The service we received by Olivia at Ask Xscape was the very best, so very friendly, helpful and attentive. I cannot recommend Ask highly enough for quality food and the best service.

Fantastic food and brilliant service from Edit - professional, attentive and super friendly. When we turned up, our 7 year old was super hangry and Edit recognised his pain and ordered his starter immediately, made such a difference.

Couple sat next to me was kinda weird and stared at us a bit. Not much you can do about that tho. The food was really good but they were out of Chocolate and Vanilla Icecream. We were served by a nice lady called Brooke. I would have tipped more but didn’t have enough cash left over.

We've just got back from celebrating my husbands birthday, we had delicious food and the staff were wonderful especially Paige, my husband and daughter could have stayed talking horror films with her all evening. Although my daughter is in a wheelchair she was never made to feel so, she wasn't spoken over or ignored which sadly happens too often. Everything was very smooth and totally enjoyable

Food was nice enough, nothing stunning. The place went dead by 9pm then we were asked to leave in not so many words. Chain fodder. Service wasn't the best, kept forgetting about us.

Chronically slow because they won't invest in more staff. Over an hour to get a main. 30 minutes just to get the bill. Food is average.

Today i went to xscape branch with my partner for our anniversary the restaurant was empty and most of the tables were empty,i asked the waitress (lady) to give us a good table and better place she was really rude and ignored us and told us you have to sit where i tell you this is second time we were disappointed Never come back again . Awful customer service.

Wonderful service by Leo, excellent Pizza and my favourite Tiramisu anywhere. Well worth the 40 minutes drive. We will be back

I went with my family to Ask at xscape Castleford for a mid-week treat and oh what a treat it was. The food was wonderful and we were served by an enchanting young woman who I believe was called Liv. She couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel very special. We will definitely be back!

I booked my team's christmas meal here for 13 people and I'm so glad I did. I had sent over the pre order form and somehow everything had got mixed up but Paige managed to sort it all out whilst ordering the food. She was fantastic. The food then came so quickly delivered by both Lewis and Paige they were both so friendly and everything we pre ordered was delivered without fault. They were both so attentive the whole time we were there. I would really like to thank them both for the service they provided to myself and my whole team. It can be so stressful organising food for a group and then when the pre order had come through wrong they really treated me with respect and reassurance I really did appreciate it. I hope they both get recognition for the excellent service they provided.

Pollo Milanese with Chips £18.30 "Breaded butterfly chicken breast, seasoned and roasted. Served with chips, broccoli and a creamy mushroom sauce." (AKA a substandard chicken burger) The menus don't come with pictures of the dishes. So for £18 I was picturing a fresh chicken breast, sliced sideways, freshly seasoned and roasted in an oven, with chips (or potatoes per the menu). There was no mention of any coating or batter. What I got was a flat, reconstituted chicken burger in a crispy batter that was, to all intents and purposes, on the same level as a big flattened out fish finger. It bore zero resemblance to a seasoned butterflied chicken breast and no resemblance to an authentic Italian meal. I ate as much as I could because I didn't want to upset my partner, but it was a struggle. It was like eating a very salty rubbery flip-flop and it had ZERO taste. For something described as "seasoned" I was surprised that all I could taste was lots and lots of salt. The mushroom sauce was a very thin soup, thinner than the Sainsbury's own mushroom soup you can pick up from the supermarket for 66p. I stupidly poured it on top of the chicken, hoping it would disguise the taste of the nasty thing, but it was so thin it immediately soaked into the coating. I tried scraping it off, but it was too late, it had vanished. The pot it came in was cracked all the way through, too, which was less than hygienic. Probably the most expensive chicken burger and mushroom soup I've ever had. I don't like pizzas, but this looked really tasty on the menu before we entered. Sadly, there were no photos to tell you what you were ACTUALLY ordering. The restaurant gets ZERO points for its misleading menu listing and ZERO points for charging the kind of money you would expect to pay for something fresh and tasty. Even MacDonald's chicken burgers are tastier and better quality than this. On entry, unasked, the meet and greet person on the door sloppily splashed raspberry lemonade in the vague direction of two shot glasses. Fortunately, the tables were covered in plastic table cloths from the 1970s. However, the squash was very tasty, but when ordered came with noticeably less raspberry. Finally, the place was incredibly noisy. I imagine it was designed to mirror a pub atmosphere, to be deliberately noisy in order to give it a "buzz". It could be that the pizzas are delicious and if you like noisy pub atmospheres it will be right up your street. But I wish that Italian fast food restaurants like this would only have on its menu what is decent to eat, rather than offload garbage onto its non-pizza eating customers. In summary: Meal was hot ✔️ Chips were tasty ✔️ Squash was tasty ✔️ Meal was tasteless and rubbery ✖️ Meal was overly salted ✖️ Meal wasn't as described ✖️ Meal was overpriced ✖️ Squash not mixed as nicely as the taster shot glasses given on entry ✖️ Service was sloppy ✖️

Ate here twice whilst away with work. Really welcoming staff. Especially for a table of 1. Tried other places and it was like a hindrance to serve me. Really nice staff made me feel welcome. Fast service. Waiter remembered me second time round which was a nice touch. Burrata Carbonara was amazing! So were the meatballs. Cant fault the food. Have not one bad word to say.Havnt been to Ask Italian in years but would now recommend it and actively seek one out into the future. Worth a visit!

Where to start, we go to this restaurant quite a bit and it's always good, but today the staff went above and beyond to make our experience just perfect. The food was amazing as always. The puddings all sounded amazing, but we were struggling to decide, so the manager brought out the two puddings we ordered and a small taster of the third pudding we had wanted! The staff make every restaurant, and the staff at this place are a credit to ASK. Two people that made our experience special were Charlie and Christina - message to ASK management, if you don't promote these ladies you're missing a trick!!!

The food is always very nice but not the cheapest of places but good quality. I was a little disappointed with the service this time as it was very slow and a bit careless whereas it's usually been very good.

We were a large family group (spanning three generations) and we all enjoyed all we consumed. Danny was our main server and he was outstanding! Not only did he keep checking (unobtrusively!) that we were OK but he seemed to anticipate when we needed anything!!! I noticed he was also very efficient in constantly scanning the whole area to see if anything could be tidied or neatened! Brilliant example of great service!!! 🕺
