Disgusting and undercooked. Very worrying when a chip shop can’t even cook chips properly. Greasy, undercooked, mushy, foul.

Well this place changed for the worse, terrible food and £8.50 for mini fish and chips £8.50 for kebab meat and chips in small tray. Go somewhere else £5.50 for mini fish chips sos at georges glascote, and the food tastes 100 times better.

The worst Chippy that I’ve ever been to. They are happy to sell you chips that have been there for a long time that are totally dried out and should be thrown away. Very poor quality. That is at 7.30-8pm at night not just before they close.

Lovely chippy! We travel from Wilnecote so about 15 mins or so as they do the best gluten free chippy meal in my eyes. The cod is always beautiful and a lovely batter. I’ll continue travelling here for my chippy fix 😊 nice staff too. Thanks again all. X

Massively and I really mean this….massively over priced!!! £5.00 for a mini meat and chips “special” in a burger carton!!!! I refused to pay it so had some bang average chips for £2.50 instead! I can only assume they got leasing kwarteng to do the pricing up! Cheaper to go for an actual meal at the pub next door!!!!!

None of the food was ready to be served. There was a 20 minute wait with multiple staff working people were made late on their lunch breaks at work due to no preparation. They said 1 minute wait but 20 minutes later

I think the chippy is well over priced and was below avrage The pop in the fridge was warm only giving 1 star as that's the only way to leave a rateing

Lovely food shame they can't get your order right

Recent experience, the chips could have done with being cooked longer, struggled to get them out of the bag as they were stuck to the paper. Both mini fishes were a pathetic size over cooked and dry. Peas and curry sauce were nice.

Since Christmas I have been coming into this shop the food is amazing and the girls that serve are hard workers as you can see when you walk in, there seemed to be no arguing nothing they all worked as a team but I came in last night like the last few weeks and there was a young tall lad in I’ve never seen him before and assume he’s either new or has come back after being off what ever the reason is it doesn’t matter what does matter is that there seemed to be a lot of tension with the servers and it seemed to be coming from him, from what I heard he was kinda bossing the two girls around and even though the girls didn’t show it but you would be annoyed if that was happening to you when you have had weeks of smooth working. As I was waiting for my order I was watching them work and it just didn’t seem as smooth as it has been the tall lad also seemed to be walking around like he owned the place and you could see he clearly wasn’t a manger of any kind

Having recently visited the Atlantic fish bar I thought I would write a review. I visited on Thursday 17th and although the food was lovely, I did find the staff a little rude.

Excellent family run fish and chip shop. The food is wonderful, especially the Gyros and kebab meat. Highly recommended. Can be very busy so waiting outside if you haven't previously ordered is the system in place. Only 2 customers in the shop at one time. Plenty of staff to get the orders completed.

Just seen the review below and I’m the lad that’s just walked out. Total agreement with the other person, this used to be a great chip shop but now it’s terrible. They got my order wrong last week too and although there’s a couple of nice people who work there I absolutely agree that the older guy with the beard is full on rude, un-welcoming and obviously doesn’t care about losing custom on a Saturday evening. No meat on a Saturday night at 7:20pm with more than 2 hours opening hours still to go and no intention of putting anymore on or actually making sure you’ve pre-planned for the other one getting low!? Add to that the attitude I get every time I go in there when that joker is on and that’s exactly why I won’t be using this place anymore. When Shaun used to run the place it was fantastic and the service was second to none. My advice? Head over to Oceans Chip Shop in Belgrave where Shaun has set himself up and you’ll see a world of difference in quality, honest welcoming service and a menu that blows anyone else out the water. Shame on you Atlantic 👎🏻👎🏻

What a joke this place has become. It used to be one of the best chip shops in Tamworth but since the new owners have took over it’s become awful. The chips are quite often overcooked to the point you end up picking the best ones out and throwing a load. Twice I’ve got home to find they’ve missed parts of the order too and the kebab meat has changed back from the full 100% lamb which had taste to the cheap stuff that you can get anywhere. The young guy with the beard is friendly but the guy in his 40’s with the beard is rude and constantly looks like he hates being there. He never smiles, welcomes you or pays you any eye contact when you ask a question and struts round like he’s some hard man when in reality he’s absolutely nothing close to what he thinks he is. Saturday evening at 7:30pm which you’d expect is the busiest time of the week and a couple has just walked out when they were told there was no chicken meat and then after a lad asks for a chicken kebab and is refused also so asked for a normal kebab and was told there wasn’t enough meat with the bloke not even paying him any eye contact and just shook his head when asked and carried on cooking chips. The lad then asked if they would be able to put more meat on and even asked what time they closed as I could see he was confused why they hadn’t got food on the spit on a Saturday evening and was told they shut at 9:30pm and the meat wouldn’t be cooked in time. That’s 2 hours!?? He ended up walking out and I could tell he was annoyed with how he’d been treated. I nearly walked out myself but haven’t got my car to get to another chip shop! To be honest these owners deserve to go under and I for one won’t be coming here any longer as fed up with the quality and service. Poor show.

Was going to go get a chippy last night at 9pm got there and it was closed.. I googled opening times and it said 9:30pm for closing.. it was only 9pm that I went! I was gutted

Atlantic fish bar is far the best chip shop in Tamworth, food is divine never had a problem with my order, food is always fresh, customer service is second to nothing all staff are friendly and welcoming to the shop, id highly recommend this shop to anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of tasting there food

Great food and excellent staff. Eat here for lunch a few times a week. The fish is excellent. Would recommend this place highly. Great job guys and the new look suits you maybe your shirts should say the name of the shop but that's my only complaint

Best fish and chips by far, always hot very friendly staff, fair price. Under new management not as good as before. My last order chips only just cooked lots of black bits eyes etc on the chips batter greasy, hope this was a one off.

Most disgusting fish and chips I've ever had. Chips were hard. Granted they were about to close and the fish and chips were already cooked but there should be a law against selling edible food never going there ever again. I suggest you don't either.
