Harding University students enjoyed another wonderful time at Aromas. Food was delicious, the staff was attending, and the environment was cosy. Always welcomed with smiles and open arms. We are looking forward to seeing you in May 2020.

I had lunch with my mum, both of us are pretty intolerant of bad service, substandard overpriced food,we were both delighted here. I had a salad plate consisting of lots of lovely Turkey,York ham, coleslaw and ripe tomato slices with peppers and leaves,at £4.25 it was astonishing value,I'd return for that alone. Alongside it on the menu are options of rolls/baguettes/sandwiches/baked potatoes with various fillings, great prices for all. I wish I'd had my camera,it was so well presented,im also qualified I food hygiene and the temperature of the food was bang on. Mum had lentil soup,at £1.90 a bowl it was piping hot and tasty, most other places nearby charge double for this. Tea,a scone, coke we were around 11 pounds ,a lady on her way out said to us thaf the stovies were excellent-the small meals were around £3.75 Also the service was excellent, fast and friendly contrary to some reviews on here. I can only give my account,it was excellent in every way I'd change one thing, the ladies toilet had a towel,as in one towel to dry hands. Being bacteria aware I bodyswerved it,sort it out ,paper towels please !! Numerous food hygiene certificates on display, always reassuring. Cakes looked lovely, homemade sponges etc too.

Young blonde girl I find to be quite rude and abrupt new staff members appear a bit more on the friendlier side food is nice although they never seem to change the soup from lentil good value for money some improvements needed tho to update and bring new customers in as a bit dated specials board menu and one option of soup been the same for years choice for years

My mum and partner are in Aroma all the time, but I only manage in occasionally. Always get the home made stovies which are great so tasty. The cakes are delicious too and the ladies who serve are so pleasant.

Visited this cafe for lunch. Fast friendly service. Lovely gome made cakes. Definitely recommend for lunch or just pop in for a cake. Also has a small gift shop inside.

No music, very good service and menu choice, inexpensive and friendly with a relaxing atmosphere. Most of the offerings are home made and taste really great. Falkirk has a few independent cafés and this is one of my favourites.

Overpriced, needs a real menu. While nothing wrong with the quality of the food, the combinations just didn’t work and resulted in a taste mess. I think the “chef” maybe needs to taste his own food. Had the Moroccan lamb. Which came cold, not helped by the ice cold cuscus which seemingly just came out of the fridge, buried under that was my single sprig of broccoli, again cold. While cuscus can be eaten cold, then that’s a cold dish…everything else should be cold, you can’t mix it with lamb and gravy. Add to it fresh mint sprig that overpowered the entire dish, destroying the lamb flavour. When you charge £25 for this dish at the bar rather than the restaurant…your delusions of “restaurant” quality foods stands out. It’s a £12 dish at best and even then it’s below parr. It just doesn’t work. The lamb was fine, but for the love of god, put it with traditional hot veg and maybe some roast potatoes.

Nearly 20 min to get baked potato. Very inexperienced staff, made latte then mixed that with spoon. Bake potato tasted half cooked, looked horrible and tested horrible, no salad or any side.

Don’t come if you have any kind of schedule to keep to. Waited 5 minutes to be seated while we watched staff chatting 10 feet from us. Took 35 minutes for an order of 3 coffees and 2 scones to arrive after sitting on a counter for 5 minutes getting cold as wait staff basically wandering around in a dwam and in no hurry to do much of anything. Pretty brutal experience.

One of my favourite bars in Falkirk. All good until… Dj Gaby does ma box in, half the time she’s on the mic chatting sh3te about how she used to work here and she’s back now… she’s the same every weekend and it’s making me no want to come back. Her choice of music is sometimes good but she spends half the time talking on the mic to the individual who requested the song or just asking over the mic constantly for requests, not really what a DJ should do.
