Food was fine nothing special. I asked for another drink when my meal was served but it never came. Overrated and for the price not really good enough to justify. I wouldn't recommend. I would advise the Raja Monkey in hall green at a similar price point or Covered Wagon around Moseley which is considerably cheaper and does better food.

Went in for dinner and payed 24 pound for 1 small bowl sized portion of butter chicken that has no flavour and tastes worse than a ready meal. Manager was also very rude and said this is standard. 12 pound onion bhajis taste cheap with raw onion inside and 8 pound for 4 papadams that when served are in half so your left with 2 papadams with no sauce. Never eating here again

Fantastic meal for four friends this Friday just gone. We all had three courses and a couple of drinks each. (not lobster or anything too extravagant) The food was spot on I have to say, the lamb was particularly tender. No issues with the service, all the staff were very friendly and attentive. The total bill was £368.00. Was it a great meal? Yes, definitely. Was it worth that much money? Gotta be honest, probably not. Will we go again? Well, again, probably not. It was a great experience though, and I thank you for that. 👍😉

This is my 2nd time going to Asha's Indian Fine Dining for weekday Lunch. The best Indian restaurant. This is my 1st time eating Indian fish and chips. The fish and the batter is so much better than the British fish because it is season with Indian herbs. The chips is the best I ever had. Think it dubbed cooked, skin is so crispy and inside so fluffy. The curry in a Hurry is cooked just right not to spicy and hot and it has loads of lamb in it. The downside is you will need to go on weekday to enjoy the set lunch. It is still worth 100% Michelin

Just plain old egg fried rice is £10 what!?? and curry's are nearly £30 each, for 3 of us to go, with just 3 curries ,3 rice and 2 naan breads and 3 coffees was £148.03 , and they added on a £13.50 food service bill, what a absolute rip off, the curry was in a small bowl, and nothing special at all, they are absolutely taking the p**s , If you like wasting hard earned money and people ripping you off then fine but we would never go again. Wow what a total rip off.

I cannot eat onion and garlic and the restaurant was not very accommodating. There were only a few dishes they could make as they said all of their curry sauces are pre-prepared. How can this be considered fine dining? I’ve been to many Indian restaurants before, and my dietary requirements have never been a problem! I expected better but the experience was underwhelming.

Service was the only saving grace. The food was average. Definitely not worth the price £300+. It was terrible. The starters were ok. We should have just ordered the starters. We could only have the chicken and not happy that there were no halal options available for the lamb. Will definately not coming again.

Restaurant is very nice inside and deco has been well planed also its in good location. Service was average with new comer waiters, for a Restaurant like that where customer will be spending £70 person, i will expect service to be by a good experience waiter and more skilled full knowledgeable. Food is the main problem price is so high same old run of the mill where I can get same food from my local restaurant more better quality for 70% cheaper. If you charge people £25 minimum curry price... as a customer I expect fresh cook and quality in food. All meat curries meat is boiled and put in curry dishes. I will not be coming back again. Also somosa £12.95 I had its was re heated. Drinks were very good and stylish. Food has disappointed me so much.

The restaurant has become something of a regular restaurant and we almost always eat here with the team when we are in Birmingham for work. Coming from Germany, the quality in England is already much better when it comes to Indian food, but at Asha's it's a level better. The selection of dishes is really good and the food is well seasoned and therefore easy to tolerate even for someone who doesn't eat Indian food regularly. The orders are processed and delivered quickly and we regularly ask whether everything is ok. Only the volume in the restaurant is a bit loud and you have to shout at yourself if you catch a very busy time. We'll be back, promise!

A fantastic first experience at Asha’s. Concise authentic Indian menu ranging from mild to spicy dishes. Plenty of starters, curries and sundries to choose from. A beautiful interior with a bar, stools, tables for all party sizes and booths. Clean, well kept and calm ambiance. Privacy as well as openness. Amazing staff who were professional and considerate. We ordered the lamb shank (so tender and falling off the bone) and the Palak Paneer, with butter naan and peshwari naan which was so delicious and fresh. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay which went perfectly with the meal. The desserts included authentic indian dish sea such as rasmalai and gulab jamun as well as cakes and crumbles. I will definitely be visiting again.

Went to Asha’s around 5 in the evening to have a snack break, had been there before for dinner which was really good. Tbh their vegetarian starter menu is very limited would rather prefer dishoom (as they have a huge vegetarian selection). We ordered vegetable kebab platter, it was really good and enough to be shared between 2 people. Their drinks menu is larger than their food menu though 😂. But overall a good experience, will go without saying that it’s pricey but this is what you pay for experience and goodwill(Asha’s).

Poor customer service. After booking the restaurant initially, we had to cancel as our planned trip to Birmingham. I totally appreciate the policy of losing my deposit of £20 per person, since we cancelled >24hrs before the meal (need to cancel >48 hrs). I contacted the restaurant by email initially, following up with a call to request a receipt for the charge (to claim back expenses) as I’d had no reply within 1 week. After being promised over the phone that I would receive the receipt, this still hasn’t happened.

potentially one of the most overpriced meals I have ever had. I paid over £18 for a very average vegetarian curry (exclusive of rice etc) and my partner didn’t enjoy his fish curry, which cost almost £30 for the main dish alone. The service was good, but management need to review their prices which are completely detached from reality. They also added a non-descript charity donation to the bill - but didn’t say what charity it was going to? Absolutely wouldn’t recommend

Very nice restaurant, service was good, the waiter was very nice. The food was good, The Padpadi Chaat was ok (expensive for what it was), the sev were fresh and phulla was nice too. The Aloo Tikki was very very good, for mains we had Kadrai Paneer tasted lovely asked for spicy (wasn’t so spicy) but the sauce was absolutely lovely tasting with large chunks of paneer and Chicken Chettinadu again a lovely dish, cheese naan was very good and tandoori roti. The kids had fries which were not on the menu and a Trio of Ice Creams. The chocolate ice cream was amazing! It’s nice inside however, I feel the food was very good but seemed like something was missing and quite expensive! Ashas was a lovely restaurant with very high quality food and sophisticated decor. Perfect for a special occasion without being fussy. Plenty of partially concealed tables which were well spaced out, and they were very welcoming to our young child. It was nice to go and see why it is so popular in Brum. It is quite expensive, but it's a higher quality than your standard curry house with large portions. Look on the First table app as they often have a table available for a 5.30pm sitting which gives you 50% off your food bill if you pay £6 for your reservation, and took a welcome £40 off for us.

Dining experience was the afternoon tea at Asha’s in Birmingham. Handful of teas available, was surprised that you could only get a refill of your original selection of tea and you had to pay extra for the iced tea. Tandoori masala tea was cold and it didn’t go down too well when asked for the refill to be hot !! Service wasn’t what I would have expected from this restaurant. The only thing positive I would add is the food, both the savoury and sweet options available were tasty and very enjoyable with the vegetarian choice being the better option.

Asha’s restaurant in Birmingham is absolutely phenomenal! My wife and I went there to celebrate our 1-year anniversary, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. We started with some poppadoms and ordered a Chicken Jalfrezi with paratha and naan. Everything was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The virgin coladas we ordered were also delicious and complemented our meal perfectly. The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special, surprising us with a cake. Although we were so delighted with everything that we asked for the cake to be packed and then forgot to take it with us—our clumsiness notwithstanding, it was a lovely gesture that we greatly appreciated. Asha’s Restaurant has been a go to dining spot for me for years, & for good reason. Their Papdi Chaat starter sets the stage for a flavorful journey, usually followed by the ever reliable Palak Paneer or kadhai as a main course. While parking can be a challenge, the delightful food and occasional celebrity sightings more than make up for it. Very disappointing experience. Joined friends for a meal. I ordered tandoori fish, my meal arrived late, had obviously been forgotten. Was served with 4 chunks of white fish with a red something drizzled on top, salt granules and a few strips of lettuce. Was dreadful, could not eat it. There was only one waiter, service was slow and portions small. Would not go back.
