Ashianna in Northumberland

Chicken dish swimming in tin of tomatoes , rice over cooked, chapati undercooked, an insult to Indian food.

It is a restaurant so the takeaway part is a bit more expensive. Having said that the food was excellent and I might visit for a sit in meal because the restaurant looks and feels great.

Always a beautiful meal with lovely staff. Absolutely recommend a visit.

Great place to eat if you’re dining in or taking away. Good menu, and great flavours. Staff are also very welcoming and happy to serve.

Absolutely fantastic. Lovely flavours in all the curry’s we had. Couldn’t fault any of them! The chicken tikka naan was a bit spicy but was still lovely. Excellent customer service when collected, very friendly staff! Highly recommend the chicken balti, chicken jalfrezi and chicken rogan Josh!

Lovely meal here was just here week ago

A delightful meal here. Tip top service. A bright, airy & well decorated restaurant spotlessly clean & well maintained but as with many restaurants the toilet could be better the sink was loose from the wall. However the food was very good & reasonably prices as was the drinks will go again. Recommended.

Never had a bad meal at Ashianna, food is always perfect. Had both takeaways and meals in.

We visited as a family group on Saturday evening and were made to feel very welcome. The staff were smiling and friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was fine. Service was great, food was delicious and we will definitely be visiting again soon.

My partner and I just came back from the BEST Indian food experience we had in a very long time. I almost wanted to say "I love you" to the food haha. That's how incredibly tasty it was. The staff was friendly as well which is always good. :) We WILL be back there very often now that we live in Bedlington. :)

Ate here on New Year’s Day night. The restaurant was very busy but as always the food was outstanding and service excellent. Hussain and his staff should be very proud of this restaurant. Highly recommended

The Best Indian Restaurant out. I love to eat in here, staff and Owner are amazing, they look well after you and go out there way to make sure all the food they serve you is delicious.

Food was really good, as was value. Lamb laziz was tasty and spicier than I expected.

The Ashianna is and has been our favourite restaurant for over 10 years. The food is amazing and consistent. The restaurant is always finished to a really high standard and a really nice dining experience. Staff are always very pleasant and helpful. Takeaway are available which we sometimes choose to do if we're making last minute plans. Plenty of parking at the rear car park but sometimes you can get parked on the main street. Beer on tap and a large selection of drinks.

What can I say food was delicious carnt say i have ever had a bad 1 from them a little on the cold side when we got home but zap in microwave for couple of minutes 😋

Disgusting customer service. Rang up, requested no onions or peppers on my order - got half my sentence out and the guy on the phone cut me off saying no, no nothing like that on this order (brilliant, OK) Got it home and peppers on. Rang up, spoke to a man who passed me to the chef. Chef says order only states no onions. I explained I cant say what's written only what wad asked for etc. Offered to remake for me but I said no thanks just after a refund. Took it straight back untouched, where the owner ARGUED with me about the wrong order. I get the place was busy and understand people make mistakes but after arguing and blaming me for at least 5 minutes I will NOT be back. Disgusting the way he spoke to me. I am appalled. I didn't go in angry or kicking off, just went in for a refund. Disgusting.

Absolutely lovely food , it has been recently decorated and looks fabulous . Staff are great , full of info if your not sure what to order . Best indian food in the area . Service excellent too . Would recommend booking if it's for the weekend .

Our local Indian restaurant that has twice been voted the best Indian restaurant in south east Northumberland. The food is always delicious and flavoursome and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Had the tapas..tasty but beef was tough. 9 dishes included 2 starters..3 main..1 pudding ..rice and nan. Very small tasters. Better off choosing from main menu. Having said that my partners dish was lukewarm warm. Not as good as it used to be. Service for drinks slow too.

Would normally have give a 5 star for here but we visited on a special night thinking we would get the normally great food for 1/2 the price, yes it was the same food but only 1/2 the qty so left the place hungry and very disappointed

Good service. We tried the tapas menu. 9 items which was very good but tended to get cold as all items served at same time without a heating tray. Tasted good though and allowed one to try a variety of curries

Good curry's, Thursday has a tapas style surprise menu. Menu has different style of curry's making it more interesting.

First visit and it won't be the last, beautiful well looked after restaurant,crisp white tablecloths and napkins, food excellent, friendly staff, and again food really delicious!!

Great food and service. The place could do with some investment as its looking quite tired and dated but that doesn't get in the way of their top menu and staff.

Best lamb tikka I've tasted... lamb tikka starter, lamb tikka Madras main with garlic pilau rice and keema naan... perfect. Excellent service and great staff, can't fault it.
