impossible with a toddler) I know this sounds small. But we was made to feel awful. All because a clearly more valued customer in there eyes had a preference. Awful experience. Awful name

great place, the coffee and the food as well... the only thing I wasn't happy with was the access with animals that shook their fur near our table, being rainy weather outside, the water from their fur reaching our table.

Lovely coffee but boy do you wait for it. There are 2 chain coffee shops across the road which I wish I had gone to now. Popped in whilst out and about. I like to go to local shops. Only a Take away order. Definitely not good when it’s half empty too.

Super stylish coffe shop with lots of choices for drinks and cakes and staff that are both knowledgeable and keen to engage with customers The 2 facless chain coffee shops across the street should hold there heads in shame.

This is a decent coffee place in the centre of Wetherby, it serves the usual sort of coffee, cakes and the like. It`s clean and the service was fine. The prices are slightly on the high side.

Good coffee, reasonably priced, nice decor, not much more to say other than support local business not the chains!

Passing through Wetherby we stopped off here for some lunch. Very busy (not a lot of tables) and freezing as the door was kept open. We had toasties and coffee/tea which were tasty. Same as some other reviews though were the cups for the coffee had no handles!! Why!!?

As a pop in for a take out on the way to the office or a brunch / lunch meeting place, the coffee is always excellent, the food is tasty & well presented, plus the service is very good and friendly. Hopefully they will be opening into the evening soon and there will be more space inside!

Good menu, Reasonable price, Lovely interior very bespoke. Coffee cups lacking handles making them to hot to hold. No cake folks. The only thing stopping it getting a 5 review was music is to loud.

Called in on Sunday to get out of rain , I’m so glad we did . I had a toasted marshmallow hot choc and wow was the best I’ve ever had . My husband said the coffee was excellent too. Highly recommend the Victoria sponge cake 😋. We will deffo be back , I honestly can’t believe this place has not got more reviews. It’s a lovely modern coffee shop with excellent service and produce . Only downside is limited on space inside .

Bae is an amazing coffee shop on the main street through Wetherby. The cakes are to die for. I would particularly recommend the Bakewell blondie. The coffee is also excellent and is served in attractive cups. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. It's nice to be able to sit out on the street and people-watch (weather permitting). The only thing that would make it better would be if it was bigger because it does get full. Maybe one day they'll expand!

First things first - although this place has a Leeds postcode, it is not in Leeds - it is in the attractive market town of Wetherby. Now my review: BAE (Before Anything Else) is a modern style coffee shop in the centre of Wetherby. The interior is a very smart and modern black decor, and even the cups, saucers etc come in the same colour. As I say, it’s all very stylish but although my Americano came in a very nice cup, my wife’s Cappuccino came in an ultra/trendy cup with no handle. It looked very nice but it was impossible to pick up without the use of a napkin to avoid burning your hands. Who’d a thought it! Tip - unless you have asbestos fingertips, ask for your cappuccino in a cup with a handle. The seating is mainly on benches at the windows, augmented by a couple of tables inside and a few on the pavement. Service was good and the coffees excellent. This was our first visit here and we will certainly use it again.

This is a small but quite trendy coffee shop in the centre of Wetherby. We sat on one of the outside tables on a pleasant morning and enjoyed two good quality flat white coffees which cost £6.20.

Designed impeccably for a stylish place to sit and chat, send a few emails or watch the locals pass by whilst sipping delicious coffee….There’s an impressive selection of cakes too (the pastel de nata is the best around) Friendly young staff will bring your drink over with a smile, just choose your seat: inside, by the huge windows or outside. Enjoy!

Excellent food and great choice. Suggest you book ahead. For the "top" meals they are between £25 and £30 each. I had a mixed fish dish which was excellent.

We attended last week and really enjoyed it, but unfortunately, today was not the same. The food was great, as was the lad on the carvery but he was on his own and this meant he had to replace the meat (twice) himself whilst there was a big lunchtime queue. There were plenty of staff working and it was nice to have a clean table to sit at but it would have been nice for someone to check in on the carvery, rotate the veg and get any replacement meats prior to them running out completely. The roast potatoes were rock hard but it was more an issue with the unnecessary carvery wait. I would have scored less today but as last week was so good, I went with 4. We will definitely attend again and just chalk today off as unfortunate.

Visite aquí regularmente cuando esté en el trabajo. El personal es amable y la comida es de primera categoría. No esperes una buena comida pero buena comida honesta.
