Kindred in Hammersmith and Fulham

A senior couple. After a show at the Eventim Apollo we wanted something to eat. Didn't want to travel far so we found the Cellar at Kindred off the Broadway shopping centre. We had a lovely meal.... himself had the pork chop an I had a power bowl. We had a side of of cabbage which was delicious.... (I would never have thought cabbage and delicious would be paired!) Cannot fault the place at all... attentive staff, hot tasty food.... you cannot ask for better.

I hired the top floor of Kindred (the Library and the Salon bar) for a private party - it was fantastic. Particular credit has to go to Anna A, who was involved throughout the booking process and ensured everything was properly organised for the big night. Also big thanks to sound technician Nick, and Charles on staff, whose attentiveness made sure the night went smoothly. Drinks were flowing, and food was delicious. Kindred is a lovely venue for private hire, tastefully decorated, not so big as to lose intimacy, and overall a really pleasant venue. I'd definitely hire it again!

We found out about Cellar at this year's Cocktails in the City. So pleased we checked it out - fantastic cocktails, really good food and a great atmosphere, even though it wasn't very busy. We will definitely come back.

Went for a late lunch with my brother, the location has a nice terrace and lovely interiors, so we decided to go there. I asked for a glass of White wine from Bourgogne. It tasted like the bottle had been open for weeks but I decided not to complain as we were planning on having a quick meal. We ordered the Carbonara pizzetta- bland in taste, bad dough, no pecorino flavour and big, chewy chunks of fat from “pancetta” on top of each slice; this made it quite awkward to eat. It also had an egg yolk in the middle…completely unnecessary and too messy, you could only taste the yolk. Also ordered the charcuterie board, this was affettati of 3 meats with no bread, no cornichons not even some butter on the side. The meats were average, lacked flavour but were fresh. Ordered the ravioli- extremely weird, I understand they are vegan but they were pretty much gyozas with a gummy texture, not ravioli. Sprinkled old pistachios and vegan ricotta on top with excessive tasteless oil…do not recommend. Had the bruschetta, the ricotta on top was delicious, needed some salt, the confit tomatoes can improve, they were a bit bland and not enough compared to the amount of cheese and the toast…way too thin, it crumbled like nothing and could barely taste it bc of thin it was, tho it was quite crunchy which is a plus The one great thing was the bread and butter, but how can you go wrong with that! I asked for the bill as we had to rush off and whilst I still had the bread in my hand the waitress decided to take the plates away and I had to ask her to let me finish my bread. Overall, pretty looks, disappointing food Do not recommend

It was a special get together for us and was perfectly kicked off by brunch at Cellar. Rhubarb cocktails, Prosecco, and the food was oh so delicious. Staff too deserve a mention. They were all charming, accommodating and professional. Thank you!

The menu was full of unique combinations, and although I rarely have a meal with no meat, I chose vegetarian options this time because they were just so interesting (eg. celeriac schnitzel topped with wild mushrooms). The classic/contemporary layout of the wine list was intriguing, and the wines by the glass that I ended up choosing were both outstanding. Loved the atmosphere and friendly staff too. All made for a great dinner out with my wife.

What a great place - delicious & reasonably-priced food, friendly & attentive staff, cosy setting. The outside space looked lovely too though not on a chilly April evening. We shared one of the salad small plates - the seasonal (veggie) Caesar salad, which was tasty & crunchy. Then we each had a different Pizzette (small, thin base) & shared these. The base was perfectly cooked and both toppings (the aubergine & the Jerusalem artichoke) were equally good. The food, 2 beers + service came to £22 each - good value for these times! Will definitely return next time I'm in Hammersmith (super convenient for the Apollo).

Great place to eat before visiting The Apollo. The food was really good ... fresh and tasty. We couldn't decide which wine to have so our waiter suggested we have their 'taster' option. A selection of small glasses to enjoy throughout our meal. This was perfect! and a fantastic idea. Will be returning soon.

Not local …. But so glad I found this beautiful venue ! We had lovely wine , dinner was burger & the most sublime veggie truffle pasta . Beautiful setting ! Fantastic friendly service from Oliver !

We were lucky to get a table at short notice here. Interesting menu, particularly the wines. Most seemed to be from emerging regions such as a Maldivian sparkling ref haft was excellent. The food was good too. Quite a few vegetarian options included.

Went for a meal in Hammersmith on a Saturday evening at the last minute and managed to get into Kindred and how glad we did. The place was buzzing what an atmosphere with outdoor seating and a DJ playing tunes from the balcony above. There was plenty of staff serving so not a long wait for anything. We had a table inside which was a bit quieter and we chose the House Burger and Fries and I am glad we did the fries were absolutely gorgeous and the Burger was honestly one of the best I have ever eaten, will definitely go back when we are in Hammersmith again.

I would be back here tonight if I lived closer, but sadly we were going to the Apollo and found this gem of a restaurant by accident and it's not a venue we go to often. Service- superb Food- bloody amazing I follow a keto diet and there was great stuff for me and so so tasty. Squash hummus was delish, but what I loved most was that the crudités were fennel, cucumber, radish and pepper. I hate Carrots and it was so nice not to have the usual with a dip. Salt cod croquettes were declared gorgeous by husband and his burger the best he's had. I had incredible Mackerel. Think I might just look at the apollo website to see what's on so we have an excuse to eat here again.

Really nice place tucked round the back of the station. Quite understated but very good drinks menu and a lovely. Didn’t try the food but it looked really nice. Service was really good and am looking forward to going back next time we’re in the area.

I went to their public-facing restaurant Cellar . Enjoyed the food particularly the beef tartare the food seemed fresh and was tasty would go again.

We hosted my husbands 40th here and cannot recommend the venue enough! The upstairs space is stunning, and all our guests raved about how delicious the food and drinks were. Most of all the staff were so wonderful and accommodating, from planning the event to the night of, they couldn’t have been more helpful! We all had an amazing time thanks to them. Can’t wait to go back and reminisce the night!

A really relaxed and comfortable vibe, a space I regularly love to spend time in now. Delicious coffee and really enjoyed both the almond croissant for breakfast and the pizzas for lunch / dinner with a beer! Highly recommend.

Lovely coffee bar downstairs and big open bar / restaurant upstairs. Service fantastic food great. ‘Neck oil’ beer on tap which I hadn’t seen before. Should beat pretty much all other options in the area hands down.
