Brilliant quality food and fast delivery

I came here once to have a look and decided to purchase their Aya Mix sushi which had a good variety, the guy serving was nice and friendly and even gave me a discount due to them being close to closing which was very nice - the sushi was fresh and tasty and I was very impressed with the quality, even at full price it was a great deal. I decided to come again and purchase some more, service was just as good and sushi is amazing. I can definitely recommend this place for sushi, they have a good range and the guy behind the till makes it all so you know it's fresh and expertly made.

Ok so I'm. Not an expert at sushi with limited experince. Usually the up market supermarket stuff but wow this was so tasty. Best sushi I ever had! Service was a little cold.... But when the food is that good and price so reasonable who cares... Affordable considering the clifton location.

The hot part of the order was cold by the time it arrived, the driver clearly had multiple stops and by the time it got to us (half an hour late) it was cold. Can't fault the restaurant as the food was top notch, just a shame about the slow delivery.

One of the cheapest sushi in Bristol - but the best quality!! You can feel how much effort they've put into their product - spicy salmon roll has a specific seasoned spicy salmon, instead of just putting a put of salmon. Large range of choices as well! Aya sushi is always my go-to meal

Better sushi than supermarkets and some restaurants I’ve been to. Very reasonable price. Cheaper than the poor quality Waitrose sushi.

Small place with great food. Give it a go and you won’t be disappointed.

Very affordable, tasted nice! Would like to have seen a slightly nicer environment for eat in customers... Grabbing a pre packed box and a tray to sit down isn't super appealing, but maybe they make most of their money take away / delivery. Overall, lovely! Can recommend!

Amazing sushi and friendly staff

Good sushi - used to be my favourite in the area but over the past few months the rice they use on the takeaway boxes are super dry. Not sticky rice anymore but ‘fry rice’ that falls apart as you pick up the sushi. Recommend the management take a look in to this!

This is a nice spot to grab a quick meal and sit to study. It's rarely busy and the staff are nice. I love the window bench upstairs!

lovely sushi - always a nice selection and a really nice price. staff are lovely - once we’re closed and saw us looking in and let us still buy something even though they were closed. have a nice upstairs sitting area, though you do need to pay to sit up there (20% extra) but the area is chill and clean. food is always reliably tasty.

It's good sushi. Tender rice, fresh tasting fish. I would like to see less plastic used in the packaging. The sushi is in plastic, the soy sauce and ginger come in individually wrapped plastic packets and then they offer a plastic bag to carry it in. I just can't bear to waste all that single use plastic just for lunch.

Best sushi in Bristol I LIVE for this place. So affordable so tasty great location. Darin was so knowledgeable and so kind can’t wait until the next time I eat here 10/10.

Service was really friendly and helpful. Food was VERY good I thought. Sauce on the Tuna Roll was yummy!

Ordered hot foot and was quickly delivered cold suggesting it had been sat long before the delivery driver arrived. The meat was fatty and low quality. My partner and I were both really hungry and still decided not to eat this. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Over 2 hours late, the restaurant was waiting for the delivery driver for over an hour. I would have expected them to remake my meal / keep it warm with an apology appetizer or they should have given me my money back . I had a cold room temperature soggy chicken, it would have been nice warm.

Food - fresh & simple but the rice had too much vinegar and the sauce was SO SALTY. I have a high salt-tolerance and this burned my mouth. Maybe off batch of rice/sauce? Service - awful. I work down the street in a shop. I would frequent this place if they’d even said hello. I tried to interact cheerfully with the server and he completely ignored me. No smile, nada. Customer service jobs suck but we all have the opportunity to make the world a bit better one tiny human interaction at a time. Probably won’t return.

Popped in to get lunch 3 times now. Completely average sushi, nothing special. Asked nicely each time if they can stock gluten free soy sauce as it makes my lunch way easier being coeliac. Guy in store seems completely apathetic to allergens and customer service. Can’t see this business making money, I’ll go back to the chains

Shockingly good price for central bristol, I love getting good sushi and eating it at nearby parks.

A bit pricey, but understandable considering its location. The were there around lunch time and the sushi was very fresh.

Sushi here is ok, better than itzu, make sure to pick one that was packaged the same day

Just moved back from Japan and whenever I get sushi in the UK the rice is dry and the fish isn't fresh, however, Aya Sushi bucks that trend. Great selection, decent rice and the fish is seemingly fresh. Will definitely go back in the future

Im going to find it hard to go back to wasabi after this.. I liked how fresh the fish was. rice was well seasoned and cooked just right. I really enjoyed the sushi

This is the best sushi in UK. I come in here so regularly and i love it. The guys Douglas and Antonio are excellent. I 1000% recommend this sushi.

Not sure what’s up with all these mean reviews. I got some veggie sushi which was fresh and delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Overall nice to find veggie sushi that isn’t just maki!

A lovely little sushi shop, with high quality and fresh food. A relatively simple selection which could probably do with some more vegetarian options, but it’s great other than that!! Also, I’d love to see some more decorations, plants and perhaps some calming Japanese music. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

There is a small selection of sushi available as some other reviewers have mentioned, but it is excellent. Might be the best sushi I've ever had.

Sushi was really good - fresh, good flavours and texture. Amazing value for money overall. Gyozas were as expected, nothing special. Katsu curry? Terrible. Worst I've had. Seems others agree - such a shame as it's easy to make. Very bitter, sour, and too thick. Go back to the drawing board with the katsu, and this place is a winner!

Excellent valve And really enjoyed it. The rice bowls are really filling.

It’s the worst Katsu curry I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had many! Barely any sauce, the sauce I did have tasted weird and was very thick and burnt. The chicken wasn’t crispy, it was rubbery. I’ll be staying very far away from this place I’m afraid!

Very delicious! The hoisin duck was very succulent, the rice was sticky perfection. Prawn gyoza were incredible. Loved the seaweed salad! Looking forward to sushi for lunch :)

I just bought the Chicken Katsu(japanese curry, Fried chicken)6.5pounds, and the Larger Plater(salmon avo)10.90pounds. The curry that I tasted is sour like lemon put into the curry sauce, taste like shxt. Suppose to be tasted like sweet and spicy. The salmon taste like super creamy. Hope people after reading this, do not try it if you still want.

Great sushi at good prices. There's a big selection of sashimi, nigiri, seaweed salad etc. I think that other reviewer must have gone on an off day. Really nice new addition to food around Uni.

Comically simple selection, you can get 2x more variety from the sushi stand at ASDA than here. I have no idea how this place will stay in business unless it changes it business model. Don't believe the 5 star reviews. These people probably would give 5 stars to public toilets at a rave.

Absolutely amazing sushi. Best I have had in a while, very flavourful and not just packed with rice like other places. Highly recommend 👌
