I come in here occasionally, generally just for a coffee, but today I had an almond croissant and tea. The tea was fine but the almond croissant was very disappointing especially at a super expensive £4.50. I had it warmed up which may have exacerbated the problem but what I was expecting to be an almond filling was quite liquid and had an unpleasant consistency. I ate it but afterwards wished I hadn't.

Coffee is great but not a place for vegans not normally nothing for vegans to eat so poor on that count. Such a shame as otherwise all OK

Visited on the way to medical appointment. Sadly coffee was extremely bitter and had to use partners to ‘blend’ to make it palatable

Awful tasting coffee mocha in a paper cup not stirred up properly. Paper cups only for takeaway to save waste?! cake was nice.

As per title really . I went here when I was carrying out an office visit / work for a customer and I always look for an independent coffee shop instead of a big chain . Was nice coffee and friendly service .

I came in here to read my book and enjoy a decaffeinated flat white coffee which was very good but at £3.50 it was rather expensive.

This establishment has changed owners and names many times over the years, but always good strong coffee, always worth frequenting an independent opposed to a chain.

I had barely registered this small cafe at the southern end of Wimpole Street. It is very comfortable inside and they did me an excellent quality flat white, strong, not too milky and with nice flavour. I also had a huge gluten free chocolate brownie which was delicious.

Smooth, not bitter, a hint of toffee, not acidic. In short: a very good coffee! Staff are friendly, pastries are tasty and fresh and there's actually a socket to charge your laptop at. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Great coffee - fantastic staff - shame about the umbrellas positioned outside! If it wasn’t for the umbrella - it would have definitely been five stars!

It was just starting to rain so I popped in here for a cappuccino. The oat/carrot muffin looked delicious so I had one; turns out the baked goods are freshly made every morning on the premises by a pastry chef, who clearly knows what he/she is doing! The coffee was extremely flavourful (actually tasted like coffee, unlike most coffee shops) and my request of semi-dry was handled perfectly. Staff behind the counter are friendly, charming and efficient. Why can’t every coffee shop be like this?! I will return soon to sample the lunch menu, which looked very appetising.

Really one of the best coffee places in London. Flat white is creamy, full bodied and fruity - wow. Had the chicken bento again for just under £10 but this time it was not in a bento box but plopped on a large white plate - and the tastes were poor, nothing authentic here any more. Would return for coffee anytime. Need somewhere else nearby for food, unfortunately.

Popped in here for a cappcino and must say it tasted good if a little expensive at £4+ for an extra shot! Would have given 5 stars but it was warm and should have been hotter.

A small place with seating for perhaps 10 people inside and 3 tables outside, pretty much full at 12noon, most having coffee, some a sandwich. Came for food, it was too soon since my last coffee to try one here. There was no sushi on the wall menu and 2 of the 3 bentos listed are no longer available, only the chicken bento at £12.50. There were skewers and a salad at £4 also listed but no idea if they are still available (perhaps they should update the boards on the wall before removing so much of what is shown as available?). Also some sandwiches/wraps listed. Received bento in 10 minutes, as promised. Compartments well filled, good chicken with good sauce, good quality and properly cooked rice, tasty julienned carrot salad and edamame. Good miso soup was aka miso (I prefer shiro). Would return for this bento at this price.

I tried the espresso and cappuccino. Little bit dark for my tasting. I’m guessing it’s not specialty coffee. Not sure why it came up on my search page when I was looking specifically for specialty coffee

A very busy little gem of a cafe. Great coffee. Lots of tasty food choices. We just about got a seat and spent a very pleasant hour watching the Wimpole street crowd go by.

Popped in with a colleague for a quick lunch. Took a sip of my coffee and my jaw dropped. A coffee is a coffee right. Wrong. This particular cup of coffee was simply breathtaking. Ask my colleague, I bored him senseless about it.

Popped in for a relaxing sushi lunch, I'm obsessed with the Tuna Tartufo (truffle mayonnaise) and I love that the sushi chefs prepare everything fresh to order in-house. Dario and Matt are the coffee maestros! Tucked just behind John Lewis, my little snack attack haven...

Very good place for a good coffee. 3 small tables outside, 3 more in, with a bar at the window. Coffee excellent. Croissant perfectly flaky and buttery, without being overdone - nice chewy inside. Baristas taking themselves too seriously (of course). Ramsey Lewis trio on...

Dario makes the best coffee in London. Muffins, sfogliatelle, banana bread and Cesar salads are delicious. Is worth it to come here at any time of the day.

It all looks OK but service is poor and the bar food served is cheap frozen food at prices that should require a far better quality. There are far better options in London

I used to love this place, but haven't been for nearly 10 years. I'm glad to see it hasn't changed too much, but with the downside that it is now apparently owned by BrewDog. Luckily, it appears they let them continue without having to follow the "taproom by numbers" you get out of most BrewDog bars, so not only does it have it's own look, but there is a much more interesting selection of beers. It was easy enough to get a seat on a Saturday afternoon, which is always a bonus in a decent location like this.

. . HORARIO DE APERTURA De lunes a viernes: 6. 30 a 7. 00 pm Sábado: 7. 30 a 7. 30 pm
