Atlantic Bay in North Hertfordshire

First time using this place and I must say I'm amazed... Portions are huge, food is lovely, very fairly priced and service was amazing!! We don't live within the delivery but they where happy to accommodate (paid extra for delivery but would deffo do it again!!). Food was bloody lovely.

Did not dine in,but had food delivered. Amazing value for money super large portion of chips,which stayed hot until the end.will definitely recommend to others.

i ordered 4 piece chicken and chips meal i asked for cheesy chips instead of normal chips the chips were not nice at all same for the chicken

Friendly staff. Portion sizes are big. Very tasty. Very affordable as well. The staff were very suggestive.

I would like to say I had the best large cod and chip I've had in 6years of living here ,the cod was beautifully cooked the chips were outstanding ,and delivery only took 30mins ,well done guys and dolls I will order this again much love

Having tried pretty much all of the fish, chip and kebab shops in the area Atlantic Bay is the best in my opinion. Had a great Kofte from there this evening - generous helping of sauces and good quality salad.

Always order online from these guys and as a family we have always enjoyed the food. One time they were out of something and were very quick in phoning me to let me know. They offered alternatives at no extra cost and were very friendly. Haven't tried everything on the menu, but their portion sizes are very generous and the food is always very tasty!

People seem to like it, for me I got food poisoning that subsequently caused ongoing health problems, medical intervention and has affected general food tolerances. Make your own mind up (zero stars was not an option)

Food is good. People are great. An all round win. They are not over chatty but go a few times and you get recognized. Then friendly and familiar. Accomodating. Best chips (ever?) And good fish, sausages and personalized kebabs that taste like they used to. Cant recommend enough.

Arrived within 20 minutes from ordering (about a 10 minute drive to our location) food was cold and not fresh driver was rude. Will not be ordering from here again.

Great takeaway, lots of choice whether it be fish and chips, fried chicken or Mediterranean food. All very reasonably priced with a super friendly team. Only downside is its cash only, however you can pay by card or you order online. Definitely recommend.

I've used Atlantic Bay on a few occasions, admittedly not for fish. Normally I go for their chicken and spicy wings which is terrific value, always hot (I go to pick up) and always a cracking meal. Last time I also grabbed a salad box, coleslaw and some Baklava - stuffed to the gills and very happy.

This is the second time purchased from here, the first time was cold, thought we would give them another chance….. bad move Savaloys cold Chips looked old and cold Sausage was disgusting, over cooked, dry, tasted awful, this was at 4 o’clock tea time so should no way have been bad. Don’t wast your money here

Fast, good value for money and super friendly team every time. We always order a mixture of fish, sausages and kids meals alongside curry sauce and never has there been an issue

Nice theatre, good disabled parking, in fact very good. But bar prices are very bad, more expensive than the tickets, totally unacceptable. Not bad seats, but bar prices spoilt my visit.

Typical English fish and chip, which you can take home. The fish is very large and the portion of potatoes is tremendously generous. The curry sauce is very delicious. Important, You cannot pay by card.

They don’t take card payments in this day and age and during a pandemic, not to mention the staff that saw me enter but did not acknowledge me,Wouldn’t return here again.

I have always enjoyed the kebabs that I have had from here over the years The staff are friendly and professional also the salad and sauce are in separate containers so you can pick and chose how much of each you want .

Won’t be ordering from here again, waited over two hours for oily fish and chips which are so mushy and clumped together I am sure they were put in the microwave before given to the driver. Very disappointed!!

Whoaaaaa! Feeling pretty lucky to have chosen this as my takeaway! Hands down the best fish a chips shop about! I love Umut he is such a hard working lad, and always at his best for customer service! Large portions and generous amount of sauces. Also, would recommend the doner in burger combo, mouthwatering right?! YUM

First time i have used this fish and chip shop, the food was hot fish lovely and very generous with the portion keep these good standards up i shall return .

Covid queing can be a bit tiresome but the quality of the fish/sausages etc is good. Chips can be a bit smushed up though. average priced for fish and chips. Donner meat is fine, southern fried chicken dishes are lacking in spice IMO.

I bought a large cod and chips from here. When I bit into the fish I found three battered sausages. The chips smelled like dolphin.

Absolutely disgusted with this place. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Ordered over the phone, got to the shop and they had given my order away. They then told me it was cash only even though they failed to mention this on the phone. Went home to get cash, went back to the shop and picked up my order. Got home and found they had messed up, things missing that I had ordered. Rang them up and the the attitude on this woman was diabolical. She spoke with such aggression and anger. When I asked to speak to someone else he wasnt much better. Had no intention of resolving this, only to make matters worse by making out I wanted a free meal and saying if I wanted the items that they failed to give me, I should come down and collect it. To think these people are in the hospitality sector gives me no hope. They deserve nothing more than to have that business closed down. Lower than pond life. Not to mention when I went back to get a full refund, they thought it was clever to shout out my address in the shop in front of customers. That's something I'll be pursuing. I hope they read this and realise what a foolish mistake that was. Do not purchase food from this establishment, it's not worth the hassle. Make yourself a sandwich instead.

I had a large doner kebabs today which I didn’t enjoy. Meat was stale and salad a day old and watery. No sauce or chilli included. Very disappointed.

It's lovely. They do chips and pies and burgers and chicken and kebab. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable staff are great. If you ask for hummus, you get a *lot* of hummus 🤣

Have ordered from here many times more lately everything dripping in grease or oil ordered 28 July waited excess of an hour chips were actually dripping with oil loads of oil in container. Rang to talk to them I got shouted at by the rudest person ever telling me it's the potatoes this time of year . What A load of rubbish my carer rang and and tried to explain he got the same. Will never ever order from here again. Even doner meat greasy as hell. AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU LIKE GREASY FOOD

VERY DISAPPOINTING. Ordered at 1824. Due an hour later to be delivered. Was over an HOUR LATE. Arrived 2035. Food ok - chips greasy. Will not be returning.

Fish is soaked in heavy oil, by the time you receive the fish, it is all soft and soggy, kebab is extremely expensive (1 small chip, one small chicken kebab, and one single Shish kofta) £17 Not recommended at all - rude, unfriendly staff - unacceptable prices.

Great fish and chips had a large Cod and chips and could of fed a family of 4 with it! Only downer was prices but with the large portion guessing its justified :)

We use Atlantic Bay Fish & Chips & Kebab shop at least twice every month. Food is alway amazing, portions are large, quality of food always excellent. Alway hot and well packed and very polite delivery drivers 5 stars every time

Food was poor quality and the dessert was warm when it arrived, after unwrapping it turns out the dessert was also stale. Waste of money.

I’ve use Atlantic bay loads of times, there food has always been pretty good. my favourite is their chicken shish n rice. Order again this evening 1800hrs and being Saturday night was an hour estimate for delivery which to be expected what I didn’t expect was the delivery to take 2hrs, was a quite disappointing, I phone to query things after it was 15 min late to be told the order was ready but waiting to be delivered and would be out any minute. 45 min later it turned up. On a positive the food was piping hot, the portions were enough to feed 2! And as usual the food was really good, particularly enjoyed the chips! Don’t think the it’s been enough to put me off but maybe will avoid Fri/Sat night

Chips were undercooked, I asked for no peppers in my kebab. I asked for just cucumber, lettuce and mayo in the wrap and I got peppers and all sorts in the wrap. When I called to complain I was rudely asked "What do you want me to do about it". Won't be using them again

bit annoyed that I was overcharged atleast £6 by ordering on here as your paper menu prices and massively different (will be complaining to just eat) and you also forgot the curry sauce!
