NEVER OPEN!!! It’s kinda getting ridiculous when all I’ve been craving is some food from this place but they are never open even when the website says they are! Getting ridiculous if you can’t run a business just find someone else that can instead of me wasting trips walking over and it not even being open

Very Good fish, chips a bit limp but ok, staff friendly Prices £6.20 for standard cod and chips but good portions.

My husband and I always get first class fish & chips here. The food is cooked while you wait and we wouldn't go any where else!

Unfortunately the Atlantic village has reduced its hours. The reason I have put 2 star is because on their door it states open till 9pm on Saturday, I went on a Saturday and they were already closed by 8pm, even though there were people inside, they wouldn’t even look at me to acknowledge me at all!! Not on. Shame really because I doubt I will go back there now as it’s too unreliable if they will be open 🙁

Red in the middle of burger should not have pink inside your burger disappointed and will be worse that disappointed if I'm unwell tomorrow.

Not sure this actually deserves even a one star if im honest🥴! Overall very disappointed, the best part was a pickled egg. 2 battered sausages which were extremely dry and the batter was just so hard. The chips had salt on them and were extremely bland and 95% of them were hard. Our gravy was microwaved in-front of us, felt like we weren’t even good enough to make fresh gravy for. Portion sizes are just a bit of a joke, we’re extremely disappointed and sadly would never recommend this place to anyone. The lady who served was a sweetheart, so kind & could see she hadn’t done this for a long time.

Skin all over chips no where on menu does it says skin on chips

Burger was lovely but I’m really not a fan or skin on chips from the chip shop. Just seems weird. Recommend it to anyone, good scran , good portions

Well that was an experience. Would be helpful if the staff listened to the question and not just reply with yes. Do the bergers come with chips? 'yes' was the reply. At £5.20 I would think so. No mention on the menu hence the question, however it does say upgrade to medium chips and a drink for an additional fee. So from my original question I would then assume they come with small chips. Oh how wrong was I. I wish you all the best in these trying times, but for £5.20 for a burger. I tied you failed McDs it is next time. Also looks like I'm going hungry, I like living....

Shocked at some of the reviews I read on here, they do not give a proper reflection of the shop. It's not the cheapest fish and chip shop, but I use it pretty often and can say the food is always cooked fresh and well. I would recommend to anyone and argue the chips are the best in town!

Terrible experience, ordered my food, the two young ladies running the shop that evening seemed a little inexperienced, which showed after giving part of my order to a customer served after me whilst making me wait while having to cook the missing part of my order, she really didn't understand what was going on, I ordered a large battered sausage and a large plain sausage and large chips, I had x2 small sausages as they didn't have any plain large sausages despite making me wait to redo the large plain sausage which was then battered while I waited, but didn't have any?? I was told its the same despite not telling me when I ordered they didn't have what I ordered and needed to subsitute. Another customer while I was waiting asked for haddock which she replied, sorry we don't do haddock despite it being on the menu just below the cod on the menu board, When I asked why it had gone so wrong with my order she did not understand what I was asking her. The chips in the photo are a large which really aren't. I would recommend going elsewhere to spend your hard earned cash.

Having not used this chip shop for years I thought I'd give it another go . Wish I didn't Not nice fish had black burnt bits on it.fish looked like it's been battered with hammer so thin. For 9.50 it's expensive and not worth the money . Back to the sea salt for me

The worst fish and chips I've had. The tiniest piece of fish ,the thinest coating of batter which had obviously been hanging around for hours - despite the server saying it had been there for 10 minutes (and I'm certain she said to a colleague don't touch that it been there ages - when serving another customer). For £7.50 I was expecting much better. Used to be good - not ever going back. Poor.

I bought a 6 oz burger with all the works was not happy because they chopped up like I was a child or something I have burning mouth syndrome so shouldn't be struggling to pick my food up with a fork a burger you pick up with your hands

Popped in here on the way home, gotta say piss poor chips nearly broke my teeth on them, I’m guessing they have been reheated but more than once, chips are in the best place now 😁 the bin

Appalling portion size and what you do get sucks!! Avoid!!

Up until December 2020, the chips were really nice. Since then, the quality and the taste has gone down hill. The chips are either Dark Brown and soggy, or light golden Brown and rock hard. This chip shop really needs to investigate why this is happening, and why they think it is acceptable to serve and charge their customers for sub standard tasteless chips. Also, their chips aren't the cheapest around either! There's not much hope for a chip shop, when they can't cook chips properly

£4.30 for this ‘cheesy chips’. Small, dry and barely any cheese. Not what I expect.

Had a portion of fish and chips have to say great chips cooked the way I like them.

Had a sausage and chips from from there. Sausage was cold and disgusting. Obviously reheated. Now been diagnosed with food poisoning by NHS a day later.

We went for just some chips and they where that soggy that they went though the bag in 5 mins, most where undercooked.

No proper queuing system, everyone just standing around , one person in at a time which i can understand. Then they tried to shout who's orders where ready with the door shut , you couldn't hear, people were arguing , food was under cooked and expensive, no organization at all

This used to be my favourite burger place in WSM, but it's now vile - the food we ordered was burned, beyond greasy with very old oil, things that were supposed to have sauces, didn't, parts were missing from the order and it was borderline inedible. Such a disappointment from a once great place to eat.

Food delivered on time piping hot

I ordered my food via deliveroo for the first time and they turned up on time. Ordered cod and chips, with delivery it came to just over £14. Bloody extortionate, cod was bland, chips were not cooked properly. A very forgettable meal. I only paid that much because I was absolutely famished and it was getting late. I will not be using this takeaway or deliveroo ever again. Honestly..... £14.00.

Been here a few times, but recently ordered via ubereats. They missed off half the order so I rung to complain, they tell me there's nothing they can do. I have to get a partial refund via uber. I can always reorder, meaning I pay service charge and delivery fee again. No apologies or even sounding like they cared in the slightest. Won't be going back or recommending again.

Ordered chicken nuggets and chips, the nuggets were good but the chips were shocking. They were all bland, black and discoloured, clearly from the day before. Will not be ordering from here again. Disgusting.

Visit here very often as it's a quick fix for me for food after a long day at work....great service /food and always feel welcomed.

I Asked for a item that was not on the menu and they kindly made this specially for me . It Was dilliciouse and would recommend 100% Finally a decent fish and chipshop with exceptional customer service .

Went on a Monday where they do burgers deals at half price. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The burgers were delicious. Great quality and great value.
