Avanti Chiswick in Ealing

La ubicación era genial, sin embargo, la comida era muy promedio en 5 / 6 tapas diferentes, la pizza podría haber sido mejor, pero no lo probamos. La factura llegó a 80 libras con 5-6 tapas y 2 Apperol Spritz. Great food! We were treating our elderly Nan and the food was wonderful The evening however was ruined by being rushed out at the end. Our table was at 7pm and we finished mains around 8:15pm We chose not to have deserts and the waitress asked if we could leave as there was a family waiting. That was OK BUT a few minutes later as we finished our wine a young man in attendance came over and said ‘you must leave now’. Completely unnecessary and ruined the evening as we weee only 1 hour and 20 minutes at the table and felt we had to rush our wine What a shame given how good the food was This restaurant must educate the young staff in terms of manners to guests. Our bill was over £220 so we expected some decorum

Fantastic food!! A lovely quiet, quaint restaurant just off the high road. Relaxed, chilled and a place you can enjoy the tapas and a few bottles of wine.. Highly recommend the paella and tortilla. They lost one point (so 4 star not 5) as the toilet really was a disgrace. Sorry, but we all (especially females) said how horrible it was.

I go to Avanti quite often. Mostly I go there with my husband and various friends. The food is generally very good and there is often a lively ambiance. One of my friends is a vegetarian and he loves that there are so many choices for him on the menu. I have a few things that I think need improvement - if you're sitting inside, you constantly hear the phone or computer making noise - I think it's deliveroo orders coming in - it is irritating and distracting. I also think they could do a much better job with keeping the toilets clean - I was appalled at the state of the toilets last time I was there.

We enjoyed a lovely evening here having ordered a choice of tapas dishes from their extensive choice. The interior is small with approx 20 covers inside enjoying a great rustic decor with a lovely homely feel . Good service and friendly helpful staff. Recommended

It no doubt differs between clients but for me about 30% of the restaurant experience is the atmosphere and quality of service. We had 2 waiters this evening, one was very considerate and full of empathy and the other was not. The latter gave the appearance of not having had a shower for a fortnight. I appreciate that, on the accommodation available to staff on London service wages, access to a shower may not be easy. Neverthless hygienene is surely part of the job requirement. Unfortunately we were allocated a table where my chair and back were adjacent to a frequently-opened door for clients and takeaway. When I requested that the staff close the door positively the reply was that it closes itself! True but slowly.

Ate here last pm just delicious,lovely cosy atmosphere,lovely staff,the patats bravas mabye not the best we have had that being the only negative will return

Food was amazing service was great although we order a jug of sangria for 26£ that turned out to be exactly 2 glasses where as if we had ordered 2 glasses of sangria it would have cost us 14£ that was very strange and when we spoke to the server didn’t know how to explain it and offered to get the manager but we didn’t want to get in to it . That been said jug of sangria not worth it other then that was a good experience

We ate here twice during our 3-day stay in Chiswick. We found the High Road in Chiswick to be unpleasant and loud, and Avanti is on a quiet road near a park a few blocks north of the High Road. The food is good and an interesting mix of Spanish and Italian. We both had pizzas and salad the first night, which were excellent. The second night we thought of trying something new but broke down and couldn't resist the pizza again. The gentleman that served us (the owner maybe?) was very pleasant and came by to talk to us. We sat in the covered area with twinkly lights in front of the bistro, which has a heater for chilly evenings. It was very cozy. We weren't crazy about Chiswick and will probably stay somewhere else next time we're visiting London, but would otherwise go back to Avanti.

Ver friendly and attentive service with a wide array of veg and meat options. Great quality food as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Certainly worth it.

We eat at Avanti regularly, the staff are great with kids and the food and service are excellent! The grilled sardines and calamari are a hit with my 7 year old and husband and I love the pizza

I had read the reviews and was looking forward to the dinner. Unfortunately I was sadly disappointed. The waitress took the order incorrectly, the food was brough out as made so two of use had our mains before the starters arrived. My food also lacked a good flavour.

A wonderful place. It's relatively small but coped with our lunchtime group of 12 with no problem and with room for probably 12 or so other diners inside. Outside in the sheltered and heated terrace there is room for loads more. Our group has tapas and pizza which generated universal approval. My wife and I had 4 tapas between us which more than provided a filling lunch - the portions are generous. Together with 2 beers and service the bill was a very reasonable £42 There is a huge variety of tapas, all really tasty, and served very rapidly. All in all well worth a visit. Our only regret is that we don't live in the area to make better use of this gem. (I have seen another review from March 23 dissatisfied with the tapas. I can't imagine how they came to this conclusion. Do they not like fish and then do something like order whitebait?)

I can’t express enough how disappointed I was with this restaurant. We had a few tapas dishes and a paella to share. Tapas included fish balls, which were probably the best part of the meal. The wine was ok too. We had patatas bravas, which were just fried potatoes with a really plain sauce. I could have (and often do) make much better versions at home. The paella had chorizo which usually has a very strong flavour, so how could they go wrong? By sucking out all the flavour of course. I don’t know how they did it, maybe it was overcooked or soaked into some plain tasting sauce, but there was basically no sensation on my tongue. We chose not to have dessert and just got the bill and left. It was quite cheap at least.

I recently ate here with colleagues visiting from Sweden and we were all very pleased with our find. The restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing and the servers extremely friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of gluten free options and the tapas was amazing!!! The portions are quite big so I’d recommend ordering a couple for one person and ordering more if required as there isn’t a long wait for food to come through out. I’d definitely visit again if in the area!

Apart from a disappointing takeaway during one of the lockdowns, Avanti has never really figured on our list of local places to eat - our mistake . Good service, great tapas (except the squid) and very good pizzas and paellas. Decent house wine -reasonably priced. We’ve been three times in the last month to meet friends etc without breaking the bank (which is easily done in the area)

This place has one of the best food we’ve had in London on our journey so far. The cheese croquette and meatballs are very delicious. We had the arroz negra for mains and it was quite an experience. I would definitely order them again.. The most memorable thing, though, must be the service. Our young server Mohammed was absolutely friendly, helpful, and very accommodating from the start. We could only get a table outside so he made sure it was warm. He was very good with our two young children. He has a great sense of service and sense of humour, and went to extra lengths that we were happy. Great guy. Fantastic place. I would recommend it highly.

We took friends out for an early dinner. Service was excellent rhroughout, with Muhammed looking after us superbly throughout the evening, with good suggestions and a sense of fun while not being intrusive. The theme is somewhat spanish with a variety of small plates, such as grilled peppers, hams, cheeses, croquettes, a nice selection of wines. We enjoyed our evening, were well hosted and fed.

This place is absolutely brilliant, fresh food always and a great ambience. Thank you to the staff especially Omar who goes above and beyond to cater for our needs.

Came for lunch with another couple. Beautiful ambience inside and on outdoor patio - we ate outdoors, it was fully covered from sun and very spacious. Service was prompt and courteous. We ordered an assortment of tapas - the roasted peppers and grape leaves (both vegetarian), and salads were all excellent. Our only regret is that we discovered this place on our last full day in town, but will look forward to returning.
