Asiana Indian Cuisine in Liverpool

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to- every thing excellent. Food very tasty service spot on and very reasonable prices- would definitely recommend to anyone.

Después de leer la última crítica aquí como pobre, estábamos un poco nerviosos para comer aquí. Hemos estado dos veces anteriormente sin quejas, por lo que nos preguntamos qué había cambiado a medida que la nueva administración se había hecho cargo. Luego recordamos que habíamos comido allí con la nueva gerencia. Anoche fue muy agradable, el ambiente era relajante, el personal muy atento, solo una o dos mesas vacías. Pedí el entrante de langostinos y cordero Korma, mi marido tenía los champiñones picantes y pollo Birani. La comida era deliciosa y abundante. Por favor, no te preocupes por los comentarios anteriores. Tal vez solo una mala noche, pero ciertamente no hubo quejas de nosotros anoche. Omg, no te dejes engañar, esta NO es la Asiana como la habrás conocido. Se ha hecho cargo y ahora vive con el nombre de los propietarios anteriores cuando es increíble. Se ha ido cuesta abajo hasta el punto en que podría hacerlo mejor con un indio fuera de un frasco.

Loved this place food used to be exceptional food. But omg how it's changed had no idea it had new owners until we ordered a take away. Food was awful we spent £50 for a family of 4 and we ended up throwing half the food away. Would love to know where the precious owners have moved too... Word of advice DO NOT EAT FROM HERE waste of money and tasteless

Just had a lovely meal tonight at the Asiana with 4 friends, been going there for 10 years so was a bit apprehensive knowing it has new owners but food was fab and customer service was excellent, will definitely go back !

Our 3rd visit to this restaurant. On this visit we discovered it was under new ownership. The food was fantastic. Service was second to none, although being a Wednesday, it was very quiet. The best chicken saag I've ever had. Popadoms and dips, waiting for our meal. Great naan. Very nice chapatis. Good luck to this family in there new venture

New management and decor, but food is still amazing

Just literally got back with a takeaway from here and its absolutely disgusting! What on earth has happened? £30 worth of food has gone straight in the bin!! Does anyone know if there are new owners?! Used to be lovely but would not go here ever again!!

Visited here for mothers day for an impromptu meal with the kids. Really relaxing atmosphere with a none rushed service. I got the mixed Vindaloo and boy it was hot but so tasty. Would definitely recommend!

I will keep this short. Do not order a takeaway on a Sunday night. Totally got a bland and uneatable meal. See photos. Onion barggies cold and cut in half and a salad with no cucumber, tomato or lemon etc just limp lettuce. Cold main of King prawn deoplaza in a plain curry sauce. No onion or peppers etc. Going to address this issue tomorrow so I will keep everyone posted.

This People are Fraud Not Paying my £38 Since last 3 Months Need help from some local people

My family have been going here for years, we have seen a recent decline. There is no recognition of loyalty either as my father been going here for years.. my partner got a chipati and a shop bought tortilla wrap was presented. The food was just average, on occassions it is lovely but not always consistent and not always as requested. Maybe they have changed chefs who knows- but from below comments this isnt and isolated opinion.

Been going here for years but recently few and far between visits due to cost and portion sizes (especially takeout) Food great, however charged £3.95 for a pint of coke out of a 2litre bottle. Carpet is sticky and worn. Absolutely freezing in there, heating obviously broke due to 1or 2 electric heaters dotted round. Toilets disgraceful, the urinals are not plumbed in and look as though they get bleach squirted at them once a week and the toilet can’t be sat on in its current position, In desperate need of a refurb and a good look at the drink prices. It’s a shame but won’t be going back again.

Orderd chicken makhonwalla as a takeaway with garlic narrn absalute fab very freindly staff lovely restaurant will be going back 10 out of 10 brilliant highly recommended.

I’ve eaten a lot of Indian Food this in my time but the Asiana is right up at the top of my rankings. The whole family enjoyed. Efficient staff and helpful. It might not look much from the outside but don’t let that fool you. It’s all about the food as it should be. Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to going back. First time we didn’t get a free whiskey/baileys at end of night but maybe that coz it was so busy at new year or that this time we had the kids with us. Either way, still love the place.

Went about 5.30 a few Saturdays ago, haven’t been here for years but food still great. Staff were really friendly and the food arrived within about 15 minutes. Little shots and chocolates after the meal are always a nice touch so love the way they still do this! Less than £40 for a meal for 2 and had to take some home because the portions are so big!

Not what this place used to be, once upon time this was the place to be, food was great and staff were good. Now you get cocky cheeky waiters with attitude, if complain about the food make waiters make it sound like what you're doing here if you don't like the food. Really Sad to see this place go down. Won't be coming back. Thanks for the past memories.

Me and my wife went on a Sunday night a few weeks ago, Been going here for years but this was the worst I've ever had, I usally have about 4 pints of Kingfisher because I love the stuff, No way it was Kingfisher they was serving, Tasted like Carling and I hate carling Meal was very bland and we had the offer and the bill came to £54 and then I was told the card machine wasn't working and only had £55 on me, Why couldn't they tell us before the meal was ordered Don't think ill be going back again in a hurry, Shame really because I've always liked it When me and my wife left there was NIL customers left in there and it was only 8pm, Not atall like the old Asiana

Not a great Indian. Meals were ok but the sauces seemed watered down.

Went for my brother's birthday like we did last year. What a difference the wine glasses were dirty and the selection was so poor i had to pop to tescos for a bottle the starters looked over cooked and we then waited 90 minutes for our main meal which were not what we orderd we complained and paid for the drinks and left.Never again.

Nicest Indian around great staff

Myself and two friends went here last night for a catch up! The place was empty at first but soon filled right up, the food was lovely I especially enjoyed the “cheese hoppers” for my starter! The three of us had no faults with anything!

My meal was nice but the service was not great, we went for long periods without a drink. They did not have any jack daniels, did not have any lamb and also did not even have any milk (for tea/coffee) even though there was a Tesco over the road???

REALLY POOR service and I am sure the food made us ill. The staff actually made us feel uneasy in their demeanour. The atmosphere was really unusual in the restaurant and they said they didnt have many common items that an Indian restaurant should have in at all times, particularly for a Saturday night. I will NEVER visit this restaraunt again.

Booked the table for 8pm last Saturday night,and to our surprise there wasn't many people there,I don't know wether it's changed hands or not as it wasn't up too it's usual standards,hardly any staff to ask about meals and no little free drink at the end of the evening.

Sin embargo, no soy un habitual, pero la comida que tuvimos fue deliciosa y el servicio excelente. No puedo cilantro desnudo así que pedí que no se agregue a ninguno de mis platos y no había, fue encantador. La mayoría de los restaurantes indios se niegan a hacer esto, ya que todo está preparado con el cilantro ya agregado. Entonces, me mostró que la comida estaba recién preparada. Hemos estado viniendo aquí desde que abrió, inicialmente llamado Las Cobras Den, siempre tenía una buena a muy buena experiencia pero fue sorprendida por la última semana. 8:00 de un viernes por la noche, y casi vacío muy extraño, llevaron a nuestra mesa y beber y pedir comida en un buen tiempo. Bebidas llegamos en un corto período de tiempo y la comida no mucho después, así que no hay queja sobre el personal o el servicio, pero la comida le faltaba cualquier resplandor o chispa soso en extremo. Dos de nuestro grupo vive en Bradford y mientras estaban muy educado podía ver que no estaban impresionados. Me llevaron de vuelta por la diferencia entre lo que una vez fue un restaurante muy animado y experiencia agradable y los viernes.

Not sure this place is not under new management..we always went here as a family last 2 times food poor cold waited a long time for everything had to keep asking for service and was then overcharged...shame would of always gave the place 5 stars new kids on the block me think

I would like to say how disappointed I was with the service we received we ordered our meal and waited a hour and 40 minutes for are meal some of which was burnt the manager sent over a completely bottle of wine of which was to go round 12 people and was like vinegar . When we ask to speak to manager we waited 20 minuets and he said they where busy but the where not only had another group of 30 in we booked it two weeks ago so they was aware we we coming I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone as they don’t care how they treat people so give this restaurant a miss

Le expliqué a la persona en el teléfono que tenía una alergia a la leche por lo que no pudo haber lácteos y preguntó si el curry podría hacerse sin gee mantequilla. El hombre dijo que no, como la salsa de pre hechas. Pregunté si podía ser fresca como alérgico a los ingredientes que me dijeron que no. Entonces me dijo educadamente o no puede satisfacer mis alergias", que me dijeron que el punto blanco 'no' muy decepcionados con el pobre servicio al cliente y voluntad de ayudar! Obviamente no se va a la Asiana, que es una pena que en el local para mí.

We have been having meals at the Asian for several years with no complaint but the last three visits have been poor ,have they change the chef ?becaus the taist of the curry sauces all taist the same,my granddaughter age 12 got a Korea ,my daughter ordered a monk fish curry and I ordered a madras the difference between all three sauces was minimal ,please bring back your old chef .

Starter of Samosas....poor quality filling and not crisp enough.Main course Biryani with prawns was underwhelming...consistency was a bit 'wet' rather than dry and aromatic... accompanying veg.curry was 'ok'.Not impressed.

A very thorough menu for an Indian, representing many different aspects of Indian culture and it's food. All enjoyable and nice to sample many different dishes and ingredients while still also providing basic british foods for all guests to enjoy. Decent range of alcoholic beverages and deserts suited to the local areas represented by the menus and exciting to taste. Highly recommended for just a casual meal out or for when taking in the establishments that West derby village has to offer.

We visited the restaurant on 17th Feb. We ended up leaving after waiting over an hour and a half for any service, we booked the table at 7:30 and were not sat down till 8:15! There was not enough staff, we waited over half an hour even to be asked what drinks we would like and when they finally arrived they were incorrect and one of the wine glasses had a fresh lipstick stain on, you could tell it had literally been picked up from another table and brought to ours without being cleaned. We have been here before and enjoyed it so I dont know what happened this time. We decided to leave in the end and asked for the bill, I was really unhappy with the service on an important day for a large group of 10 of us (we had pre booked), so I asked the guy behind the bar what was going on and he abruptly replied with 'do you want a discount!'. This was not what I wanted I simply would of liked an apology for the lack of service or empathy. I was told then that there was a bereavement which I was extremely sorry to hear. If this was the case we would of completely understood cancelling our booking.

En mi última visita el restaurante era la comida fría y bastante pobre (chuletas de cordero, samosas fría grasos aceitoso, curry, vino grasienta cara para lo que es). El servicio era horrible, no había comunicación entre los miembros del personal, etc. Sin embargo, el personal muy amable. . ! Este solía ser mi favorito India hasta la última hace 18 meses o así. ! He oído de una buena fuente que use la gestión como un centro de entrenamiento para los camareros, etc., lo cual está bien, pero los estándares para los clientes de pago debe seguir siendo de primera categoría (nota a la gerencia. ! ). Alfombra y enseres fijos y accesorios necesita una buena limpia. . ! No he dado completamente. . . Pero por favor, tome nota de los comentarios de Asiana. . !

just had a takeaway from Asiana and we are really surprised at the reviews Because our experience didn't match up....

It's not bad food but it's certainly not the best either. I've had much better Indian that was much less greasy as well, I had to dab my naan with my napkin to get all the excess that was on it. The vegetarian option just used cheap vegetables, all cabbage and onion without more interesting like courgette, aubergine or broccoli and the flavour was nice but not Wow, a bit underwhelming. If you are looking for a new Indian and haven't been here before I'm certain you can find somewhere better.

Hemos estado aquí muchas veces y esta vez era para comida de cumpleaños calle amigas de nuestro hijo 21. Bhuna pidieron pollo cordero bhuna y les dieron. Pedí pollo biryani sin esmirna y todo lo que conseguí fue arroz con cebollas y pollo. Casi ningún sabor. La parte superior de la pan naan era ligero, pero el Fondo era duro como una roca. Tuvimos que pedir 3 veces para el agua del grifo. Los típicos chocolates baileys, brandy y al final de la comida era muy agradable y no ofrecieron a los 2 curries fuera del menú, pero mi hijo rechazado, ya que había comido alguna. Les trajo un pollo tikki inicial por medio de una disculpa. Todo el mundo estaba completo, pero un poco decepcionante. No tan sabroso como de costumbre.

I've been coming here for years and is my first choice for Asian food in Liverpool. The staff are fantastic and friendly. The service is swift. And the food is wow! My fussy 9 year old son loves it here. Portions are large but the food is very tasty.

Este es un bonito restaurante. Nos presentamos como estaba lleno de un grupo de 10 sin reserva y el lugar, pero esperamos no más de 10 minutos para sentarse. Había mucho para elegir y vegetarianos parecía estar bien atendidos. Las gambas ajo mantequilla king eran un poco decepcionante, pero el rape principal era muy agradable. El servicio era muy bueno. Los precios eran razonables.

Not gonna lie if you have a bad poo the day after a curry, the gaff is doing something right, and these lads are certainly doing it right, there duck starter is better than sadio mane and there Vindaloo is a winner to, a big bottle of Cobra to wash it all down and some poppadoms what more could you want from a curry house?

Every place has their up and downs but tonight the place was empty and food was awful. No seasoning, over cooked and poor flavour. It's such an amazing place but please keep the chefs high quality. You are lovey people but to keep your business going you need to get back to the original quality or this place will be gone soon

Been to Asiana last Thursday with my friends. My friends kept recommending the place complementing its atmosphere, great food and the friendly staff. So I gave it a try and I was welcomed. The food was great as my friends said it would. The staff were very friendly. Will visit again for sure.

Went to Asiana for dinner recently and really enjoyed the food. It's traditional, no frills curry which is exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely be back!
