The food was great and the place was hygienic but we had to wait a really long time to be served. Only a 3 people doing all the work! But overall really great food!

Normally use aroma kitchen and food as a rule very good and prepared to pay slightly more for it. Recently given the wrong dish as a takeaway order, by the time I got home and realised, then drove back to return it for the correct dish received no apology and just given the correct dish. Got home where everyone else has finished their food and mine was cold. Bit of a let down for a treat night.

We were staying locally to visit Harry Potter Studios and we found this place online, after eating here we can’t recommend it enough, the staff are really nice people, the food is very tasty and fresh and the atmosphere is homely and relaxed! Very good prices. The best compliment we can pay is that we both said we would drive back down from Liverpool just for a meal!

Called here after a day at Harry Potter Studios with my wife and 3 children. The owner & staff could not be more welcoming, warm & funny. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was absolutely superb, would recommend the Kung Po Malaysian Chilli Chicken. 1/2 aromatic duck was outstanding. If in Watford again would call & recommend.

Chicken black bean - small amount of meat and chicken extremely dry and stringy. Couldn’t even bite through it with my teeth. Weirdest textured of meat I’ve had in a takeaway. Won’t be ordering from here again. Disgusting

We were welcomed at the door with smiles and warmth. We ordered the Sunday buffet for a group of 11. The food is cooked fresh and served to you. Can't fault it. Good portion sizes as well. We were able to pick and choose as we pleased. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They really went above and beyond to ensure we wanted for nothing. Looking forward to our next visit!

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Satay sauce tasted grainy and was too thick. Nothing special about the special rice, wontons, wings and chow Mein everything was very underwhelming. Service was not the greatest, food took over an hour to be delivered. Would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s also not worth the price.

Eat here quite a lot. The food is always amazing, and the service is second to none. Had a takeaway tonight, and the same high standards they set were just as high. The tea chicken is one of our favourites, and their chicken fried noodles are some of the best I've ever had. 5 stars just isn't enough. 😋

Dropped in on the off-chance for early evening meal. Staff welcoming friendly and attentive. Had a set meal which was excellent value.

We went on a Tuesday night so it wasn't really busy. The husband and wife team (?) really looked after us. They were very attentive and offered menu selections to go with our choices. We has starters, then duck and then a couple of main courses and rice, all very lovely and hot and very tasty, and a couple of beers each totalling £110, so it wasn't cheap!

Disappointed, food was good but only had two dishes and was over charged by nearly £6 so make sure you check your bill, shame I didnt !!

Always decent food. Never eaten in only had takeaway and delivery. But had at least 10 from here and never been disappointed! Great Chinese.

We ordered a takeaway. The butterfly prawns and satay chicken were so over cooked that the prawns snapped like crisps. The lemon chicken was also very overcooked and dry. Usually a good meal from Aroma kitchen, so very disappointed. Sadly, I don't think we'll waste our money on a takeaway from here again.

Lovely Restaurant with very tasty food and friendly staff. My husband is fussy when it comes to Chinese food and has very high Expectations, yet he really enjoys the food here. My young daughter also likes the food, especially the tea smoked chicken. We have visited twice on Sundays and the service has always been very good too. We would definitely recommend Aroma Kitchen.

Sunday all day, eat as much as you like from an excellent menu. Table service not buffet. Had the best Chinese feast we've had for a very long time. Could not fault this dining experience in any way. The food was well served, hot and delicious. 5 star+. The Kung Po Chilli Prawn was to die for.

Visited 10/06/23. Attentive staff, good menu choices, we had the crispy noodles and egg fried rice, chicken curry. Very fresh tasting, probably one on the tastiest I've been to. We'd come again.

Absolutely delicious takeaway this evening. Food arrived on time and hot. Everything was freshly cooked. Asparagus was crisp and perfectly cooked. Prawns big and juicy. No greasy after taste. One of the nicest Chinese my friend and I have had in a while.

Popped in on a Sunday lunchtime for the first time as all other Chinese takeaways we would normally go to were closed. I had a very warm greeting, great customer service and delicious food. They are our number one choice from now on.

Really impressed with the hi quality and superb taste of the food service of the gentleman hi standard ... Next time I will wear a coat or jumper found bit cold needs to put heater on before customers come in to eat

First off the food here is great, there was 6 of us that went together so it was a big order, however I thought that us waiting 1 and a half hours for our mains was not great, with 1 of the mains actually being missed, other than that the staff were nice and helpful

Drive past this place regularly but tried it first time via Deliveroo. I'm so glad I've finally found a solid Chinese place in the area after trying loads. Bit disappointed about the food standards rating of 3 however. Hopefully that will improve.

Drove to this one because of the good reviews, and years ago heard good things what absolute rubbish disgrace to call this chinese. £12.90 per dish order 3 dishes 1) sweet sour chicken, 2) ginger pineapple duck, 3) beef fillet cantonese style At that price even if the cooking is not fantastic the ingredients should be fresh, no. Chicken not fresh defo been in fridge for days, so sweet it was like dessert, also soggy Duck dish, lowest cheapest quality duck which is just fat no taste and dish just ginger flavour, sauce is like watery soup no skill. Beef fillet tiny portion and 4-5pieces okay understandable, but again just sugar only people who can't cook do this. I know good Chinese is hard to find these days and a lot are just not up to scratch, at £13 per small dish AND still as bad as regular fake Chinese cooking SAD.

Sunday all you can eat - good value food and nice friendly staff.

First visit to this restaurant. Booked a table for 18:30 for three people. Restaurant was busy on arrival. Met by a friendly member of staff who got the table ready for us. Order the drinks and choice of starters. Over a hour wait and half the starters arrived. We had them once they arrived and then waited a further 15 minutes for the remainder of the starters (crispy duck and pancakes) to turn up duck was very fatty and pancakes were all stuck together. Took this opportunity to order the mains. A further 20 minute wait and the mains arrived. Tasted fine but in all honestly hardly any meat in the dishes which were veg and sauce heavy. Didn’t even want to wait for the sweet as I had work in the morning and didn’t know what time they would have arrived 😂👋🏻 We may give it another go in the week, but to be honest nothing to write home about.

First time we have eaten here for a few years food was delicious and staff were very friendly. We had a take away. The restaurant looked Nice but could maybe do with a bit of music to create a bit of a atmosphere in there. There was 2 adults and 3 children and it came to £93 🙈 So this restaurant will Just be a treat every now and then as is more expensive than some of the other local takeaways but as I said food was very tasty and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

A lovely little chinese restaraunt with friendly attentive staff and very nice chinese food. Very clean and well presented with a lovely calm and quiet ambience. Prices are a little higher than the average take away service but for the restaraunt experience its reasonable. I will certainly visit again soon!

Maybe three seems a bit harsh but 4 stars is a high bar for me and this wasn't met. Sitting near the faulty, draughty door was already a poor start. No table clothes, no finger bowls provided. No background music. Food was good but not great. Service was good but not great. Prices were average which, combined with mediocre food meant relatively poor value. If any of food/service/value/atmosphere were above averqgw, this would be 4 stars. I'd return once to give them the benefit of the doubt but would expect sn improvement.

Honest from the second the lady answered the phone, I knew this was going to be a good take out option. She was so calm, patient and kind. We ordered chicken chow mein, king prawn noodles, chicken in black bean sauce, egg fried rice, one veg noodles and one sweet and sour chicken balls and when I tell you this was the best Chinese I have had in over 10 years I’m not lying, so clean so aromatic.. will definitely be ordering again. Usually Chinese food can be quiet oily this one wasn’t and it was cooked to perfection! Thank you so much we loved our meals and also thank you for our fortune cookies!!!! Hadn’t had one is so long! Please make sure you order, so delicious!

Used to eat here years ago & it was lovely. It was taken over by new management & went down hill drastically. Heard it had now improved & new management again. We went on a Sunday, eat as much as you like. It is all cooked fresh as you order off the menu. Good value, fresh food. Really enjoyed it & the service was good too. Will definitely be returning.

Just had the most tasty and delicious lunch at the Aroma Kitchen. Haven’t been here in ages and it was excellent. Great choice and service and the best Singapore noodles I’ve ever had. Relaxed atmosphere and great service - even managed to fit in a banana fritter after a delicious starter , duck pancake course and selection of main dishes . We shall come back very soon !

I went here for my birthday and my parents anniversary (same day) and we all had an amazing experience, we all said we would come again ❤ They were great servers and made us feel like family, giveing us a banana ice cream to celebrate and helping with all our needs. Having read mixed reviews about this restaurant / take out we decided to order takeaway to be delivered last week . The positives to our experience were Takeaway close by so food arrived hot and within time window given Meal included free portion of prawn crackers and dip plus fortune cookies Portion size generous ,food was cooked well and ingredients were quality and plentiful Price was in keeping with others in the area so reasonable priced However the negative for us was TASTE/FLAVOUR unfortunately the dishes had none at all , we could have literally been eating anything as it was as bland and tasteless Great shame but confirmed other reviews left on this site If your a fan of Chinese / oriental food and appreciate it's great taste and flavours this is defiantly not the place to eat as you will be sadly disappointed Would not recommend

Wow what a place. I haven't eaten here in ages and was so happy we came back here. We had the Sunday lunch eat as much as you can. The starter was absolutely stunning and the food was so so tasty and hot and fresh and yummy. The duck course was divine and the main course I hadbbeef in oyster sauce wow I was blown away so tasty the rice was the best rice I've ever ever had. And at only £20 a head for all that food on a Sunday. Forget Toby and harvesters this is were you wanna go. I am looking forward to visiting again SOON!

A great little find Here in Watford on a business trip & this little restaurant was near by. Today was my birthday so we wanted to try, the food was lovely. But the most amazing moment was the banana fritters. Thank you Aroma kitchen for a lovely night & bringing back memories

Occasionally go for the all you can eat buffet on a Sunday and the food and service is excellent. I would especially recommend if you are nervous about covid, as they always disinfect the tables and serve out the food and drinks with gloves on .

My first time here in years so read all the reviews first with an open mind. Firstly it was about half full at 6.50pm on Saturday. I always think thats a good sign. Waiter was very friendly and welcoming with a sense of humour. Had a bit of a giggle with him instantly. We really enjoyed the food and service was pretty good. Didnt spend ages trying to attract someones attention when our glasses needed a top up. Prices are a wee bit higher than i expected but maybe thats because we havent been out much recently (who has?) Overall we both enjoyed the experience and would definitely go back and try the Sunday buffet.

Ordered the prawn dumplings. Excellent. Crispy seaweed was actually seaweed i could taste the difference. Duck was lovely. But the just eat drivier went down the one way street i wrote in the notes not to do. They dont read the notes.

I went for the "Eat as much as you like" where you can choose from a long list of starters, mains and desserts and while you do pay £20 for it, I was full after the starters and then had two more courses to choose from. Chinese food isn't exactly known to be healthy, and everything was either battered and fried or in very sweet, sticky sauce or both, but tasted delicious. The staff was uncommonly attentive and quick. It is a good venue if you want to catch up with some friends as there is plenty of space between tables and it was quiet. Plenty of free parking just outside the door, too.

I moved out of the area so haven’t had takeaway for while, definitely gone down hill since last experience, chow mien was stodgy had no flavour completely different to how they used to be, loved the chow mien before. Lemon chicken over cooked and dry, very salty and lemon sauce was illuminous yellow. It’s a real shame as previously said was best Chinese around. Will not be returning any time soon.
