Artisan Grill in Hammersmith and Fulham

We were greeted and served by Florin tonight at the Artisan grill . He was very attentive , warm and friendly and we had a lovely evening. He also remembered us from our previous trips . Thanks Florin for everything and we will return tomorrow.

Whilst staying at the Novotel London West we decided to try the Artisan restaurant, warm professional greeting by the restaurant manager, attended by a young lady (Apologies for no names) the menu was selective and to the right size no gargantuan choices, we both started with the goats cheese mouse with apple & parsnip which was light plentiful and very tasty, my wife settled for the Lamb shank which looked beautiful and she assured me that it was, I settled for the Hereford Rare Breed rib eye (Rare) which I must say was cooked to perfection and it must count as one of the best steaks that I have had for a long time, I rather greedily settled for the dark chocolate mouse and raspberry sorbet which was excellent, the table service was quietly unassuming and at the right level not the constant interruptions checking to see everything was okay a very good dining experience (Saturday evening 530 pm 25/1/20) Highly recommended

We were served by Carlos, a really nice waiter. He was helpful and always smiling. We had a good time.

Durante su estancia en el hotel, elegimos comer en el restaurante ya que nuestra experiencia previa con la comida allí fue la mejor.Optamos por el salmón que estaba absolutamente perfecto, cocinado con lados adicionales de verduras y papas (costo adicional). La calidad de la comida era excepcional, fresca, caliente y deliciosa.Lo seguimos con un postre de frutilla de frambuesa que, aunque parecía pequeña en el plato, sin duda llenaba y completaba nuestra comida de la mejor manera posible.El servicio de todos fue muy superior al estándar y es un crédito para el hotel y su gerencia, quienes deberían estar realmente orgullosos del equipo.

Hemos estado alojados en hotel novotel, el cual tiene este restaurante, desde el primer dia un lujo el servicio, muy amables, atentos y simpaticos. Sin lugar a dudas nos hemos sentido como en casa, ademas de ponernos en zonas tranquilas ya que ibamos con nuestro bebe. Muy buen servicio por Tim y Michaela. Tuve mi pizza carbonara sin gluten que era de clase mundial e incluso en Italia difícil de encontrar. En realidad, todo el buffet del almuerzo era delicioso y de excelente calidad. Somos del Principado de Mónaco, sabemos lo que es bueno y solo podemos recomendar el Novotel London West por cualquier estándar.

My friends and I visited the Novotel establishment and really enjoyed the personal level of service offered to us by Angela. She was friendly, attentive and made sure we felt completely at home during our visit. I would return to this venue based on her service.

I spent one night at Novotel on a business trip. The food at the restaurant was simply great, the salmon filet was extremely tasty and perfectly cooked. I got a Negroni which was a little too strong for my taste, but still quite enjoyable. What really put a bow on the dinner was the service: I was quite tired and not paying much attention to the restaurant setting so I ended up in the buffet section, and asked to change to ‘à la carte’ despite having started eating already. Radmila and the rest of the staff were extremely accommodating, looking for the best way to match what I already had with some of the starters in the menu. I guess Radmila saw I looked quite lost, so she spent a few minutes into conversation, which I really appreciated. Would definitely come back!

We had the buffet dinner here, the variety of food including roast beef was delicious, and it is reasonably priced for a buffet meal in a hotel. On another occasion we had steak and seafood for dinner, the steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. Really satisfied with our dining experience here.

Durante il soggiorno in hotel abbiamo avuto modo di provare la ristorazione interna con una cena abbondante e varia a buffet che valutiamo positivamente, un po' meno per la pizza, una nota di merito per Dragana la quale ci ha ben consigliato e ha interagito con simpatia e disponibilità.

What happened 2 days ago, was once again proven true; a great service, very nice people, ready to help and assist you with anything necessary. Although it was a self-service breakfast (or dinner), people would always do more than expected.

I have never experienced a such wonderful service from this Resteraunt but Angelina is the exceptional one I’ve ever seen. To everyone out there that loves a good steak... you MUST visit the artisan grill! Their steak is so juicy and succulent you’d think you’re tasting a bit of Argentina! Honestly the best rib eye steak I’ve ever had. Give it a try, you won’t regret it. Awesomeness.

Had duck confit the first night. The duck was tender but too salty for me. On the second night, I had the steak -- it's delicious. What impressed me most is the service. I was served by Tim the second night. He made sure that the steak was not too salty and also changed the fries that comes with the steak to salad when I said I would like some greens. Highly recommended for the food and service.

I have visited in the beginning of December with my cousin. Very nice staff and great atmosphere. The food was just amazing. My cousin had Truffle and wild mushroom risotto and i had ribeye steak which was cooked just as i wanted. Haven't had such a good steak for long time. I can definitely recomend and for sure will be coming back.

After a business meeting, we are often looking for a great restaurant in the heart of Hammersmith near the Broadway. We've visited a range of hits and misses - more of the latter sadly - over the past 20 years or so. Last nigh, we tried something new - hotel food! I'm not usually as massive fan of hotel restaurants but the Artisan Grill proved to be a real find in an off beat location. Situated inside the Novotel Hammersmith, the restaurant is spacious, the staff very friendly and attentive, the ambiance more than pleasant and, for our purposes, selfishly quiet. We were welcomed by Tim with service best described as discreet without being overbearing. there when you needed him, invisible when not. Perfect! Ice-breaker drinks were followed by an intriguing range of starters. Mostly opted for the cup-a-soup Cornish crab chowder which only suffered from size rather than deliciousness. More! My ox ham was perfect. My colleagues onion tart was tangy, savoury and beautifully baked. To the mains! 5 fillet steaks ranging from well done through medium well through medium rare to my 'blue' were cooked to absolute perfection. My other colleague's steamed trout was 'excellent'. Not one complaint about dishes being over or under done. A range of traditional steak-enhancing sauces are available but I prefer my steak 'naked'. Great food requires no distractions. Slight disappointment with the stringfellow fries served in an overly fussy enamel cup. More at home in a fast food restaurant, they appeared well out of place in this upmarket venue. These steaks wanted big steak chips - and deservedly so! A limited but delicious range of desserts are available for the gastronomically brave since starters and main courses are very filling. A good, if somewhat overpriced range of wines helped the steaks and desserts on their way to our waistlines. The food was so exceptional that we asked to see the chef to offer our thanks. Davide appeared from the kitchen, surprisingly fresh faced from the evening's service, to our round of well deserved applause. An Italian by origin, he is an absolute asset to the hotel as are the very attentive and patient waiting staff. We left, already looking to our next visit in 2019. 10 out of 10 on so many levels.

Good variety of food, cosy, but most of all the Spanish staff makes it all. Friendly, genuinely kind people like Yeelén who served my table. Keep up the good work!

The food was always hot and buffet style at night and with a very good selection and friendly staff at night and at breakfast which was served at 0600 in the morning.

A la mañana siguiente, sorprendentemente, se me acercó y saludó mientras yo estaba desayunando y mi posición estaba frente a la pared. Me sorprendió que todavía me reconociera tan bien. Excellent service by Rodrigo, with a delicious meal of beef cheeks paired with a terrific Crianza, Don Jacobo, 2011. Brought a book, enjoyed a traditional European dinner, one you don't get often in the States. Delightful way to end the day.

I must make clear that breakfast at Novotel is in both Artisan and Aroma Areas. My evening meal was in Aroma, but only because when I went to book a table there was no-one in Artisan-not even a Menu out. But the entrance staff were the same for both and I noticed no difference in attitude in each area. Maybe they're all disgruntled and hate their job, but that's no reason to take it out on guests! Stayed at Novotel for 2 nights B&B and booked an evening meal as well. Despite the fact that I was on my own and walk with the aid of a stick I was seated at the furthest point from the breakfast buffet which meant numerous trips to get food. At no point did any staff member ask if I needed / would like help. To put this into perspective, other guests did offer to help me! I did not enjoy the cooked breakfast the first morning so decided on cold buffet the second. The selection was impressive but there were no large cold plates so I asked a member of staff who was replenishing the fruits if he could get me one. He looked at me, indicated the small plates and said "You SHOULD use these." Then, not a little indignantly, he went off for a plate. At the evening meal I decided on carvery and that took 2 visits - one for the meat and then a second for the vegetables. I opted for dessert which was a selection of pastry-type sweetmeats (which I didn't have) and cheeses. The cheeseboard was not set out well and another guest asked for sharp cheese knives (rather than the dessert knives supplied) and scissors to cut off the grapes. These never arrived and she returned to her table. There was a good selection of breads but as these were not cut and staff members were seemingly busy restocking, another guest helped me. Once again no-one was looking out for guests who may need help. Even at 7pm there was only 3 crackers left on a lower 'shelf'. I guess it's a great place for people who can 'help themselves' which is what the two young women on the table next to me did (returning again and again for pastries, etc) but absolutely dreadful for people who have difficulty walking and carrying more than a small amount at a time.

My partner and I went to the Novotel Grill last Wednesday evening after work, the food was exceptional, and came quickly and beautifully presented, the service was very well done and the waiters were very helpful. I would go back again for another special occasion.

It was far from busy but service was really slow. I understand food takes time to cook but that doesn't mean staff need fail to clear plates once food is eaten. Talking amongst themselves rather than serving customers isn't going to win customer service prizes.

Hammersmith roundabout a brutal, uninviting place, the Novotel exterior no better. But once inside, and in the Grill, sanctuary, serenity and excellent sustenance. Good varied menu, well priced, and hearty portions, to feed the high-achieving business mind. A very practical location, brilliantly supported by such quality eats... a regular for me.

Very professional staff, but food is average and not tasty as well, not too mention expensive. Lovely decor and quiet restaurant, as long as the place is not busy. Convenient if you do not want to leave the hotel.

The menu is a great variety of dishes and it was difficult to choose which ones were most appealing . I went for the rib eye steak in the end and it was cooked to perfection. The portion size was excellent and the quality of the dishes was very high. The staff (especially Sylvia) were attentive and professional and certainly enhanced the dining experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough if you are staying in the area. 10/10!

Wie immer bei einem Restaurant gibt es ein paar entscheidende Faktoren. Beim Artisan Grill stimmten die beiden wichtigen Faktoren, die Qualität des Essens und die Art der Bedienung. Wir wurden sehr gut von Alvaro bedient, auch was die Empfehlungen für die Speisen anging.

I had the fish and chips that was gigantic. Also had the hamburger sliders and discovered it was for at least 3 people.

Excellent buffet in the grill with two courses costing no more than £17. Extensive wine list with good quality wines at typical London prices. Service was excellent when we asked for a new joint to be cut rather the scragg end of the previous one.

I usually eat at the bar as by the time I get there Artisan Grill is readying to close. The bar does really good food and is great value. I have eaten at Artisan and if you are looking for a treat then it;s a great option.

In speaking to other people who had been there several days, this is the best restaurant in the area by far and from our limited experience I would have to agree.

Pour 6 £ de plus vous aurez un menu avec 3 plats (entrée, plat et dessert).Petit bonus, le menu moins de 12 ans est à 50% et gratuit pour les enfants si vous prenez un menu adulte avec 2 plats au moins.C'est à faire si vous ne voulez pas ressortir de l’hôtel pour dîner.

We had two meals there- lunch and dinner. For lunch I had the fish and chips and my wife had the salmon three ways. Both were excellent. For dinner my wife again chose the salmon three ways and I had the "English wagyu" ribeye. It was a small portion (and they do tell you the weight) but it was delicious. As a starter I had the foie gras, which always lures me into places.

Menu looked appealing the wagyu beef looked pricey at £29 plus extras such as fries, pepper sauce, veg wasn't as tasty as I had hoped the meat from my local farm shop was as good if not better for the price I would have preferred my own local produce however my linguine with crab starter was excellent great tasting sauce and pasta just al dente exactly to my liking but for the price of the meal I feel I could have had better value elsewhere

I have stayed in the Novotel a number of times and never ate in the restaurant. I was offered a table as I was checking in and I decided to go for it. The food was good, but the staff attitude was terrible. Never come back
