Service was great and server was very apologetic. Food was severely over cooked. To the point had to give up on eating it. Had to ask for a steak knife to cut the chicken. Ordered a medium steak and best way to describe it was like leather. Pudding was good. Just disappointing. They did reduce our bill to compensate but really felt that was a token gesture as an inedible piece of chicken and steak reducing each by £3 was bit of a slap to the face.

Tobermory has some great restaurants for people who eat fish, but vegetarians are less well served. On the day we visited, the Auld Mull offered very good vegetarian lasagne and a range of vegetarian pizzas. Friendly service too.Fans of the CBeebies programme Balamory will be excited to find that the restaurant is in Josie Jump's house. And there are great views along the short walk up to the Auld Mull from the town centre.

We went for a day trip to Tobermory. The bar is off the main strip with a bit of a climb well worth it. The place is so friendly and reasonably priced

Wir waren mit 4 Personen zum Abendessen hier. Die beiden Double- Burger waren schön arrangiert, ausreichend groß und haben wohl gut geschmeckt. Die Portion Fish and Chips war Durchschnitt. Die Scampis mit Chips waren eine Enttäuschung, sowohl vom Geschmack, insbesondere aber von der Portionsgröße. Dick mit Teig ummantelte Scampi, bei max. 50 Gramm Scampi, das geht gar nicht.Ergänzt von einem zu warmen Bier kann ich dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

Very casual place. Food was great. I had the Jalapeño smash burger and the Korean BBQ wings. Burger is simple, not massive, but really well cooked. So many places manage to destroy burgers these days by trying to be too fancy or do massive over the top burgers. This place seems to just seems to nail a decent simple burger and it works! The wings were decent, good amount of meat, cooked well, nice sticky Korean BBQ sauce. The ice cream to finish is worth it too! And the best part was this place is very well priced! Very good value!

Hunters Quay Holiday VillageWhat an earth has happened to this restaurant. 45 mins for first drink then half a bowl of soup, 2 little slices garlic bread £3.95. Main meal 1 was missed other one went back because of allergy which waiter was told of kitchen then scraped sauce off which was useless when it came back other meal was stone cold. In total over 2 hours for a restaurant half empty manager was told said he was "new" which he told us 6 weeks ago when our meal was an even worse disaster. Thought we would give them a chance whoever chef is needs replaced such a shame was a great place at one time heard loads of complaints from other people definitely wont be back

Main StreetBooked a dog friendly room at the Mishnish. Once the booking was CONFIRMED by them by email we proceeded to book onward accommodation & ferries. 48 hours later we were emailed again by the Mishnish cancelling our booking, saying they had no dog friendly rooms. A phone call to the MIshnish resulted in them offering us a dog friendly room, which they had available, AT EXACTLY DOUBLE THE PRICE OF OUR ORIGINAL BOOKING. (Was left wondering if this was a regular thing as there was no surprise on their part, no explanation or apology, and no offer to negotiate on price ....) I'm not quick to leave negative reviews, if ever, but I really wouldn't want anyone else to find themselves in this position. I tried to provide the Mishnish with an opportunity to sort out this problem but was met with a stony silence, they had the means to assist but no interest.
