Archie's in Manchester

Some parts overcooked, some parts undercooked, whole thing lukewarm and very expensive. Wouldn’t recommend obviously

A milkshake shop with no milkshake as machines broken! Ridiculous. Pointless being open. Pull your fingers out your losing money

My wife and I were going on holiday to Cyprus, I have a disability and was going through the assisted lane, the man at the gate said you're got a fast track ticket. I told him I got it with the car park. He wasn't very sympathetic I was wearing a lanyard with a disability card. He said which one did I want to use, I told him the disability route. He made me feel uncomfortable surly they should be more sympathetic for elderly disabled people. Maybe more training is needed

The 2 chicken burgers we had were lukewarm, very dry and very small for price we paid, but the fries with truffle mayo was the best part of the meal, Would I go back No.

Got order wrong. Waited 15 mins for food and then wrong…they hadn’t put one of burgers through. Their solution order again. Poor. Asked for manager who said exactly the same. Just recognise that the server got it wrong and rectify true mistake. Wasn’t looking for a freebie just recognition of they got it wrong and then quick solution…NOT order again at the till. Their solution was you. An jump the large queue to order again whilst the food already delivered got cold. Won’t use them again at Manchester Airport or elsewhere. I’m sure if they get it right the experience is less painful and to be fair the chips were nice. Just very poor customer service with staff that basically didn’t give a sh*t.

1 out of 5, If you like wasting your time the. I suggest dining here. Staff are far to talkative with one another with zero progress on your order. 5 people before me and still waited over 20 mins for a single milkshake. Been Archie’s plenty of times! This location 10000% lets the brand down

Burger came without a bottom bun, not a problem I just wanted a bottom bun adding but instead I get questioned as in to say I get something out of bringing an untouched burger back. And to the bald guy in the kitchen with 3/4 teeth… maybe abide by the “customer is always right” motto. Burger was nice with the top and bottom bun after all, staff maybe not so good..

I can only comment on the ‘chicken tender box’ purchased. The quality was so disappointing that I felt the need to post. Not v.warm, hard fries and pricey.

On my way to Switzerland for Euthanasia I decided to try Archies as my last meal. I guess Archie's is American slang for dog biscuits. No kids menu so don't take your family and no set menu so add on the cost of chips and a drink to your £8-£12 grease bun. The seating area was closed off, guessing to warn people of the horrors to come and WiFi is wi-no. The beef burger was smashed to remove excess taste and the chips with cheese and bacon was more like a cake of carbs where one chip and the next had no identifiable start/end. I think my end of life machine must have had a test run, not on me but at Archie's to terminate all drink carbonation and then re-run to terminate any moisture from the chicken. I'm glad my money helps a child in need though. I hope the server can use the £20 to learn how to smile. I almost gave up my seat for him as you have to go through some selection process to find somebody whom hates life that much. On a positive note, I cancelled my death ticket. After eating here I realised that literally anything in life is better than eating here.

We went to Archie's at Manchester airport terminal 2 a whole ago and had a good burger so decided to eat here again. Glad we did as it was even better this time! Got the beef burger and it was amazing. 2 very thin smashed patties which tasted really good and had lovely crispy edges. The bun was amazingly soft and although the whole thing was very greasy it did taste amazing. We had a portion of the tots and mini hash browns. Both were really lovely (but very greasy) Our flight was delayed and we had to go back to the airport the next day. So we went back to Archie's and had the chicken burger. This was also very very nice. Fresh juicy chicken in a really good soft bun. Only minor thing was the lovely coating on the chicken was quite peppery hot. Will definitely be back to eat here next time we're at the airport.

I should have known by the pinkness of the decor that it would not be good. In fact the mush I was served as a chicken burger breakfast with egg had the texture of warm sick. I could not eat it. Never again

I have been critical of Archie's restaurants in the past. Overpriced junk food pretending to be doing gourmet burgers. So it is shocking to admit that the one on Manchester Airport is rather good. It is expensive but it kept me going for a long plane journey. The food arrived quickly and it was still warm. They have USB chargers. A surprisingly decent experience.

Visited Manchester airport terminal 2. Disgusting staff, all young kids working here who have no sense of professionalism. I say that as they were laughing at customers until they were confronted and then they stopped.

Over priced and soggy food, slow service would not come back. Unfortunately Terminal 2 does not offer much else but very expensive chain restaurants

Was at Manchester airport terminal 2 waiting for a 10am flight. I saw Archie's and really wanted to try their burger as I've heard it's good. Was a bit apprehensive about trying it at an airport location as you never know if it's going to be the same quality. However I was very happily surprised how good the 'Superstar' burger was. 2 very thin smashed patties (I enjoyed watching them being smashed as where I was standing I could see through to the kitchen!) With a really nice taste and very crispy edges. It came in a really good soft fresh bun too. My wife had the breakfast burger with chicken sausage, bacon, cheese she hash brown. This was also very nice. The food did take ages to come. Mainly as they were coming the food fresh to order which was a good thing. Buy maybe they should warn you when ordering if it will take a long time as people would think it's fast food when it's so much better than that. Will definitely get a burger here every time we are at terminal 2 from now on!
