Tasty food with Turkish peaceful ambience. We were seating in one of the rooms where you sit on cushions on the floor. The room provides privacy and coziness. The Turkish tea at the end of our meals were great too. I highly recommend the mix kebab and the ayran! The mosque upstairs is perfect too, ensuring you don't miss out on obligations.

I've been here a few times in the past and the food and service was very nice. For whatever reason the manager today wasn't very nice rushed us to leave at 10:30 and refused to give us tea. Very disappointing i won't be coming back soon.

Updated review 30/08/24: The once pleasant customer service has considerably deteriorated, the manager was strangely stand-offish from the get go and wasn't very pleasant to speak to over the phone or in person. The closing time was clearly stated as 11pm but we were constantly being reminded that they would be cleaning up at 10:30pm. We arrived at 10pm and had finished eating by 10:20 so as not to cause any inconvenience, the bill was hastily brought to us and when we requested tea we were told that we've already been accommodated for and that tea wouldn't be provided. A word of advice, regardless how successful your business is, a quick way of losing once loyal customers is to make them feel as if they are doing you a favour by visiting your establishment. A kind word and maybe 5-10 minutes of your time goes a long way. Old review below: Very easy to call and make a booking and generally the customer service is good. One of the few places in London that offer a traditional Turkish private dining experience, this is one of the reasons my family and I really enjoy coming here. The booths are kept clean and it's really nice to sit on the floor and enjoy a slightly more intimate setting than a usual restaurant, I'd urge others to try this for themselves. Food is always brilliant and gets served surprisingly quickly. Only complaint would be that sometimes the pizza/bread oven closes rather early. Also prices have gone up slightly recently but this isn't too uncommon to see.

The food quality was fairly good. However, the service was awful. We was rushed to eat our food and when we requested tea the manager refused to give us tea in a horrible manner. He spoke to us rudely throughout the time we were there. I do not recommend.

One of the halal places where alcohol not sold, comparing to other restaurants on a street. This one is 100% halal, I advice fellow muqmin to go here and avoid other Turkish restaurants where they sell alcohol

I traveled 250 miles to eat cag kebab. And what I was told is they had it long time ago and they weren’t doing it now. When I asked why didn’t update their web sites, the answer was “ we don’t care and don’t have time” so unfortunates

Overall good restaurant. Some items in the menu are fantastic and some are normal. Service is fair enough but prices are a bit high compared to the quality of food. The chops were not edible at all, like if I’m eating plastic!

İskender was mid but the Adana and lamb was 10/10. Bread was cold but tea was very nice. Nice service too.

Excellent food with great customer service

We ordered lahmacun and ribs from Uber, even though I wrote a note, the lahmacun was spicy, not crispy, it was like dough, the meat in the rib was hard, tasteless and undercooked, the package was sloppy and of poor quality, I did not like it at all and was not satisfied.

Excellent and Authentic Turkish food. Meats and Kababs served fresh off the grill. Chicken Kabab and Adana kabab were juicy and flavorful. Highly recommend getting their Mix Grill Platter

Went here today. Amazing sitting and good privacy especially for my niqabi sisters. Couldn’t believe myself when I found a turkish restaurant that didn’t serve any alcohol. We ordered the mixed grill came with a few sides. The food itself was very nice. Especially loved the chicken wings and adana kebab so flavourful. However found ribs a bit stale. Overall would definitely visit again!

Fantastic food and brilliant service. I have been going to Aziziye for years, and the food is always 5-star. The servers are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu, so if you're ever stuck on what to order, be sure to ask for their recommendation. On our most recent visit, Volkan was our waiter, and he was very helpful and friendly. He gave us good recommendations on what to get, and it did not disappoint. The service he gave us was exceptional, and he was always available should we have a request, which I'm sure is a reflection of the entire waiting staff at Aziziye. There is also a mosque attached to the restaurant, which is convenient, as there are no issues with finding a place to pray. The food is also HMC halal. Will definitely be going again. P.S. They also provide high chairs for babies. They also do a lahmacun for £4, which is a good portion size, and is enough to fill you, especially for young children/teenagers.

A nice restaurant on the ground floor of Aziziye Mosque. Halal food. There are options such as soup, döner, lahmacun, kebab, pilaf and tea. The food is delicious and of high quality. There is also a grocery store and butcher here.

The dining area is superb with family privacy also being available. The taste of the food is quite decent . The price was very expensive. Be prepared to pay extra for eating in. Example of eat in price difference: take out price= £15.50 eat in price= £17.50

Early afternoon, relaxed lunch after a walk in nearby greenery. Two fab kebabs and tasty salad with an excellent waiter looking after us.

Been wanting to go to this place on recommendation of my neice.. Very cramped seating due to the cubicles which is a nice idea but not for everyone. Secondly the atmosphere was a bit dead maybe some ambient music or something. Food wise was nice nothing special to make me run back. The Jumbo platter could of done with a little more in regards to the price. The best thing I loved was that we Prayed in the mosque behind the Restaurant which was absolutely stunning. I would give Aziziye a 7/10

Great food and atmosphere. The duty manager was very accommodating. Other staff did not interact so warmly, although respectful. Perfect for families with hijab. It was quite when we went. They mistakenly mixed up our order but quickly resolved and apologised. Our second visit and we did not regret. It is under the beautiful Azizyah mosque so you can go and pray if you need to whilst your order is being prepared.

Even one star is too much for that meat doner... Give it your due, it's a shame you don't give it away for free, it's raw meat, it's not cooked.

Decent turkish food place, has a takeaway/fast food upstairs and fine dining downstairs. They have these stools where you and your family can stay in and it's closed off to an extent and then has basic seeting chairs etc. Their food is the basic good turkish food and has good free starters.

I used to be a regular here for years with my husband and always loved it but sadly it has changed. I don’t know if the waiters have changed but the customer service is abysmal, I called just now to make a booking for a large group and asked the waiter what the maximum seating capacity was (just to be sure we wouldn’t be too many). The waiter on the phone was extremely rude and blunt and hung up on me, tried to ring back a few times, he rejected my calls. Perhaps he was having a bad day but this is how the customer service has been the last few times we’ve come. It’s definitely on the more expensive side for a turkish restaurant which would have been fine given the beautiful location underneath a mosque, but sadly the poor service really ruins the experience. I can see negative reviews have been left below and instead of apologising to customers and addressing the issues, management seem to be blaming them on ‘spam accounts’, which isn’t really how you run a business guys. We won’t be coming anymore.

We went there as a group of friends to experience the traditional Turkish foods. We really liked it. For the soup we ordered Paça Soup, it was really delicious. For the main, we ordered Jumbo Platter and it was enough for 6 people. We also tried Uludag Gazoz as a drink. For the dessert, we ordered Kunefe and Turkish tea. The only thing that I did not like was the cold. I asked one of the staff to turn on the hot AC but they did not. Other than that, it was good and we would like to go there again.

Be sure to try the Lahmacun and Künefe.

Best food best restaurant and frendliy staff

I truly loved this place and will be coming again, all the waiters were very attentive and met all our needs, all staff were very polite and respectful. The interior of the restaurant was fantastic and eye catching, it set a very good mood in the atmosphere. The food was divine, it was flavoursome and very tasty, overall i loved the service and definitely will be recommending it.

Went for an iftar family of 10 food arrived on time all the meals were perfectly cooked the staff are very friendly and attentive will definitely come back again thanks again to all staff.

This is my third visit to Aziziye its Best Turkish restaurant I’ve been so far the food is always fresh friendly staff very authentic atmosphere specially i love the floor seating area makes you feel like you’re in Turkiye will definitely recommend.

I have never seen a better place than this before their foods are amazing, you want to carry on eating even though you’re full. Their customer service is very good very kind and nice, they always have a smiling face that spreads around positive energy. The atmosphere i have no words for, usual tables and seats, but you also have seats on the floor which is so comfortable and also i loved the privacy it gives. I recommend everyone to come and taste Aziziye food and see/ feel the comfort.

I can say that it is the only place in London where you can comfortably eat your meal in family rooms that are 100% halal, provide the best service with such delicious taste, a clean environment and friendly staff.

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service..

I was excited to visit Aziziye with my family this evening to break our fasting however I was left with the utmost shock with the costumer service. We were treated badly, ignored and mostly disrespected. The food was good but rip-off for the shared platter and when I called to book in they asked me to pay £120 to reserve and it’s non repay if you can’t make it- it’s ridiculous and unacceptable. I would not go there and would not recommend.

This is my second time here and I’m still blown away by the incredible food and service. I can’t recommend Aziziye enough - and special shout out to our server volkan he was amazing!

It was the most terrible experiences i have ever had. They did not serve us what we had ordered i have politely several times informed them that they have not brought our orders yet, they deliberately ignored at each time. i was not happy to pay over 100£ for 2 main course meal and 1 soup, 3 drink, even though their portion was ridiculously small. i had to force them to bring my soup indeed. They have charged me 10£ extra for my seating which was on the floor, small tucked no space and really cold. No hygiene. I spoke to the manager he was in a really rude manner didn't bother to even listen to me. And said i have to pay. AVOID THE BUSINESS. When charging for service fee legally it is not mandatory unless the customer is happy with the service, what makes you think you can do whatever you want. I am going to take this further. Hello I think it would be in your best interest to stay away from this restaurant. Because I have never seen anyone as terrible as their employees. Don't they act arrogantly and drive people crazy? A beautiful place with yummy food. We didn’t make a reservation as we made a last minute decision to go. Waiters were not impressed by this. The restaurant wasn’t even full at the time of arrival nor at departure but we were told there was only a table upstairs which we gladly took because we just wanted to eat really. The service was dead, like it was literally as though they were waiting for us to leave with death stares. We ordered chicken shish and were given lamb shish instead which we didn’t really mind. We ate quickly, packed the remainder, paid and left. We weren’t offered tea or dessert nor did we ask because of the service. Fair enough we didn’t make a reservation, we would have however preferred to have been refused instead of such mannerless service.

Beautiful traditional Turkish restaurant serving lovely fresh, hot and tasty food. The Aziziya mosque sits on top of the restaurant so no missing prayers while ordering. The restaurant has table based seating but we loved the floor based traditional seating reminded us all of our trips in Turkey eating on the floor which is islamic. The floor space is plenty but you must be used to eating on floor not for everyone. The waiters and staff were very friendly. We ordered a mix starter with different meze and dips with fresh bread and order a jumbo platter with drinks for everyone. Side and drinks very quickly and were fresh and tasty. The platter meal arrived after 30mins and was loaded with kofta kebabs, chops, meat and chicken cubes, shawarama, white and yellow rice with lots of salads, chilli and mint sauce. The food was beautifully cooked just right and not over cooked, meat melted off the bones. We loved sharing from the platters and chatting. The waiters top up sauces and tap water as required. We finished our meal with the usual turkish tea and traditional rice pudding desert lovely and creamy with lots of flavour. The price was very decent for such a large platter and the portions were plenty for six hungry men. The restaurant is on the main road and there are lots of free parking on side roads after peak restricted hours. The restaurant is spacious and lights, traditional no fancy frills but what matters is the food and service and that was 5 star. If you looking for a real traditional Turkish experience this is the place and you wont be disappointed. Look forward to visiting again!!

Nice restaurant where the waiters were friendly and polite. We ordered Pide, Donner, Iskendar kebab, and Lamb Bayti. They showed us to a family cabin to sit. However, we noticed a 10% service charge message, which felt a bit cheeky since the manager or owner, an elderly person, didn't mention it and seemed a bit unfriendly and had no smile and straight talking. Despite that, the other staff were nice and the food came out quickly.

Absolutely terrible service! We went for a birthday party and we had told tb! As we were a group of people We are bound to be a little loud And we’re told to be quiet! Then we had to ask a few times for drinks And after asking for the last time a little firmly We’re told we never ordered drinks! Well if no one takes a order for drinks how are we supposed to order them? Never going again! Oh lastly when walking out not a single person said even said bye! Or Thankyou for coming like seriously

Best food, great service and wonderful atmosphere

Very nice place to take the family. I loved the private booths, the decor and the whole ambiance is very turkish. Floor padded seats with a radiator in each booth was a very nice added bonus to the experience. Our shoe rack was broken, so only two or three shoes could go in. But i guess this is a easy fix? Food was nice, service was on point.

Ordinary Turkish cuisine. Nothing special at all. Portions are small. Chicken shish was bad. The side near the chicken shish was half tomato and a dated rice. Not a good plate at all. Soup was ordinary. Ribs are full of fat though we asked not to have much fat. Service is slow and not focused at all. After a few hours i felt really sick and still continues.

Looks great from the outside and I was expecting the usual slick service of a large Turkish restaurant but was sadly let down. We were a private party of about 50 which was nicely housed in the rear function room, but that's where the good part ends. We had a couple of waiters to serve and their food timings were terrible. Tarama, humous etc were plonked on table with a tiny bit of salad and after we sat down and eventually started eating it (with everyone saying Where's the pitta), they brought the bread up about 20 mins later when we all nearly finishing, then the meat course followed a few seconds later.. No attention to detail, no conversation while serving, just not very attentive at all. The nicest part was the cakes which were brought in by the party organisers

Our go to, we come all the time. Prices have gone up in the past year, but AS WE ALL KNOW groceries are more expensive for everyone, so I am glad they don't compromise quality to keep it cheap. Food is always amazing the masjid next door is so convenient. 5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was great, service is not bad They have some cabins where you sit on the floor and eat the traditional Turkish way, which for some reason you have to pay a 10% premium for which I thought was pretty useless Food came pretty quickly and good sized portions only complaint regarding service would be they forgot part of our order which we had to have removed from the bill at the end. Upstairs dining has very cold draught so if your upstairs your eating with your jacket on unless it's summer. Finally the toilets.... they need some attention. I hate it when I go to a restaurant and the rest rooms aren't immaculate. Would I go again probably yes I would and would recommend to others to try also.

Update: went back a couple weeks ago. Great service, lovely food. Has definitely improved. Where can I start! This place has gone down hill for the last couple years. I have tried soo many times to give them a fair chance but they are just dreadful. We decided to ordered before lock down and the food wasn't good at all. The meat was chewy, chips where undercooked, rice and bread tasted old. This is a patten in thier food. Every time I have ordered something the order isn't right or just taste old. When you go into the shop to order they are rude. No customer service at all. I then went on another occasion with a friend and our children to thier restaurant and the server was rude and unwelcoming.

Food was good although I have had much better Turkish food taste elsewhere. Service was great and specifically Seljuk’s service was even better. He thoroughly helped us with his service during our visit to this restaurant and was always a cheerful personality. Personally went here to see the mosque above the restaurant but when we reached, it was already too late and was closed. Other than that, good experience.
