Dissatisfied with last few weeks meals. King prawn curry used to be nice but curry sauce got to be watery and prawns over cooked so not going back for a while.. shame because was really nice before..

Special fried rice advertised with king prawns , not one salt and pepper chips £4.60 more salt than chips

Menu on the website and in the window said £8.10 for the meal I wanted when I went to the counter it was £9.60 not happy

we've had the special curry tonight Christmas eve and can't honestly say it's been the freshest and best we've had and we always use aroma please keep these standards up as tonight was fantastic fresh and cooked beautifully.

Went on Saturday worst meal I have had from this place will be looking elsewhere in the future.

This was the first and last time I will use this Chinese, it was absolutely awful, I had a special curry, the pork was like rubber, the chicken and beef slimey and everything tasted the same and not nice, the only reason they got 1 star was because the site wouldn't let me post without doing so

I tried to cancel the order by phone a few minutes after its submission, but I was informed that it is already packed and ready. I was really surprised, especially that 5 minutes later delivery guy was at my door. The food is very tasty and I will definitely use it in the future.

Blown away with this place. The delivery was super quick and the food very good and filling. The prices are very reasonable too.

I usually like aroma, I order chicken and cashew nuts and the chicken is gooey and fatty, if never known chicken to be that bad before, I'm not happy with the dish

Amazing Chinese takeaway 😁 Very friendly and is the best Chinese I've found in the Castleford area and I would recommend it to anyone.

Last time I'll use Aroma even though I've used them for years. Chilli beef lacked taste apart from vinegar, and the chicken curry was full of fat . To top it off.. a hair in the prawn crackers that wasn't mine. I've even spoken to the staff but I've got a feeling it's changed ownership for the second time in weeks. So sad that the standards have dropped.

Best chinese buy far went off chinese for a while cos every where i tryed was awful untill i found this one and now cant get enough off them, lovely food

Ordered a dish specified no mushrooms as i can not eat them due to been allergic guess what i got....mushrooms, at least the dog is happy, be using a differant take away from now on

I asked for beensprouts i got noodles when i call them she got very upaty said you got beensprouts i didnt the food was dreadfull a wast of 21£ never again

I'm very happy to say that my favourite Chinese takeaway is back to normal. I gave a negative review four months ago after I experienced several poor quality meals and issues with a weekend delivery driver who was charging £2 - £3 extra! Weekday delivery is very quick but weekends can take up to an hour. It would be great to be given a approximately delivery time. King prawns are the best I've had from any takeaway. I can't comment on meat dishes as I don't eat it.

Depending on what night you order you can have a good experience or a bad experience. I am one for garlic bread with cheese and sometimes it's just the best cooked to perfection and other days it's like cardboard. Guess it's down to the cook but never the same days. But if you like kabab meat it's always worth a visit for a king kebab and for under £6 you can feed 3 ppl as it's the biggest thing you've seen

Aroma what a joke gave wrong food in the menu didn't say it comes with sauce but when you ring them up they don't tell you that until you ring and tell them your order is wrong. Then they try and blame you for not saying but it don't say in menu it got sauce on. Be careful don't order very rude and don't listen to the customer. !!!!!!!! I give it - 1

+ Decent affordable food + Short waiting times - Parking difficult as located amongst dense residential area.
