Jay, what’s a absolute legend, the food was absolutely beautiful, chips cooked and seasoned to perfection, burgers well cooked, and excellent service, highly recommended if u are staving and need an abrasive taste in your mouth! Give it a try on miss out!!

This shop should be checked and examined by a hygiene team the first time we found a black hair in the potato filling and the second my son had a burger from them and I almost took him to the emergency department because straight away he experienced very bad vomiting.Never recommended to anyone

The workers made us feel very uncomfortable when they commented on what one of my friends was wearing and shamed the rest of us by implying we were not “covered up enough”. This attitude is glearly disgusting and misogynistic and will not be returning.

i love this place its my default takeaway and they're always packed but still so friendly and accommodating I must've misheard my order being called out for collection this night but the staff remade it plus gave me a free coke

i ordered, they told me it was okay I sat in, then literally 5 minutes later as I was eating they started to turn all the lights off as if they wanted me to leave?! i know I ordered late but I spent £10 on food. I had to leave because it became really obvious you didn't want me to be there and i was sat in the dark. do better! i work in the late night industry too!

Asked for chicken wrap and garlic Mayo, ended up being given a garden full of vegetables and sauce that tasted like a fresh pack of Trebor mints

Went here last night after a night out. Gorgeous kebab! We had a chicken shish and a pizza. The chicken was chargrilled and not over cooked or dry like a lot of places would cook it. Perfect. The salad was so fresh and crispy! The pizza we had was a margarita but the tomato sauce was really rich! I was surprised at how good this place was! Massive effort from the guys that work there and the owner! Top notch!

Aslan kebab was there when I was at my lowest, best bossman around, always there after a long evening on west street. there were some rowdy spanish guys.

If you’re ever hungry don’t look no further than Aslan’s… has everything you need and taste amazing too. Been here couple of months and it already feels like home. Le Bosh. Big up Aslan much love.

what terrible service! i get its busy but how on earth can they not manage a queue, or specific orders? so chaotic that unclaimed pizzas were stacked by the wayside. waited 25+ for a pizza that never came and other food went cold in this time. paid for food but had to leave, forgot my order. waste of time!

What a shambles! Waited over 25 minutes for a small pepperoni pizza - kept being told it would be "just a minute" yet it never readied. Unbelievable! I understand it's busy, but people who came in after me were able to get their pizzas first. No pizza & lost money - disappointed, but not surprised.

Aslan's is the baddiest location on West Street for a late night snack. There is no institution that has been there for me quite like Aslan's. The employees are so kind, patient and approachable. The food is dazzling, delicious and scrumptious. Whether its a garlic bread, cheesy chips or halloumi wrap, Aslan's never fails. I cannot recommend this place enough- please, if you are in Sheffield an in need of something cheap and delectable, make a pilgrimage to Aslan's. Aslan's we love you.

1st time customer and in need of a friday night chomp. opted for pepperoni and chicken pizzas and cheesy chips. friendly service and food was ready in no time. great location on the party streets of west street and cavendish. high turnover of customers whether students, pubbers or clubbers. next time i'll try for chicken donner , chips and cheese

After 20 minutes of ordering, he tells me that we forgot my order, even though there were only three customers. This is disrespectful and unprofessional.

I found a bone in my chicken WRAP🤢🤢🤮🤮!! Food tasted fine until a bone was in my mouth and next thing I know I almost vomited.. it was disgusting! Never again.

Food tastes great, however they use their bare hands to make the food. Staff come in from outside and they shake hands and keep making the food. That just seems incredibly unhygienic and dangerous. I wish they wore gloves instead.

I rarely write reviews but I've been visiting Aslan's for over two decades and they consistently deliver delicious, high-quality food and excellent customer service. Their fried chicken is my absolute favourite - thanks guys!

Great food on a night out and was served extremely fast (probably was two minutes or so) and staff are friendly.

This place is horrible. You might think it's a good idea to take a shaorma after going out, but don't take it from here. First, the place is very unhygienic and it looks like nobody cleaned the floors for days. It was all full of remains of puke and salad. Second, they don't take into consideration the queue. They take orders very chaotically and they charged me twice for a shaworma after making me believe the card didn't get processed. And third, their spicy sauce was literally the hottest thing I've ever tried, and I have HIGH hot tollerance. The shaworma was average to low grade, meat was alright, but I would personally go somewhere else because of the stated above.

I don't recommend this restaurant because they prioritize serving customers who arrived after you, causing you to wait even though you placed your order first. I would rate it one star, and I believe it deserves less than that Edit: I didn’t order a pizza and the next customer who came after me ordered the exact same order

Bad food quality, mu order was Mix grill and Lamb shish Kebab. Both were bad! I was shocked, because my expectations were high! But it was one of my worst food experiences!

Maybe it's because it's an end of a Friday night, Saturday morning mind set and I've never been here without having had a few pints, but Aslan's does quite possibly the greatest kebabs you'll have in your life, and at really decent prices too. Ending the night at Aslan's is a ritual on a night out now amongst me and my mates.

I visited Friday night and purchased a chicken with fries. When I returned home whilst consuming ,the food it kept burning my mouth terribly. I wondered if they'd mixed my order with spicy food which I cannot eat. It's then I remembered the csr asked me what I wanted to dress the food. I replied ketchup , strangely he slaughtered the food with it. I couldn't sleep due to the indigestion. Plus I'd had major stomach surgery 5yrs ago which has left mine compromised. I went next day to deal with the issue. The owner wasn't interested. First his staff called him... he said he was too busy to listen. I said I 'll tell the staff what happened , he and they said they can't speak English 🤷 well enough. Their service is terrible I was made to feel as if I was trying something. I believe I was given an order that possibly someone rejected, and they palmed it off on me. It was also cold. They should get no stars. Becareful of eating there.

the chicken shish is very good, very friendly service at all hours. been many times and dont let people tell you that you have to be drunk to enjoy it because it slaps either way

Poor. There was a time when you'd go to a kebab shop and they'd be grilling the meat in front if you. Now they buy it in ready prepared. Sloppy, greasy, shrink wrapped tiny pieces of poor chicken. You might as well be a hot dog stand if you're just going to warm it up. Rubbish quality.
