Asda Cafe in Wigan

Honestamente, hazte un favor y dale una falta a este lugar. Es un caos desorganizado de principio a fin. La comida es terrible, y las máquinas de bebidas de autoservicio son una pesadilla, completamente confusas de usar y propensas a derramarse por todas partes y todo el personal parece que odian absolutamente su trabajo.

Sentado tomando un café y viendo a todo el personal de la cocina acercarse a otros clientes que habían colado un perro en el café con su abrigo, salió acariciando al perro y luego volvió detrás del mostrador para comenzar a atender a más clientes, ninguno de ellos se lavó las manos y a los perros se les permitió la estancia en el café, el perro tampoco es un perro de servicio, lo que es obvio por el hecho de que está escondido dentro de un abrigo y sin arnés visible.

Pensé que el café estaba cerrado, ya que el personal simplemente ignoró que entrara y saliera de la cocina en sus teléfonos. Cuando decidieron servirme me fui por el curry de batata que estaba bien, pero como la cantidad era pequeña todavía tenía hambre, así que no buena relación calidad-precio. El té era sólo una bolsa de té en una taza. Así que no es buena relación calidad-precio así que no voy a volver.

Si pudiera dar 0 estrellas lo haría. El servicio fue impactante, el personal es incompetente y la comida (si se puede llamar así) era diabólica. Desde que me comí su calambre estomacal hoy he tenido calambres estomacales. Evite a toda costa y vaya a donde sea.

Pedí un desayuno y esperé más de media hora a que llegara. El pedido estaba mal, el mío se lo había dado a un cliente sentado detrás de mí que se quejó de que estaba mal, pero se lo comió de todos modos. Entonces parecieron olvidarse de mí hasta que pregunté y luego otros 20 minutos de espera. Los cubiertos están manchados y sucios. Terminé usando las cosas de madera

Firstly, I can't fault the staff for friendliness. But, I'm here for a satisfactory experience overall. The drinks station isn't really up to scratch. I've encountered flies around the area. It could definitely be improved on cleanliness. The milk had run out too on one of the machines. Although I shop at Asda on a weekly basis, I feel the overall experience at the café would be better in one of the other leading chain supermarkets instead. Not the best experience.

I don't expect it to be The Ritz, but I do expect clean crockery, free from unsightly defects like scratches and chips, and that white plates are white, not grey.

Called for over 60's soup deal...no soup so they said we coul have a sandwich. Choice of spread cheese or ham...well that's what kids get in their £1 meal ! I wouldn't give it to my dog ...the coffee and drinks machines were dirty...never been cleaned in some time !

The staff are extremely nice, can't take that away. They need to be supplied with better, updated reliable equipment. Someone needs to implement a better system. Bacon should not be cooked and left heated, it should be cooked to order. Otherwise it feels like your chewing a piece of tough rubber. The last time I had a fry up in asda, just before Christmas. I left the bacon, it was just to much hard work to chew to be honest. For the prices you charge you should at least cook food fresh. Numerous times I have visited, and there have been shortages of food products advertised on the menu. In addition to this, there have also been certain products on the menu, like eggs, for example. A fry up comes with a fried egg in the UK, but the hotplate has been broken. You need a chef, and pay him/her what theyre worth, for goodness sake! Do you want people to come back to your cafe or not? You need a manager for the restaurant also. And if you don't want to hire a manager, and pay them their worth. Then give your team some bloody organisational training. As it is a disorganised chaos. The girls flapping around, because their not receiving adequate guidance, direction and structure. Please make some changes Asda! I will not be using your restaurant again. I'm pretty sure, I'm not the only one who has these setiments. It is not functioning efficiently, and it needs sorting. Maybe if you treat your staff better, and pay them a better wage. The team spirit will lift, and they will actually be more proactive in making the cafe a better dining experience! Sort it out Asda, treat your cafe staff better, provide reliable equipment to them, don't over charge for mediocre food and service, and inspect the cutlery before putting it out to be used to assist human consumption. That's another story!

Awful Uncleared tables, the tables that were cleared were dirty and unclean. Staff not schooled in the art of customer service hence the thumb in my food when brought to the table. Never again Get a grip ASDA

Can't believe how this cafe has deteriorated, was grubby, dirty tables and floor. The staff completely ignored us at the counter. Waited while she made toast, plated up and then went out to take it to the table. There was only us waiting but she didn't even acknowledge us. Ordered food and it was barely warm, one tiny piece of fatty bacon and an egg to spread across 2 pieces of toast. The drinks station was disgusting. No wonder it was empty. Used to be a great place to eat. Won't be going again.

Shocking, staff seemed uninterested, barely anything available from the menu. Till area was grubby as were the tables and the kitchen didn’t look too great either. Opted for lasagna with chips, when it finally came, the food came out luke warm, tasteless and greasy! Yeah, won’t be going back!!

I took my grandson for breakfast. The cafe was almost empty. We had the breakfast deal £6 for 1 sausage 1 bacon 1 hash brown half a tomato beans.? Egg and toast and a hot drink I say egg but I was told it was only scrambled egg, not fried. To me it was powdered reconstituted egg. Was it worth £6 a plate? I don't think so. Morrisons breakfast all the time or even McDs in future. Won't be going back.
