WOW possible BEST ever Indian meal. Fabulous. Can't wait till next time. I've traveled Indian, this is one of the best, and it's on our Doorstep, we're so lucky.

Wicked food. Usually use their other branch but was local to here, had my friends over and they said it was the best indian they've been to by far. I made a phone call at the start of the game to say we need the food by half time, they said they were very busy but promised me it will be there. Great experience, friends have been ordering since also. Authentic indian food with great sevice and sensational flavours.

Drive couldn't follow easy directions. Said he still can't find my address even though he drove past me as I actually waited outside in the freezing cold. Food eventually arrived nearly an hour late. Food was cold so takeaway owner personally delivered fresh food without getting lost, now over an hour late, so after all that, the food was awful. Greasy and bland

Brilliant! Saved us at a wedding by bringing gluten free curry (something the caterer failed to provide.) From the lady on the phone to the man who delivered it they are first rate, polite and kind. The food was really nice too.

The Best Indian Food! This evening we had our first takeaway from Aroma. There was four of us eating. We had poppadoms, starters, and mains. The food was all delicious. There was not, thankfully, an oil slick on the top of the mains which one often experiences. All four of us enjoyed every mouthful. We will order again. Thank you Aroma and well done.

Food was disgusting ordered pillar rice got horrible fried, ordered bread got substituted with pickles won’t be ordering again

Thought I would give it a try, wish I hadn't. One review said it's better at your local supermarket . Nut I gave it the benefit of the dought wish I hadn't worse Indian I have ever had.

Wouldn't bother norming eat at mughal but its shut at the minute very salty and could cook better my self won't be going back

No stars to give! Worst Indian food I’ve had ever! Stone found in rice, chicken half cooked and food was tasteless. Would highly recommend you to go to your local supermarket to get one as it’ll be better quality.

Large menu, quality food, enjoyed every meal I've had

If you like good indian food then give this a miss. Had chicken tikka Jalfrezi and 'pilau' rice but it was poor. Not even as good as many supermarket ready meals. There were far too many part cooked onions added and very little peppers. The sauce was tasteless and hardly spiced. The chicken was a bit stringy not soft and light. Very little, it any fresh corriander. The rice was a bit sickly smelling and not a good colour. My wife had a chicken bhuna which should be quite dry but the sauce was very runny and watery. You need to do a lot better!

Ordered through just eat. Spent £30. Cold and tasteless food arrived, chicken for butter chicken was dry and the tikka masala meat came in massive chunks and dry. Food was labelled incorrectly. Ordered pilau and received brown rice. Now trying to contact restaurant and they’re refusing to deal with my complaint for any compensation. Just eat tried to contact them too and they’ve even told them they’re refusing to update my order to compensate me for the waste of the order Avoid this place, I’ll be putting this review everywhere until they deal with my complaint

Delicious food. We will definitely be back. Curries tasty and plenty of fish and meat. Great naan. They give us poppodoms and dips. Try it.

Wrong order, [ordered garlic and chilli] received bhuna, very bland curry's, poor rice and truly awful aloo saag. Chapatties were great. If food isn't very good then it's a waste of money.

There was hardly any meat in the curry Bombay potatoes were sliced baby potato, no onions no peppers there was no thought to the food. Very Bland and will never eat there again mango chutney was like pisswater.

First time ordering from here and won’t be ordering again, chicken tikka was awful just looked like plain cooked chicken no taste at all, the chicken bhuna was also tasteless, no cheese in the cheese nan the whole lot went in the bin!

Just had our Indian meal delivered I had chicken biriani there were only 5 pieces of chicken..... Which turned out to be a bonus as was un chewable rubber.. Would not recommend this is the second time my order has been awful 😭

I had a takeaway from aroma in Hucknall. I ordered a lamb Madras with rice and a garlic naan. I was pleased when I got home and found 3 free dips some salad and a poppadom. The food was all very very good I really enjoyed it.

Was delicious. Every dish was tasty, perfect levels of spice. Cheese naan wasn't very cheesy though, gotten have that cheese!

A very tasty curry. We ordered a wide selection and every dish we received was extremely tasty. Perfect levels of spice, may chicken pathia was particularly good. The only let down was that the cheese naan wasn't very cheesy.

The worst food ever! So salty it was inedible. Customer service from the owner is dispicable, he didn't want to accept any responsibility because we ordered via Just Eat. Never order from this sham of an "Indian" takeaway. Nothing authentic here!!

Tandoori Chicken was extremely watery & only just cooked, didn’t bother eating that as it looked awful! Food tasted very bland and veg rice only had sweet corn & peas in it! Garlic bread not very garlicky. Disappointed. First & last time ordering here. Would not recommend at all.

Been using this take away for a few years now and they have never disappointed. Fantastic and tasty food every time. Today they forgot a potion of rice but as soon as I phoned they sent the delivery driver with another potion. Thank you.

Me and my partner ordered through Just Eat with a delivery time of 40mins - an hour and a half later it arrives! We had chicken Bhuna and it was tasteless, 6 pieces of large chicken, one with a huge piece of fat running through it! Yuk! It was cold straight away. The only thing that was decent was the chips. Very disappointing.

Not being a fan of curry, always thinking ' yeah there's a jar I can use, I can make this the same' ... and then I had a Madras from here, amazing, and then I fell in love with the pickles and poppadoma's so fabulous I couldnt wait for my partner to tell me he didnt want a chinese and we could have it again . This amazing food went on for a while and then we had some not to the same standard, has something changed, ownership?? Staff ??? Then we tried again tonight, thats it done, over cookEd chicken, bland sauce.... the food here has gone from AMAZING to mediocre - BAD

Went about a week ago. Good food and good service.

Used for a couple of years mainly nice not always, had a couple of bad meals so used other takeaways thought I would give them another chance last weekend curry went straight in the bin was not edible at all. Just thick and tasted like a masala curry paste not a sauce and not one piece of onion or pepper in sight for a curry that states onion and peppers. Will not be using again. Had delivery from.another takeaway in hucknall tonight absolutely lovely. Sorry aroma you need to up your game.

Sadly our meal this evening was very disappointing! Did not get what we ordered and my son had gristle in his meal! Will not be ordering again.

Tonight we ordered from these as the one we had a couple of weeks ago was great. Not the same can be said for Tonight, we waited over an hour for our food yo turn up stone cold and beyond greasy. I called to complain and ask for a free meal another time and I was laughed at and told no chance! I was offered a refund but had to send all the food back! Terrible customer service I will not be ordering from here again!!!!

Used to love Aroma however I'm finding the food quality not as good as it used to be. Ordered tonight as last time was again ok but nothing particularly outstanding. Disappointed. Won't use you again unfortunately.

Used Aroma a few times now and i'm really impressed. The food is better quality than every other takeaway in Hucknall, and if you want a takeaway, this is the best one in Hucknall by a mile. Word of warning though, sometimes the curries can be stronger than you may be used too from other places, but when you order a medium curry from here, you can actually taste the spice, unlike other establishments, so if you don't like it that spicy go with a korma.

Chewy king prawns were not nice.

I ordered food, it was 35 minutes late to the time they gave me over the phone.. The person over the phone could not correctly speak English and it was nearly imposible to get my order accross, a second person taken my order but was arrogant and not well mannered for customer service?

Order from here regularly. Food is always nice but I do feel like the meat is always a little lacking in the main dishes. Other than this it is excellent, would recommend the saag paneer.

Wouldn’t order Indian food from anywhere else. Always delivered on time, always delicious and piping hot. Would love it to be a restaurant as well as a takeaway and it is slightly more expensive than I like to pay for a takeaway but you get what you pay for

Not had a dinner that I have not yet liked. Apart from when I chewed the pepper that was not. It was a chilly rest of dinner had no taste. Oops

Really nice food, and even after a 10 minute walk home on a chilly night the food was still piping hot. Staff are friendly and they offer deliver. Oh and you get a free bottle of pop when you collect.

Been ordering from here last few months and it's been tasty. Onion barges arnt the greatest abit too much powder taste but cannot knock everything else very enjoyable.

Sooooo, We used another Indian in town for the last 10 years but my son persuaded me to try this place. Anyway we put our order in via just eat and was informed of a delivery time. Half hour later the restaurant added extra time to this stating they was busy..well I'm not really bothered providing my food comes hot so we didn't mind about this. The food came and we was going through it to find all the stuff we ordered plus more. Yeah that's right free food! A FREE full portion of some sort of of curry (forgive my ignorance I'm not a curry expert and just stick to chicken Tikka) there was a free portion of rice and some chutneys too. My God my son was in heaven. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious! We've ordered abother two times since then. Safe to say this is our new regular curry house now. Piping hot free food. What more could you want?

Placed order only to be emailed 20 minutes later to say my order was cancelled because they are too busy. Called and spoke to a very very rude man who said he was too busy and has enough customers, the order should never have gone through and he's too busy to talk to me on the phone. Wow. Will be ordering from Mughal going forward, amazing food and great service from them. This place is lacking customer service.

Ordered from these on Saturday night, placed the order at 20.07 and didnt arrive until 22.00. 1 hour and 50 mins is terrible. We was told the order could take up to an hour as they was busy which was fair enough. It was Saturday night and we understood. After waiting for an hour and ten mins I called them and they apologised and told us the order would be with us in the next 15 mins. It wasn't. after calling again after the 15 mins he told us it would be with us any minute. It wasn't it was another 25 mins. My husband was just leaving to go and get a Chinese when it turned up. We explained to the driver we didn't want it now after waiting to long and he said he would take £5 off the order, to which my husband agreed seeing as we was hungry. Really wish we didn't agree to this as when we got the order inside it was wrong! In the order it didn't have the items we wanted but a load of free rice?! And missing items also. How disappointing after waiting that long.The curries really wasn't that amazing also, cold and of average quality. I called to let the restaurant know and he said they would send out the missing items to which I refused. We didn't want to wait another 2 hours for them after all! I just wanted them to know.

We've just had our food and it was disappointing. We ordered for 4 people food to be delivered. It took 2 hours to get here and they got the order wrong. The food wasn't even good, bland and unchewable meat. The tikka massala looked radioactive.

Recently moved area and this is the only place we will get out takeaways from. Delicious food friendly staff- try it, you won't regret it!

This has now become my local Indian takeaway. Excellent good quality and fairly decent prices. Delivery is always pretty quick and staff very friendly. Definitely recommend.

This was our 1st time ordering from Aroma, the gentleman on the phone taking my order was very polite. He said it would take 45-50 mins (at 7:30) & it arrived early at 8:05. The food was hot & absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be ordering from here again & would recommend to others.

Just finished my takeaway. Not feeling the best. Food arrived earlier than said but this was the only positive. Sat down to eat it and it was cold. Did not finish it as it was the worst I have ever tasted. The rice wasn't what we ordered, the chips where soggy and the tikka and korma where just as bad and I could ring the naan bread out. Will not be eating there again. The tesco Indian box set is far better and for a third of the price.

Moved to hucknall around 6 months ago decided to have a takeaway decided on Indian and found aroma and I'm glad we did meal was perfect top notch

Just had a takeaway from here. The service was fabulous, fast delivery and gorgeous food. Would definitely recommend and will be using again. The flavours are delicious.

We decided to try Aroma for the first time on Saturday and WOW. Considering that the systems were down and they were a little behind, the food was absolutely amazing. They gave us a bottle of sprite for the wait ( we only had to wait 5-10 mins ) but the staff were so apologetic. We have definitely found our NEW favourite Indian restaurant in Hucknall!

My 1st experience of this indian takeaway. After weeks of seeing the little cars buzzing around the town on weekends. I decided to approach their driver for a menu. To my amazement the driver said they had been open 6 months, but have not advertised and are still very busy. I can see why! I ordered a curry for 2 and it was the best meal me and my parttner have had ever. Quality meats and tasted very fresh and authentic. Well done Hucknall's top curry house

Pretty tasteless compared to last time and at nearly £30 for 3 meals I expect tasty curry!

Wow! At last decent fresh and flavoursome Indian cuisine. The curries really do taste so individual and not the usual bland same curry base. I had the garlic chilli chicken, succulent chicken pieces in a rich fragrant sauce. Garlic and coriander nan was the best i have had from a takeaway! The service was spot on and the delivery was quick. Aroma gets a thumbs up from us and will be our regular Indian takeaway from now on!

I used to dine and order from karakoram all the time and was always very satisfied with the food, so maybe I high expectations for Aroma to live upto. For me though I think it doesn't meet anywhere near my expectations. The starter. Chicken tikka nawaab paneer, this I can't fault it was absolutely delicious and is the best starter I've had. The main however, chicken Tawaa was very bland. There was no spice what so ever and very little flavour. If I'm honest the sauce looked like something that I would of blended together at home. It had the same texture and appearance as something that has been blended and stored for later so I don't think this was fresh. The sauce was also watery. If the main was anything like the starter it would of been a fantastic meal. I'd probably try once more with something different and hopefully this would of been a one off.

No spice in the lamb Rogan, lamb was also chewy. Wouldn't order here again.

Food arrived quick and was piping hot. Hot meat was not over spiced nor dry was moist and the lamb succulently soft. Definitely value for money and i am definitely ordering again soon.

order chicken tikka masala king prawn biryani keema puri made a keema puri which is not on the menu to our stated heat level,plus they use really big king prawns if you live in hucknall give it a go you wont be disappointed
