Great coffee and sandwich in the cafe/bakery. It is on the high street with parking nearby, good choice of hot and cold "bakery" options. The bread was fresh with good amount of filling in my sandwich and my friends hot steak slice was tasty and full of steak and gravy. Staff were friendly and helpful and cafe is easily accessible for disabled. Im disabled so would have given 5 stars if it had been table service. We both took home some of the delicious looking cakes and we were not disappointed.

Been in the Nairn and Forres branches..quality of bakery and beveridges is excellent at reasonable prices. Take to go home or sit inside for relaxed cafe. The staff in both are excellent too, friendly and quick to serve at counter and if seated. Breads, cakes, filled rolls, pies and good drink options.

This wee coffee shop was recommended to us by locals and it is on the same side of the main street as the magnificent St Laurence Church, one of several interesting sights for visitors in the centre of Forres, even though so many places are still restricted as Scotland emerges from lockdown. Ashers is part of a chain and we only realised after we left that there are others in small North-east towns and villages that we have frequented and enjoyed. Hand sanitiser and social distance were - of course - vital to our coffee/cool drink and cake stop and we were delighted with the hygiene and cleanliness standards, but what makes your visit special is the staff and these ladies were marvellously good humoured and efficient. Great place for a cuppa and a bite to eat. The day we were there, Forres, like many towns and villages, was just getting to grips with emerging from restrictions on attractions, but there were plenty of things to see within a minute's walk. One of the most spectacular was the floral display outside nearby St Laurence Church, and - on the other side of the main street, further up, a stone lion, unicorn and gargoyles atop a hotel caught the eye.

Great little savoury pies, and nice buns.... very tasty. Have been our saviour for bread flour and yeast throughout the lockdown, and the staff are always really cheerful.... a local business that we will definitely keep supporting ...

Excellent selection. Always walked past this place and I'm glad I finally took the plunge and went for it. Excellent breakfast rolls. A big seating area at the back as it is deceptively bigger than you think due to the building being a thin but long structure. Dare I say it...... it is better than Maclean's.

Called in for lunch, very friendly staff, nice & clean. We had a snack and 2 cups of tea. Very reasonably priced, also bought 2 cakes to take back to our caravan. Highly recommended.

Great local bakers, staff are fantastic. Particularly liked the cheese and onion pasty and caramel cakes. Eat in and takeaway. At the very back of the shop are more seats and an old bakery oven.

I am deeply disappointed with the Costa located in Forres Tesco. On numerous occasions, I have visited only to find the seating area closed due to "short staff." This has become a recurring issue, and it’s incredibly frustrating as a customer to constantly face the same situation. The store is relatively small with minimal foot traffic, yet two members of staff seem unable to manage. Their main task appears to be making coffee, which customers often have to collect themselves. In many cases, customers are left to clean up after themselves as well. It is hard to believe that the issue is due to staffing shortages. Instead, it seems that what’s truly lacking is effective customer service and proper training. As a loyal customer, I had hoped for a better experience, but this location has consistently failed to meet even the basic expectations. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit, as my trust in Costa Forres has been severely undermined. I’m not the only one who feels this way, as I know several other customers who share my disappointment.
