The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. You pay a little bit more than other restaurants but it is well worth it.

Would not return to have burnt, tasteless pizzas. Asked for a small child sized portion for my elderly mother and was served a normal sized portion which we were charged for. Generally very poor.

Food and service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. Celebrated my wife's birthday.

Went early, just as it opened around 5 before heading to the cinema on the recommendation of a friend. Lovely food, great service. The chef came out to see how we were and made it clear we could amend anything on the menu, which one of us did. He even offered to make something if we'd prefer. Food was excellent. The bruschetta were different to what I'm used to but delicious. We all had pasta - every dish was great. The house red was lovely - second large glass. The lemoncello ice cream really cleaned the pallet. We rolled out of there to see Andre Rieu concert at the cinema - also a good worth a visit. Service just how you want it - there but not fussing.

Fantastic food reasonably priced service was good the lady from Bulgaria (forgot the name) was very nice. The Italian lady behind the bar could be more cheerful as she struggled to smile. Great food anyway good portions will definitely recommend 😊

Great Italian with varied menu, good service and fair prices. Have enjoyed eating here on many occasions in the past. Carbonara, Rack of Lamb and Salmon recommended. They also do a decent takeaway if you're local!

Visited here a few weeks ago, wed actually tried to call a few times before on previous occassions to make a booking and we was told they were fully booked. On the night we actually ate there, we called, was told the same spiel "no were fully booked" and after going back a few times on the phone with the receptionist we were allowed to make a booking for 15 minutes later. Okay fine maybe it's just in super high demand. Turned up and spent two hours there - the place was empty. At prequent points we were the only customers. The starters were okay. The mains were absolutely awful. Overcooked risotto with an almost grotesque amount of food. My husband had the gnocchi which wasnt homemade and not too similar to what we buy at Aldi. For the life of me I don't understand why this place is rated the way it is, especially with the extremely rude phone receptionst let alone the food

Stumbled across this restaurant with it being close by to our hotel, quick to seat us and take our order though we did have to order our wine twice as they did not put this through the first time. Food took around 20 minutes was lovely everything hot and very tasty would come back again!

fiirst time we have been would definatly be going back .We had 1 pizza ,1 lasagne,1 mushroom rissotto and 1 seafood rissotto.waited about 30 mins and it all came out piping hot.The food was excellent.

I have never actually been to the restaurant but I have ordered takeaway from this restaurant numerous times. Every time has been some of the best local Italian food I have had. Would definitely recommend the bresaola pizza and the Bertagni Porcini.

We had a lovely family meal here yesterday. The food was delicious and authentically Italian and the service was excellent. Lots to choose from on the menu including vegetarian options. Amazing pizza's!

Food and service excellent as always but they need to sort out the fruit fly issue it’s the second time I’ve been and spent the night shooing little flies away from us whilst we are eating it’s put me off returning again which is a shame as is a lovely little place.

Good quality and generous portions

We've been twice and the food has been consistently amazing, best italian food we've found in London so far. The restaurant itself is very small but the environment is surprisingly quiet and not overly loud like other restaurants. The staff has been very pleasent also. Will def be coming back.

Have dined here on numerous occasions and have been to Italy many times and also trendy London Italian restaurants. This is not a trendy place but a comforting local place, excellent food and service.

A quiet restaurant in Eltham that never seems to be busy. It's at the very east of Eltham High Street but is always a good place to visit. The food served is top quality and there is a good choice too. There tends to be just one person serving, but this is totally adequate as there aren't many tables to serve. One downside for me is that they don't have any beer on tap, so I drink a bottle of beer instead, which makes it more expensive. However, their delicious pizzas, pastas, chicken, fish etc. certainly make up for this. An Eltham restaurant that I thoroughly recommend.

As always the quality of food and service is top notch. We can't fault it. My starter of parmigiana was divine and my main of veal with wild mushrooms was delicious. Service was excellent. Thanks Alina! 😊

From starter to desert was all 100% quality and the cooking and service was impeccable. It was our first visit and there will be many more to come fantastic.

We were beyond disappointed – we ordered (and paid for) dinner for six people to be delivered the next evening, all to find out **without any notification whatsoever** from Azzurro or UberEats, that our ordered had been cancelled. If I had not thought to check on our order a couple of hours before delivery was expected, our NYE gathering would have been left hungry on our festive event. I understand that NYE is busy. But do not take orders in the first place, or please at least have the basic courtesy to send an email or text message or phone call or *anything* to let people know with enough time to make other arrangements. Apparently the order was cancelled later on the same day we placed the order – we could have had 24 hours to ensure a proper meal instead of having to order Domino’s at the last minute. But instead nothing.

As always, given a warm welcome, had a delicious meal, service friendly and efficient. The food is so fresh and tasty. Love it.

Had a girls night Christmas meal and drinks here. There were 12 of us and all very enjoyable. Food was good and service was good. We were sat next to the radiator so it was slightly too warm but only a minor issue. If we were a smaller party I think some music and more ambiance would be appreciated but think this went unnoticed as there were quite a few of us. All fine and acceptable for our occasion but don’t think I would go if it was a smaller party as needs a bit more life and soul to the place.

Went for the first time. Had three courses - first two were ok but desserts were average. Service quite poor, waited 20 minutes to be offered a drink. Threw out of four of the party had a dodgy stomach the next day.

I have been to this place many times as it is close to my grandparents house, it has amazing food and brilliant staff. My whole family went recently for a birthday and as per usual it was amazing.

I honestly cant imagine how anyone could give this place 5 stars. The food is TERRIBLE. Please do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. This is possibly the worst italian food I have experienced. Things were definitely microwaved, deep fried items were undoubtedly reheated and not fresh, everything tasted like it was full of dried herbs to mask the tasteless flavour. £90 is far too much to spend at a place like this. This is a place for people that have never been to Italy, nor experienced genuine Italian cooking. There are no redeeming features about this place, there are no positives I can give to soften this review. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Yet another lovely meal here. Quiet for a Sunday. The standard of cooking really is exceptional. The service is excellent, the ambience is lovely. Nice easy parking nearby. Prices very reasonable. We love it.

We had a few takeaways from here during lockdown and was really impressed. This was our first time dinning and we was absolutely blown away with the quality of the food. Every dish was absolutely delicious. Such good value for money too. We had 2 starters, 3 main courses, 2 beers, large wine and 2 orange juices and the meal came in at under £80. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing food, came here a while back with my partner in the spur of the moment and accommodated us really well even though it was a Saturday night. Generous helping of cheese on the garlic bread, and reasonably priced.

Have passed this restaurant many times and often said we should try it . Well last night we did and we won’t be passing by again . This is a little gem . A very smart small restaurant . The menu has a mix of classics and new dishes . Our waitress Alena seemed a bit shy at first but was efficient and helpful when it came to making our food choices . The food was very good , my pasta was served hot which isnt achieved in many restaurants . Everything was well presented and very tasty . Good wine menu . We were to full to enjoy a desert so opted for coffee and liqueurs. Think it would be wise to Bol as a small venue . We will be returning very soon and will become a new favourite .

I really like Azzurro. It's not fashionable and it's not trendy but it is a really good authentic local Italian restaurant. I've dined here many times and it never fails to deliver. The food is really good value and the wine list is short and has everything you need. Nero D'Avola,.Primitivo, Chianti etc. I can't really fault it at all. Support your local restaurants, why go uptown when this is on your doorstep!

Went today, was taken by my parents. Food awful and the constant ding of the microwave was not reassuring in terms of how fresh it was or how it was cooked. Reataurant has a just eat collection driver entering every 10 minutes. Only one table in apart from our table of 6 for most of the evening. A racist and foul mouthed couple, who had no respect for anyone, reminds me of why I moved out of Eltham. The food was not traditional, fresh or good value. The home made lasagne was awful, seafood risotto empty shells and not much seafood, pasta all dry shop brought. The kids pizzas were made as adults ones and my Mums dish was incorrect, all served to us of course and then told that they were mistakes. The single toilet was filthy and had a very old fashioned hand dryer, not covid safe by any way! Shame as Eltham has no decent restaurants, the search continues! They really do know there market though, must be laughing all the way to the bank!

Visiting Eltham for the weekend and enjoyed an excellent meal at Azzuros which was very reasonably priced. The service and ambience cannot be faulted. If I lived in the area I would be a regular customer.

Found this restaurant by chance after looking for restaurants in Eltham online. Can’t fault anything. Service, food quality and even price were superb. Pasta piping hot and absolutely delicious. Went for a family meal (4 of us). Couldn’t fault the place. One of our party required gluten-free. No problem! Will certainly return. If the restaurant had a higher profile location in any busy high street it would be banged out every night!

One of our favourite Italian restaurants. Polpettinne and Bruschette with mushrooms and garlic were wonderful. Friendly service also helps to ensure a wonderful evening.

I really like this restaurant and the food is great there. However, we ordered a bottle of wine and sadly it was corked. It happens, no big deal. We told the waitress who looked at us as if we were mad! "Wine doesn't go off"she said but she called the manageress over. And we got a similar reaction from her. She would not accept or didn't seem to know that sometimes, wine is corked. She kept saying that we didn't like the wine and that that was fine. She would not accept no matter how many times we said it wasn't that we didn't like the wine, it was off. Now, I really like this restaurant and have been there quite a few times, the staff are great (usually), the atmosphere is good and the food is fine. But, on this occasion it was not a great experience.

Ended up very uneasy paid alot of money for it will never go there again

The food was excellent, all very freshly prepared, the service welcoming and riendly but not pushy and the restaurant is decorated and laid out in a relaxed, but safe (re Covid) manner. I was so surprised to find such amazing place hidden in Eltham! The atmosphere and food is to die for! I went classic with pizza and was not disappointed, it was just perfect. Ideal crust and generous toppings. The wine choice is also very good, you will not be disappointed :)

Le mencioné esto a la camarera y, a pesar de que estaba a la mitad de la comida, el chef / propietario apareció e insistió en que no habría ningún problema en cambiar mi plato principal. El saltimbocca resultante fue fantástico.Nos limitamos al vino tinto de la casa, un multipulciano, y nos pareció una excelente elección.Una segunda visita anoche confirmó nuestra admiración por el chef y sus habilidades.Un capricho gastronómico. Servido por personal amable y servicial.Volveremos. . . .

Update.....back open and serving great delicious foods again 😁. Delightful, flavorful and plentiful dishes! All at reasonable prices. My family have dined at the restaurant many times and in the current climate I order a collection to try to support this local restaurant. All dishes were perfectly cooked, packed and piping hot. Would definitely recommend all the dishes we had but the one that i really enjoyed was the Meatball appetizer, really good tangy tomato sauce to compliment 3 perfect meatballs. Calzone mains were massive and i struggled to finish mine, outstanding for only £10.50!! I can't really comment on the staff as only the chef/owner was there but he's polite, professional and attentive. Hopefully this restaurant will be back open fully on the 4th of July so please come out and show your support! Parking is limited and can be tricky.
