Not been to this fish and chip ship for a few years, and after trying tonight wow. Everything was fantastic and all cooked fresh and to order. We will be making every effort to start visiting this establishment alot more. 5🌟

We stopped here on an off chance visit to the area. The fishcakes actually tasted of fish (sometimes this isn't the case) and the chips were lovely. We'll definitely call again if we are out this way

I live just over the road from the chippy, so it's a local spot for me and I must say, I don't eat fish or meat much, but the chips and sausage dinners from here are absolutely awesome and it has since become my favourite fish and chips in Yorkshire. Alot of fish and chip shops are now run by Asians, and I've tried the food from some of these places and there is no love, or flavour or care in their cooking process which delivers overcooked chips and food poisoning. We are most lucky to have Arnie's fish and chips and I hope he's around for a long time yet! Staff are always fantastic and I'll be back this afternoon at opening 😁 thank you for staying traditional guys!

Excellent chippy. Friendly staff. Visited regularly by myself, and wouldnt go anywhere else. Since I first frequented this establishment it is my go to place for fish and chips.

Food is usually very good but the service is hopeless. If making a telephone order I urge you to check your order prior to leaving as we've made many company orders and almost always something wrong or completely missing. Even after giving them chance to resolve this on the next order they decline so no more orders from me.

Just fancied some fish and chips on my way home after some business in Dewsbury, googled local chippy's and Arnies came up as being nearby Called in, nothing fancy but clean, really friendly, value for money and fantastic fish and chips...my new favourite Yorkshire chippy!

they were just swimming in fat it had soaked through all the paper on to work top and it just went hard they are usually spit on but fishandchip x3 went on the bin

Best chippy ever, food cooked to perfection, best fish cakes ever, its hard to get a good fish cake these days, great portions for the price can choose between small and large, can choose between normal or Irish curry, a proper old fashioned British chippy just the way they should be

Arnie's Fish and Chip Shop is located on a main road therefore easily found. Lots of parking spaces around if you have to drive. The staff were friendly and respectful, unlike some other chip shops in the area which don't seem to even give you a smile! The chips were excellent and I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to visit this shop.
