Amo este lugar. La selección de bebidas es una locura si no puedes encontrar algo que te guste, entonces dejaría de beber, no es para ti. La comida es barata, barata, pero la calidad es excelente. Una de las mejores estacas de 10 onzas que jamás haya tenido la lasaña es irreal. Recomiendo ambas cosas. Además, sin olvidar el personal, son realmente amables, el bar una vez (La señora del bar) era un verdadero gruñón. y sin olvidar el happy hour, es genial para las bebidas baratas un viernes antes de llegar a Leeds. Called in for a quick bite to eat, the food came quickly, was piping hot and delicious! The pint was top notch too! Good atmosphere, shame we couldn't stay longer!

Came in for date night and walked into live music from a solo act. Ordered the buttermilk chicken and the lasagne and a couple ales, from a guy called Jim, and I must say compliments to the chef and bartenders! Followed by good atmosphere from a duo, all in all, very enjoyable date!

Been in recently with a younger member of the family .good customer service from bar staff and the member of staff who brought out the food was very friendly . The menu had plenty of options we opted for the pizza's which are a generously sized. Was an over all great visit

came here for birthday drink with bunch of friends and we loved it so much we stayed for dinner too! And what a night it was! Amazing cocktails, the chicken burger was great and there was live music too. The staff is very good and helpful. Will be coming back soon!

Recently went to Around the World with my friends on a Groupon Deal. Often unsure on these but wow was I surprised. The pizza I had was great and my friends Burger looked lovely. We stayed for a few drinks which were really nice and Sam was a great cocktail maker and attentive host.

Spent a few hours enjoying the craic and a few beers. One of our group took on the MVF challenge a metre of hot dog and fries in 20 mins. Fair to say he failed but only just good fun was had by all. Good music and all kinds of drinks a must go venue.

Simply amazing! That burger is to die for. Staff was really nice and cocktail of the week was in theme of Game Of Thrones!!! Brilliant place!

We have been here 3 or 4 times and never been disappointed. The food is great and a fantastic choice of drinks. Must also add that the service from Sam, Kerry and The Chef was exemplary. We will definitely be returning.

Very busy quite a younger crowd, live DJ was playing some good 90s Brit pop tunes while a band where setting up, service was swift, I can recommend the fruit beer very tasty.

My husband and I had a groupon voucher for a burger and drink. The burger was delicious and proper beef. Was served a little on the cool side but overall good value.Pleasant bar and nice cocktails Obliging staff

Burger was alright, nothing special. It was very quiet when we went which probably affected the mood of the lunch. Aside from the food, they have a very good selection of drinks. Would probably go back for a cheap lunch.

Remember this location from years ago but now so much nicer. Great variety of beers including real ales from around the world, loved the Mahou. Also a wide range of spirits, again some of my favourites including Yamazaki malt whisky. Inspiring cocktail selection and good looking food menu.Attached to, and part of this venue are Shooters Sports Bar and BierkellerThe staff are friendly, knowledgeable and keep the bar clean and tidyThe bar also has a very generous happy hour, running from midday to 8.00PM with a number of offers on a number of drinks. This includes Carlsberg at £1.70 bottles from £2.So glad to have popped in a couple of weeks ago and been back many times.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and the bar was quite busy. However it didn't take long to get served and the cocktails are great value for money as they were 2 for 1 and strong! Definitely recommend it

The Around the World restaurant & bar is situated on the Headrow Leeds opposite te Art Gallery & Leeds Town Hall.Upstairs is Shooters Sports Bar Each of us had a different burger served with chips and a mini pot of coleslaw.I must say the food was "Excellent" the burgers looked like mini towers. All cooked perfectly with a generous portion on skinny crispy chips. All the food was hot and nicely presented. The actual seating area was very chilled and relaxed. Everything was superb.A most enjoyable afternoon with friends.Connor the lad behind the bar and the guy who greeted us really made our visit and looked after us really well.I would most definitely recommend it to everyone I know. Great place to meet and have a few drinks and a bite to eat in the centre of Leeds Why not try it out??Also different themes on different days as well as Happy Hour.Looking forward to my next visit

Ate here with friends and family at lunchtime small menu but what we had was good .games tables upstairs kept the boys busy and drinks were reasonable prices would like to return for happy hour. The staff were very pleasant

Called for a drink 3adults 2 kids we asked if the kids could come in and the welcome couldn't be nicer. Chap behind the bar informed us it was happy hour and what drinks were what price. He also told us pool wasxfree upstairs and the kids were welcome to play really good service and nice cocktails long island ice tea excellent.

You can not pay on card if it's under £5 and if you spend under £10 then you get charged 50p!! Other local bars don't seem to have any card charges and I don't believe that the charge to them is 50p per transaction. Small business don't even charge that much. The beer isn't as cheap as other places and the extra charge is just not needed. The first time I was served I wasn't even told about the charge so I imagine many are unaware and are getting charged 50p multiple times throughout the night.

Around the world is possibly the best place in leeds for unusual beers.. 'Dues was especially chilled and great to share! Great with the homemade pizzas. Extra thanks to the chef karl for helping me choose from the good choice. Despite been a busy Friday lunch Sam was attentive

I visited Around The World with my mother, for a 'quick catch up and lunch'. We was warmly greeted by the member of staff who was on.. (tall bloke with glasses, Conner I think he said his name was) he was very helpful, and we had our drinks brought to our table and he proceeded to ask us for our food order.. I had an home made lasagne and my mother had the buttermilk chicken salad (because she's on a diet) the wait for food was amazing we waited about 8/10 mins for it, and I will say.. I would of gladly waited longer, the food was amazing.. so much for our 'quick lunch' we stayed a few more hours, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed, we thought we was at home and hired a waiter lol.. I will be bringing my friends for 'quick lunch and catch ups'

Visited here the other day and I had such a laugh, the bartender was so friendly pretty sure his name was Sam.. I ordered the lasagne and my friend ordered the steak, both were cooked perfectly, no complaints from me. Dj was decent and was just a great night, will definitely be returning in the near future Thanks a lot :)

Visited this bar many times over the past few years, always have great offers on a Friday and good music plus the beer selection is incredible

Came here with friends.. I was the driver they had no pop on draft only Pepsi and lemonade in bottles.. still charged £2 for flat pop out of a bottle.. friend ordered a cocktail and the barman dropped dirty money into and didn't offer to change the cocktail.. on the plus side complained to the manager and he replaced the cocktail and did offer a bottle of j20

Nice food, good selection of alcohol and nice bar staff.This was another visit to this pub and this time was with a Groupon voucher with my 12yr old, the staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome, the guy who served us went out of his way to help. The quality of food was excellent and couldn't fault it. We will defo be returning to Leeds and to this pub.

On our weekly day off we love visiting other places and today we headed for Leeds and found this place as they take tastecard. Declan our server, barman all round good egg was really attentive even managed to get me to buy craft beer! That never happens! Hand made pizza was awesome and only £4! Full marks and thank you, we'll be back!

Enjoyed my visit here with my girl and her wuk staff. Had a few crabbies and watched the footy whilst she sipped wine and chatted amongst work colleagues.Not cheap but midrange prices for Leeds. I'd go again, just make sure the protector wasn't turning on and off every five minutes again. Could of missed a goal! The building is big, there are plenty of seating and loads of TVs, great for sports

This is a good bar with an incredible selection of world lagers and beers. It's a great location, the staff are good and if your into sport then Shooters is only a staircase away. The main problem I have with this place though is how loud the music is during the day. I understand it's a city centre bar but it's just so over bearing and with the superb drinks on offer it should be a place to relax, unwind and enjoy the best selection of beers the world has to offer.

We went for the groupon, it's pretty tight on the time constraints but it's an absolute steal. Two meal and a drink for £11? For this quality is great.It was quiet so the food arrived fast and the service was great.Only issue is there isn't that much seating that isn't on stools, I personally aren't a fan of eating on a stool.Will be coming back here to eat again.

Whilst they have a reasonable section of drinks, we were really disappointed with the atmosphere within the bar and also the service. Depending which bar man/woman you got depended on the level of service you received. Some barely acknowledged you with a smile and continued to talk to their colleagues. Further to this, the toilets were not nice at all and I always say you should rate a place on their toilets. Don't get me wrong, we may go again, but it really isn't anything to rave about.

Went with my friend for lunch - was really quiet but the food was alright - I had a pizza which was good, but my friend asked for a burger with cheese and well done bacon, when it came the burger was also well done so a little dry. Other than that was fine, would probably go again

Came here with friends on Saturday, pretty nice style inside i like the barrel tables and whatnot, no good drinks deals, music was too loud for speaking at 3 in the afternoon. Overall average, would maybe consider nipping In again, as the strawberry beer was decent

Did a groupon deal with my friend. I had a pizza which was pretty good, just a little doughy, so could've been thinner and crispier but still good! My friend had a burger and asked for her bacon well done, which also resulted in the burger being well done, so a little dry, but she said she still enjoyed it. Popped in here before going to bierkeller and as we were sat down a magician came over. His tricks were ace, he was a pretty funny guy and it made one of the best bits of the night

Booked a good value deal for two Aunts and my cousin which we had on Wed. Pizzas were delicious, but the Classic Burger was poor had we have paid the full price!!! The service was good by one particular lad behind the bar who waited on us with a smile and nothing was too much trouble for him, but I do not recommend the coffee which we purchased as an extra.....was Luke warm and not much taste.

The clue is in the title, however, I love visiting this place because of the endless selection of beers. Well worth visiting on a Thursday, when you will be able to relax and enjoy a good live music set.

We bought a voucher for any pizza, burger or salad and a drink, as we had seen a lot of positive reviews. It was empty at 1pm when we first entered, but it soon filled up, and the atmosphere was quite (even if the tables were a bit dirty). However, we were told after we had ordered pizza that there was no dough ready, so we opted for one gourmet beef burger and an Asian salad. Neither came as advertised. The Asian salad that arrived contained absolutely none of the ingredients mentioned on the menu except noodles, which were soggy and drenched in balsamic vinegar (which wasn't a listed ingredient anyway) and the burger that came wasn't a gourmet burger, and the coleslaw was very obviously not made by them. I feel this was the fault of the kitchen staff, as the three staff members in the actual bar were busy dealing with everything else, and were incredibly apologetic when we complained, and when the table next to us complained as well. To conclude, it had a poor food, but the staff were very nice to us, and I think that more staff were needed to deal with all the orders. I advise you to only go here on a night out, don't go here expecting a nice lunch.

Visited recently for lunch. Luckily we had a voucher for 2 meals and a drink for £8.90 I would have been really annoyed if I was paying full price. First impressions were nice place , quiet ( but it was 2 in afternoon midweek) . Voucher was any burger , salad or pizza, were told there was no pizza today as the dough had run out, not a good start. So gourmet burger it was and a normal burger. Arrived within 10 mins which is never good and to be honest there was no difference in the burgers or taste, frozen chips cooked twice and a dollop of coleslaw which tasted peculiar . I ate my burger as I was hungry my wife left most of her meal, again glad I wasn't paying full price as it was not worth the voucher price never mind full. Lots of really good places to eat in Leeds but not hereDon't mistake this place with red hot world Buffett as one reviewer clearly has( the manager even commented on the review thanking them) sums it up really

Around the world is an all you can eat buffet. It offers the choice of Indian ,Chinese ,American traditional English faire and a whole lot more. You are totally spoiled for choice from the food available. the choice offer's healthy options for those who want something light to total comfort food for those who want to graze. The pudding section is spectacular and you need to sample everything

Went here for something to eat before we watched the football. Big place with lots of tellys but most if not all the tables were reserved. Not very clean either, we had to wipe our own table as it was very sticky. Probably wouldn't eat heree again but it would be a good place for drinking and watching sport.

Came here on a Thursday for lunch during December. I was warmly welcomed by the girl called Anna, who was very polite, cheerful and sorted out some drinks for me and my husband. We had a pleasant lunch in a comfortable atmosphere. I really enjoyed the yankee pizza, while my husband had a european mean lover and he loved it! Plus it was half price food which is amazing! We were told that Mark and Karl were responsible for the lovely lunch so thank you guys for the tasty food! All in all a very relaxing place, with pleasant atmosphere, good food and polite staff! Will recommend to friends!

First time visiting this bar and was welcomed by the friendly staff, especially Matty, Scot and Niall who served me and my friend for most of the evening. Service was quick, polite, friendly and drinks of a good quality. Bartenders made some of the drinks to personal taste which was thoughtful and professional. Overall, a good first visit to a bar with a warm, inviting environment.

Declan is a wonderful bartender and always makes us feel welcome. Recommended if you're looking for a place with a diverse range of drinks and great staff.

the food is amazing and Declan is very friendly and helpful. would recommend this place to anyone. the wide range of different drinks is very good and love the pool tables upstairs which is a nice touch to the pub. there is a nice atmosphere and come here at least 2-3 days a week as the overall customer satisfaction is very high

One of the best places in Leeds to come and have a drink and some excellent food. The service from staff is absolutely exceptional. Especially one bartender in particular, called Declan, who makes you feel welcome the moment you step through the door. I would recommend this place to anyone of my friends!

Went to the pub for a few daytime drinks with a mate, really nice and relaxed setting, and the pool tables and screens in the upstairs Shooters Bar are a nice touch as something to do. Declan behind the bar was a great laugh and really helpful throughout the day. Also, when I had stupidly left my bag at the bar whilst leaving, the whole staff were really helpful the next day in locating it and got it back to me.

We had a booking for a party at this bar and were charged £15 a head for food. We weren't expecting a gourmet experience and enjoy a bit 'junk food' from time-to-time (with there being lots of amazing burger places in Leeds to enjoy!) but the food served was barely edible. Pretty much everything was freezer to frier and had the only 'flavour' was grease. We left hungry and my partner felt sick all evening and was then unwell later on. We didn't complain at the time as we were with a large party and had to move on. Have written an e-mail to request a refund for the food we couldn't eat. One to miss! Especially with such heavy competition from excellent places to eat across the city.

Went into around the world in 80 beers on a Thursday night, there was live Acustic music which was making for a fantastic atmosphere, the singer were excellent keeping the tempo up beat, the bar tenders were lovely and working hard. Scott was really helpful as on a number of occasions I was very indesicive about my drinks and he made me some wicked cocktails, then bless him even helped me bring them to my table 10/10 for effort there buddy. Will deffinatly be returning soon.

The food was wonderful so was the atmosphere. The staff were amazing apart from one bar member who I found obnoxious rude and arrogant and it wasn't the first time, this happened by the member of staff Niall who also seemed to be aggressive towards the other members of staff however Kerry and Matthew did make up for the way I was treated by him but apart from that a thoroughly enjoyable evening and would definitely go back and make sure I'm not served by Niall!!!!!

7 year old daughter and I called in here on our way to the theatre one Monday night as we had been given vouchers to come in by the promotion girl outside.The food was BAD! So bad we returned it and I got my money back and just paid for drinks. Lamb koftas, two tiny limps of dried up mincemeat on a plate…Whenever we walk past my daughter always points out just awful it was!

Visited last weekend with my sons and their partners. Food took a long time to arrive and when it did came disjointed so some of us were having food go coled whilst waiting for other food to arrive. Waiters got food wrong, table number wrong and due to them being so busy nobody seemed to care about service standards as all. Spent over £200 for six people and felt we deserved better.

Visited with my husband for a few drinks on a Sunday evening, it was very quite but was good for us to sit and chat on the chilled out sofa area. 241 cocktails were advertised on a leaflet on the table but when we got to bar we were told it was only house cocktails and had to be 2 of the same but no mention of this on the leaflet so a bit misleading. The French martinis I did have was lovely and bartender very friendly and helpful.

Went for some food and to sample some beers was greeted with a 25% discount so they had me now then went upstairs to the sports bar to watch the football all in all great night and shout out to Kerry the waitress for great service

So having spent a few hours shopping, to be able to just take a sit on a comfy sofa and get a good draught beer for way below the normal high price you would pay in a city centre, is a god send.This is three bars in one, in the basement is a bierkella, the top floor a sports bar with loads of screens, pool tables (but no dart board so not a proper sports bar) not for us as can't stand football etc.However this section was okay, as it was around teatime it was not that busy, not sure we would want to be there late on a night as I can see it maybe popular with the crowd that we don't normally mix with, but at the time we were in it was nice to sit and relax before dinnerThe girl behind the bar was great she was obviously having a ball and was very freindly to us and everyone that came in, credit to the companyGood selection of beers from around the world, hence the name but at good prices, well done

Popped in here for the first time after work for a few drinks and a bite to eat. What a mistake. Talk about daylight robbery. £10.40 for 2 small bottles of beer. No wonder there's no price list for beers to be found anywhere. I had to ask the barman if he was having a laugh. What's funny is that this was during happy hour of all times. Ordered food and the service was great but both our burgers were barely even warm. Ate them anyway as we were starving. Far better places to spend your money. Avoid!

He ido a jugar al Pool y al pedir un Café me han dicho que lo pida en otra barra 1 piso mas abajo. Y la cocina cierra a las 21:00 hs. El ambiente es agradable x las instalaciones, aunque mucho olor a alcohol en el ambiente pese a haber muy poca gente, deberían limpiar mejor.

Fortunately, we had a Groupon voucher for 2 gourmet burgers or pizza plus a drink. For the price we paid, we could not complain; however, if we had to pay full price for the food, it would not have been value for money at all. The 'gourmet' burgers were really not gourmet at all. Firstly, they did not resemble the appetising burger on the photo advertised on Groupon which made me buy the voucher. The burgers were disappointing and dry with only a drop of pickle/sauce on them. There was nothing 'gourmet' about them apart from the dry Kangaroo meat patty on my burger. Not once did anybody ask us if were enjoying our food. On a more positive note: the barman was friendly and welcoming.

Have been here before and it was straight forward and good.A little different this time I was told I needed to register and book 48hrs in advance and I could not use the groupon voucher. I explained I had done it before and we had travelled from York for this experience.Mickie The barman said he would have a word with his manager and see what could be done. The manager told mickie we had to ring the booking number which I did and I was told again I could not use the voucher for 48hrs, I explained I was sitting in the bar which was empty except one other customer and the manager was prepared to serve us once we had registered, he then okayed it.My pal and I both had the gourmet British burger with fries and a pint of Carling each.It was excellent.The barman Mickie was very courteous and efficient, he made the day.The company must know what they are doing with the 48hr booking but on a Wednesday lunch time with a empty bar it did seem a little over the top although it didn't in the end spoil a very nice experience.thank you to the management and especialy to Mickie

Due to the bad weather on the day of our booking we turned up an hour earlier an was told it was not a problem. We were shown to our reserved table and the menu was explained to us. We placed our order, we ordered 2 different types of burger and told the waitress we were going to share them. She said she would get the chef to cut them in half which I thought was a nice touch. When the food came it was nicely presented and tasted as good as it looked.All in all, the surroundings were good, good food and extremely pleasant staff.

We chose the Gourmet burger & fries, good quality produce, service was very good. No complaints other than it was quite noisy. However we would return.

The beer selection here is brilliant! Truly a world-class selection of beers from around the world. A nice place to watch live sports as well with many, many large screens and TVs. Live music downstairs on Thursday evenings. A nice stop in Leeds.

second time i've bought a voucher food+drink deal for here. well worth it, great food, fab choices of beers/ciders etc...what more could you want!

After purchasing a groupon then reading trip advisor i was a little dubious however the food was excellent quick to be delivered and Harry the barman was exceptionally courteous and couldn't have done enough for us. 5 stars from this family who i promise you are very critical. Credit where credits due absolutely spot on thank you

Terrible service terrible burger - it cost £8.50 with a slice of bacon. Don't mind crap burgers when they are only there to soak the beer up just don't take 40 minutes to deliver it and pretend its gourmet! Avoid
