Consistently good authentic food and great service. Been here many times and have never been disapointed. Decided to go on a whim a week ago, they fitted us in, even though they were busy. Excellent as alway.

Travelled over an hour to find this hidden gem to celebrate my mother’s birthday and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was brilliant. 5 stars 👍👍

A spur of the moment craving took us to this fantastic Thai restaurant in Hucknall. We hadn't booked, but that was no trouble (however, I would encourage as the restaurant was nearly full), we were met and seated before looking through the extensive menu - Loads of choice. We settled on a set menu, to try as many dishes as possible, and everyone was flavourful and delicious. Drinks were reasonably priced, service was excellent and surroundings great. No hesitation recommending a fantastic restaurant like this.

Amazing Father's Day meal at Arunothai. It was our first time eating here and we couldn't have been happier that we picked here to celebrate. The service was impeccable, the food was outstanding and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will definitely be returning for many more meals and celebrations. A lovely cosy, friendly and decorated space with accommodative servers that are eager to help you with your menu choices, and any queries in general. The atomsphere is very positive and seeming by how good the food is, the wait times are minimal! Warm towels are offered at the end of your meal so that you can wipe your hands which is a very nice touch, alongside the many paintings, plants and statues! Would definitely reccommend this place for any gathering, just remember to book a reservation in advance for gatherings with 4 or more people, so that the staff may preapre your table in advance!

My friend and I ate here last night and WOW, for such a quaint place in a location that's quite off the beaten track in Hucknall....it was AMAZING!! I have eaten a lot of Thai and Asian food around the Nottingham area, it's one of my favourite cuisines. I've eaten at Giggling Squid in West Bridgford, Paste Nottingham and many others... this place surpasses them all in terms of the food itself and the service. The flavours were absolutely incredible!! Definitely worth a visit and a longer journey for those living in the centre of Nottingham, otherwise you are truly missing out on a HIDDEN GEM!

Enjoyed a lovely upmarket dining experience today on the outskirts of Hucknall-- a late Mother's day treat. Tasteful, leafy decor and Thai ornaments added to the exotic ambiance while we enjoyed the subtle flavours of the artistically presented dishes.👏👏👏 Everything was very flavourful and the staff attentive and friendly. The wine is surprisingly reasonably priced, too! Definitely be going there again soon.😊

One of our favorite restaurants..... happened upon it many years ago and it was very quiet, but still amazing. The secret is definitely out, you will likely need to book now or have a takeaway as everyone has found this gem. The food is exceptional and flavorsome, the staff are incredibly busy, but remain attentive and kind beyond measure. It is an absolutely fantastic Thai restaurant and the fact that they cater well for vegetarians as well is a bonus for us.

Brilliant food as always! Although very busy (which is already a good sign) the staff were still exceptionally helpful, pleasant and friendly. The dishes were served in typical thai fashion, little bamboo purses or wrapped in leaves, beautifully presented, depending on what the dish was but altogether a lovely evening, thank-you!

Fabulous place to experience real Thai cuisine. A great choice of starters and different types of main dishes, including noodles, thai soups, rice dishes, specialist meat, fish and vegetable dishes plus lots, lots more! Spoilt for choice! Also, a choice of fixed price meals ranging in price. Chose the mixed starter platter for 2 - delicious and generous. For mains I had the king prawns with rice noodles - again, it was perfect. Service was excellent and the meal was very good value for money. Restaurant is pleasantly set out in typical east Asian decor. Overall a perfect Asian experience. Will definitely go again!

Me and my friends had an absolute wonderful time here, loved the food and service. The jasmine tea was exquisite and the hot towels afterwards was a beautiful touch. All round brilliant and we will be back. Much love.

Not sure what's happened to this place as I have been many times and it's been good. Tom yum soup was horrendous, no flavour at all or spice.. Pad Thai was very average..

We had a lovely time at arunothai restaurant. There’s small free parking lot just outside the restaurant but only have spaces for 6-7 cars. The inside is not very spacious but quite cozy and the decorations surely make you feel like you’re dining in Thailand! Service is top notched and foods overall are delicious although doesn’t fancy much of egg fried rice. Highly recommend this lovely place!

Arunothai is my favourite and my go-to restaurant and take away in Hucknall. The food is delicious, the staff are great and best of all they have a lot of gluten-free options available.

Everything about this place was great, except that they seemed to have left the chilli out of all the dishes. I am pretty sure authentic Thai food should be searingly hot, yet even the spiciest (3 chilli) dishes on the menu were only vaguely warm. I appreciate not everyone likes heat, but offering people a choice might help keep everyone happy.

We have been coming here for years. The food is authentic and cooked fresh to order. Practically tried most of the menu. Our favourites are the Thai green curry and fish dishes. On a sunny day, it's great to sit on their terrace. Service is attentive and friendly. For a true taste of Thailand,there is no better. Forget the chains and try the best independent Thai restaurant in Nottinghamshire. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! My father took me and my sister for something to eat and I fell in love! They provide a huge range of vegan food. I had to take my partner a week later and she loved it as much as I did. We will definitely be going there again

Lovely food. Fantastic staff. We have been working our way through the menu on different visits for a few months now. The car parking is more than adequate. No problem if the booking is for 2 people or a larger group, you get the same attention and service regardless of what you spend.

Food was fabulous and great atmosphere. They struggled to bring everything out together for a party of 8, but other than that it was delicious food and would go again next time I am in Benidorm! Go and try it!

Been dining here regularly for several years, latterly with my late mother and it's a hidden gem. The restaurant is full on Saturday lunchtime, speaks for itself. Had a chat with a couple who had won their lunch on a raffle and were delighted, could not speak highly enough and would be returning. The owners Adrian and Leo offer service with attention and precision. Nothing is too much trouble. Superb beer terrace for after dinner coffee. A lovely place for Thai food and in my opinion takes some beating. Thanks to Adrian, Leo and superb chefs.

A great authentic Thai experience. Staff is very lovely and all their dishes are spot on with blast of flavour! I will recommend to try whole fish grilled in banana leaf 🤪 pad Thai is so classic, but so tasty here! Oh I forgot to mention my fav chicken coconut soup! This was my wife's favourite restaurant, during her treatment we wasn't able to go in person as we used to, but we did get the odd takeaways. This was our first visit after her passing. It was hard to dine with my children and her not there with us, but Adrian and Leo was absolutely fantastic. They did what they do best, and serve amazing authentic food with relaxed service. This is definitely one of our favourite Thai restaurants in Nottingham. 10/10

Fantastic food, very friendly staff and atmosphere. Our first visit, so we selected a banquet meal to get a good selection, and we were not disappointed. We are planning our next visit and will select our usual dishes plus some of the new ones we were lucky to sample. Coconut rice, lightly battered pork stir fry, and Arunothai mixed platter appetiser were amazing. The whole table was mmmm at every mouthful, a beautiful tasting meal.

Visited last night the restaurant was quite busy we had booked. We were shown to our table straight away. We had a meal served as per the menu pipping hot a very nice bottle of wine and finished with coffee. The attention of the staff...

My all time favourite Thai restaurant - I recommend this hidden gem to everyone who enjoys a luxurious restaurant experience. Staff are great and know the menu inside and out, you can ask for recommendations and they'll tell you all about the dishes. They're also very aware of allergens and will advise accordingly as well and ensure food is served separately. We've had takeaway and eaten in the restaurant many times, on special occasions they will comp you a free drink which is such a lovely gesture. I return here time and time again and I've never been disappointed by the food or service. Such a fab place!

Firstly the bad stuff beef was not quite lean. Prawn crackers were simple. Bean sprouts lacked flavour. Now we good stuff nearly a five. Service excellent l. Food all round good. Comfortably full would go back.
