Played tennis in their beautiful court and gardens. Such a lovely place and such nice people. Would definitely recommend for sure. 😊

Stayed at this Fabulous Country House Hotel 8th to 15 October. Upon arrival was warmly welcomed by Paul the owner who gave information about the hotel. He kindly carried my luggage to my very spacious bedroom which had a king size and single bed in. It had lovely views across the beautifully manicured gardens. The well stocked bar was open from 6.30pm for pre dinner drinks. Paul was immaculately dressed in his dickie bow tie behind the bar. At 7pm daily, dinner was served in the restaurant again looking out over the garden. Dinner choices had to be pre booked in reception in the morning which wasn't a problem. All the food was cooked by Bernice, Paul's lovely wife. She is an amazing cook, better than some Michelin Star Chefs. The daily choices were very varied and cooked to perfection and served hot by the very professional Paul. These were the best meals that I have ever tasted anywhere. Bernice has a fabulous talent. It was fine dinning at its very very best. The ambience in the restaurant was relaxed and the service and food were impeccable. Coffee and mints were served in the bar or lounge afterwards. The breakfast didnt disappoint either, plenty of choice and shear perfection. The gardens were stunning and very well maintained all by Paul his self. There was a tennis court and pool table should guests wish to participate. Parking was plentifull. The location of the hotel was quiet however central for visiting scenic places by car all within 35 minutes drive and 20 minutes walk to the beach. I would definately return and recomend this amazing hotel as it certainly has the WOW factor. Thank you to the very hard working Paul and Bernice for your generous and much appreciated hospitality.

Hidden at the back of a bin filled alley, this is a perfect spot to get some time back away from the bustle of the sea front. Super ale straight out the keg!

Wonderful fish and chips. Only realised why Nettles on the way home in the car. As well as a superb fish and chip shop it’s a dr who museum, great for the kids to visit and fun while waiting. We had the works last night and the food was superb. On the train back to london and telling all my friends about Cornwall fish and chips. Thanks Dr, beautiful food and chat. Great value too

Enjoyed homemade Mediterranean quiche and then afterwards we had cream tea with lattes. The hosts give top customer service. The dogs got given lots of dog biscuits shaped as bones so they were happy.
