Excellent food restraunt quality at cafe prices. The owner came out to take our order & check that folk were happy with everything! Just be careful of the £2 per person surcharge for dining after 430pm, not well publicised, just added to bill. Still good value, tho! X

Auction Eats has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with an extensive menu from breakfasts through Italian cuisine to good steak and fish options. Families and dogs are welcome. Portions are hearty and good quality. Their cake options are very tempting too. Highly recommended.

Was going for a takeaway butty but decided to eat in, busy but a couple of tables free. Ordered 2 breakfast and brews which came out quickly everything was hot even the plates. We will be returning and the girls serving where very polite

Decided to come here as a treat for my daughter before she went back off to uni. We were a party of 4: 2 adults and 2 children. Can't fault the food or service at all, they were top notch and the value was superb (1x garlic bread side, 2x pizzas, 1x lamb hotpot and 1x prawn pasta dish and 4 non alcoholic drinks for £56). However, I did feel we were cramped in a bit, with four of us sat around a circular table which was situated right by the entrance. Every time someone came and went, we had an icy blast of air engulf us and people shuffling past, hence the 4 star rating. Despite this, it wouldn't put us off, I'd definitely visit again, but most likely in summer. I like the variety of food and it was all delicious. We didn't try the cakes, but they did all look amazing, I'll definitely try those next time.

Had a great night and was lucky enough to enjoy T bone from the specials that was cooked to perfection. My wife had fillet that was excellent too.

Takeaway (lunchtime). This cafe is always busy & has been recently extended but still packed. If you want a table get there early! It’s a bit of an odd location but don’t be put off by that, it’s worth searching out. It closes in the afternoon & then opens up later as an Italian takeaway. Beef & onion barm & chips, really nice & tasty. It’s great value too.

Wow! Not been for a while and first visit for my friend. Fab service. Food - so much to choose from. Mixed fish special - the best and tastiest meal I have had in a long time. Friend chose pasta and kept saying how good it was too. Garlic bread - half tomato half normal - would have been happy even with just this it was so good. Could have had so many things off the normal and specials menu. Very reasonable prices too including alcohol. Nothing to fault here. Can’t wait to do again.

Visited for the first time last night with a group of friends some of which had been before, I have to say I could not find fault with any of the food we ordered, (we did pre order as a large group) everything was served hot and plentyful, the team serving us were attentive and helpful. We will definitely return soon.

I've been waiting a while to try this place, it is just slightly too far from home to be convenient for take away, but going off the reviews seemed worth it. I'm fairly sure pizza runs through my veins, I have had the best of the best in Sorrento, and the worst (oddly enough in Pompeii). Pizza express are good at what they do, consistently, so for a chain pretty good. I would definitely consider myself a pizza aficionado. So sadly I was really quite disappointed by the pizzas and garlic bread that we got from Auction Eats last Friday (22/9/23). I'd read quite a few reviews stating that the pizza bases were doughy, or underdone, or undercooked, or soft. Unfortunately all three of ours were the same. There was no crunch to the crust at all, it was just soft, the underside of the base was not at all golden (or as would be normal from a pizza oven, a little charred in places). I put mine in the oven for 10 mins at 200⁰, but it didn't really help. The toppings were tasty enough, and there was enough topping. But a decent base for a pizza is essential. These three were not decent I'm afraid. So dispute the relatively cheap price, we won't be getting pizza again from there as there are two other local options which are far superior (Guy's Court and Dante's). We are booked at Auction Eats to dine in in a few days, so we will avoid the pizza (which would be my choice really) and try something else. Fingers crossed. But sorry Auction Eats, there's enough reviews out there saying the same. Maybe turn the oven up? Or leave them in a bit longer, the toppings weren't browned either.

Excellent restaurant. Delicious food, friendly staff, great prices! Highly recommend, we went twice in one weekend. Garstang's best kep secret. You must go, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful sandwiches excellent service

Lunch visit. Cafe very busy at 12pm, if you want a seat inside get there early! Lots of seating outside. I had Brie & bacon wrap with chips £7.80, great value & good sized portion. All very good indeed. The young lady on the till wasn’t particularly engaging, but serving staff excellent.

Food excellent, staff excellent. Shame about the singer, to loud without amplification, so when he then set up his microphone and amp, sorry couldn't get out quick enough. Won't be going back, which is a shame because the food was really excellent

The pricing and portion sizes WOULD have been very good IF they cooked the food properly , we got 3 large breakfast the eggs where poached to save time instead of frying them , my eggs where rock hard any English breakfast is all ways freid eggs plus when you get two as we did there's bound to be a least one properly cooked so can dip your toast in , the sausage where under cooked so up now I left both eggs and 1 half sausages, the bacon WASN'T freid either it had been done in press as you could see grill markings , three peaces of bacon two as good as burnt , small ish round tomato under cooked it should have sliced in two and freid, the black pudding AGAIN under cooked so I left them two slices AS WELL, the toast was ok BUT only 1 slice , the mushrooms were ok BUT AGAIN NOT FREID , the best thing they cooked where the HASH BROWNS and the coffee was decent, I wish I took a photograph on my phone

Havnt been here for a while …. Like the new look. Food very good not disappointed. Only grumble the place was buzzing which is great but collection of a takeaway very clunky had to join a huge que ordering so by the time I got to the counter my food had been waiting for collecting a lot longer than it should . Lots of staff but I suggest a different que for good collection.

Birthday tea for my hubby after a tough couple of weeks. Looooove auction eats. Take our dogs for walks and have breakfast which is 2nd to none. Lunch great and decided to try dinner. Nightmare to get booked at night esp in weekend - speaks volumes! Service ( as always) is excellent, friendly atmosphere and the food was great. A little hidden gem and a comfort zone x

Stick to pizza or pasta as I Ordered the sirloin steak to be cooked, medium came well done almost burnt hidden by the sauce 😬

I think this is the first 5 star review I've given for an eatery but as so many other people have already given 5 it must be right. The food was just that bit better than your ordinary and the price was just that little bit less. To be honest the only thing I could complain about was finding the place, it was hidden away without an obvious sign from the car. Maybe that's for the best 😁

NOTHING BEATS AUCTION EATS you can probably tell by my name that I might know a thing or two about Italian food. This place serves genuine Italian food alongside a great British menu. Quirky is how I’d describe the setting and cafe. We were served by pleasant attentive staff, order the food at the counter and they bring it to your table. They were busy when we were there but the service was swift. We both enjoyed our meal and the prices are extremely reasonable - sirloin steak n chips for example at £11.00. We will definitely return.

11 of us met for a Thursday evening meal. The food, service and value were all excellent. Specials board included 7 different fish dishes, together with steaks and a full range of pizzas. Well worth a visit if you are in the Garstang area. Open Thursday -Sunday evening and for breakfast Tuesday -Sunday.

Staff poorly trained. This is the 2nd time we visited. Left standing around with no interaction from any staff member. Plenty of staff and not all busy. However, food was excellent. Best using takeaway. However, will still have to wait for any acknowledgement of being there!

Had a sausage, egg and bacon on toast from here this morning. Possibly the worst sandwich I have ever had. The toast looked like it hadn.t been within three feet of a toaster, egg was like rubber and the sausage were undercooked. The only saving grace was the bacon, there wasn't much of it but is was well cooked and really tasty, saved it from being a one star.

Well guys what can I say stumbled on this place by chance and glad I did just a short drive from the m6 the staff are very friendly and even brings your food to the car for you service with a smile food top class very cheap and excellent service keep up the good will definitely be calling again so if anyone in the area and fancy a bite to eat you need to try this out place out you won't be disappointed top marks

Quirky cafe which is simple but superb! I have dined in at both lunchtime and evening and also used their takeaway service. Great quality dishes at a fair price. The Italian dishes are authentic, the Moretti beer on draft is super, and there is always great service. One of the best places around the Garstang area.

Amazing place for a takeaway if you are staying in the area. We have tried a few times while staying with friends and I definitely recommend. Quick and easy collection available with plenty of parking.

Been for breakfast on a Sunday, terrific food! I've never seen staff work so hard. It gets busy and there's a reason for that, it's too good to miss. The girls there aren't even fazed when a dozen of us turn up at once. Always look forward to it. Can't praise 'em enough.

Outstanding food and service and attention to detail ie tea cup warm when its brought to you so when you fill it with tea it's nice and hot,quality sauce for your butty and immaculately clean couldn't praise it enough, I keep telling everyone should try it.

First visit here was coming out of lockdown and outdoor eating was the only option. My husband had heard good things about Auction eats so we actually had a drive there to check the place out. It's like a hidden gem and not what I expected, having said that, it's a Fantastic place. Very popular but that's because it's superb . Recommended for a Sunday breakfast but get there early, it gets busy.... A week later and we came back for dinner. I had lobster ravioli and my husband had bolgenese. Both where amazing.. Superb UPDATE :Returned again May '22 and happy to say its still just as brilliant. We got takeaway but eating in was full as usual. It's only small but boy is this place top notch. If they ever expand it will still be full every night because what they do and how they do it just works.. Most important of all DELICIOUS FOOD!! UPDATE 2 ... Feb 26th 2023.. Takeaway again and I tried a different dish this time ... Chicken and Mushroom Risotto..oh my days !!!! Literally the best Risotto ever . perfect perfect perfect...this place is an absolute gem

Very busy Wednesday lunch time, people waiting for tables! I had Brie & bacon wrap with chips, only £7.80, really nice & good portion. For less than £8 it’s hard to fault. Staff friendly too. Do good business on takeaways. Dog friendly too.

Popped in here for for an early evening meal with my family. The food is absolutely superb and the staff are wonderful. You do need to book and there is usually a 2-hour limit at your table as It gets quite busy, but it's worth it.

Watching the football with friends, ordered pizza on line. All ready pretty much on time, excellent pizza & good service as well. Recommended.

We do not stay in the area and were recommended “Auction Eats” by another Restaurant. In the Evening this place is a gem! If you want very good Italian food, at a very reasonable price, then this is the place to go in the area. Just to explain how the Restaurant works. If you go on to their website it can look like they only do “Takeaway”. However, the price in the restraint is the same price as the Take Away menu and they add £2 per person to sit in. So if you go in and sit in the restaurant and all you order is Lasagne, your total bill will be £8.50. (£6.50 + £2.00) If you have a The service is excellent. It is not an easy place to find. But in one respect this is excellent as I do not want it to be too busy the next time we go to this restaurant.

Brilliant from English breakfasts to lunchtime cafe menu to authentic Italian Bistro and takeaway in the evenings. Share a garlic bread and have a risotto, doesn't break the bank and very tasty food.
