Atlantic Fish Bar in South Gloucestershire

No one is answering the phone been ring and ringing 20 times since 5pm answer the phone!!!!

I don't usually give reviews.. but this time I must to. I had the best chicken burguer ever. It was absolutely fantastic, well done crispy great flavour, fresh salad.. really good size. I cannot describe it better. Amazing!!! Great friendly service. Highly recommended !!!

I finally found ( After 79 years of searching ) a great fish and chips bar. The fish was beautifully fried in a soft batter and the chips cooked to perfection..... One downside, the portions were over generous resulting in my regaining most of the weight I had lost. Think I'll stick to the O.A.P. serving next time. GREAT FISHY

Great local friendly fish and chips shop.

Our local chippy, and happy to say it's a good'un. Good portion sizes, fair prices, great quality food and speedy service. Exactly what you want from a fish and chip take out. Regularly busy, and I'd rather it be busy and doing good trade than quiet and then boarded up! Never a crazy wait time. And you can obviously get your staple can of Tropical Rio to wash it all down. Classic.

What has happened to this once lovely go to fish bar? The fish is hidden in an enormous amount of batter so very disappointing and the chips are just a soggy mess, not at all crisp as they used to be. I will be looking around for a better fish bar in the future

We brought fish and chips yesterday. We found small stones in the food. And there was bad smell came from food. We got sick after eating from here.

Always really good food. Had the large cod last time I visited, which was most definitely large, but have had their pies, battered sausage, fish cakes, chicken nuggets, and obviously chips, before and never been disappointed. After ordering a small mushy peas the previous time, I ordered a large this time, which I wouldn't say was large enough to share, so order one each.

I go here occasionally to order a take away. The food is always pretty good. Very tasty. The prices are also pretty good for the portion sizes, especially for the chips. The staff are also friendly which always helps. Overall I'd rate 5 stats.

Atlantic is a brilliant fish and chip shop. Easily the best chips in South Gloucestershire. They do a few veggie options as well, including a pea fritter that is apparently really good. Prices arent too bad either.

We are regular visitors to Atlantic. Food is amazing and fairly priced. Children's meals are excellent value for money. Is currently cash only.

Never had a bad meal in all the times we've been. Staff are lovely too.

Staying at a nearby hotel we thought we'd try this. A free cash machine outside to get money to pay for it, Spar shop next door for a bottle of wine, then fish and chips takeaway! The wait is a little long but that's because the place is busy. The wait is worth it though, great food and service. Huge portions!

Honestly, there are a lot more better Chip Shops around, the best one in my own person opinion is Papa's in Weston-Super-Mare, but unfortunately, I only eat from there rarely, if it moved closer, I would always go there. Anyway, it's not that Atlantic is bad, it's more that they could do better. The chips and burgers are not the best and the fish isn't great either. However, if they improved and got better at cooking, then this place could most definitely succeed.

Dry hard scrags chips when i was a kid it was called scrunhes great fish though

I used to go to Fairbanks in Winterbourne for good fish and chips - you can still get them there too lol - but if you're closer to Atlantic go there first! 5/5! Cheaper too and just as good an experience. Friendly and polite staff!
