Subway in Manchester

Asked the indian woman at the till if the branch is halal, the woman gave me a dirty look after ignoring my question 3 times, and then responded. Clearly a relative of Modi / Amit Shah.

Service was appalling, was served by a trainee who had no common sense, took 15 minuets to make 2 sandwiches with no one else in the store and we ended up missing 2 buses we needed to catch because of it.

Staff more occupied with telephone orders which is frustrating. Girl who took my order seemed to have poor English and communication, mumbling so I kept having to ask her to repeat things, and ended up with my gluten intolerant husband being given chicken with gluten and he's feeling very sick today as a result. If someone asks for gf bread then you mishear Caesar chicken as tikka, surely you should know that it has gluten and flag this up. Complete lack of customer care. Other subway stores we've found the staff are great with gf, but this one is completely unacceptable.

As a regular subway user I am often sent vouchers in the post and via the app. Unfortunately my local subway at shell Chorlton will not accept them, even though they are listed as a participating store.

Considering this is adjacent to a petrol garage it really was a fantastic " foot long" sandwich.

This Subway is within the Shell Petrol Station. The staff were nice and they have kept the place neat and tidy. The food was standard Subway so as expected. It's conveniently located so might go again.

Worst Subway I've Ever Had! Stood waiting for 10 minutes to order despite there only being one other customer in the shop. Absolutely awful sandwich, next to no fillings and was toasted for a grand total of 10 seconds. Fillings freezing cold!

I’ve been eating subway for over a decade, and I haven’t had a better one than the one Veera made me here! He meticulously placed the toppings and the meat to ensure every bite had a little bit of everything and was lovely to chat to! If you walk in and see Veera there, order an extra sandwich for later lol!!

Disgusting, inedible food. The bread was so stale that it crumbled to the touch. The bloke, Raj, serving me, was incredibly rude. He didn't come to the drive - thru so I had to go into the store. He has no meatballs ready so I got steak and cheese - he forgot the cheese. He toasted the sandwich for about 10 seconds and brought it back out cold. He was also taking a personal phone call whilst serving me. Complete waste of £7 - go to McDonald's over the road instead 👍

This branch is supposed to open at 0800. I’ve been every day between Tuesday morning and Saturday morning (I work nights / days, and the petrol station is on my way home) and the girl hasn’t even got one item of food out. She’s honest and says it opens at 8am and laughs it off so I just joke with her that she can’t be having a lie-in next time I want to come in. Just come in at 2030 on a Friday night after work on way home. Guy behind the counter just having a personal call and absolutely no sign of any food and looks like he’s already cleaned. If he’s quick I reckon he started moving stuff at 8pm. It’s supposed to be open until 9pm. Asked him what time he closes and he looked at the clock before saying “Half 8” and carried on his call. I said no you don’t, you’re supposed to serve food until 9 o’clock and it’s only just 8-30 now. He just grinned and stared at me. Probably a great subway during the day but the staff don’t understand what opening hours are.

Chaitanya is very nice. Very polite and friendly and is always smiling. Brightens up my day.

The drinks machine was broken, a lot of options were out of stock and the cashier made some mistakes/misunderstood not the first time this has happened. Otherwise the place is clean and very inviting and the staff are nice. The tables do need more wiping down more often.

Love subway but this is easily the worst branch ive ever visited. The staff are terrible. They suprise me each time with something new.

This branch was fab when it first opened but has gone downhill. Last 2 visits bread dry, wilted lettuce just not good all round Watched server rub his nose, scratch his head, make sandwiches etc in same gloves lovely jubbly not

If you want poorly made sandwiches, meatballs the same consistency of coal, bread harder than wolverines skeleton and staff with the organisational skills that rival the fyre festival guys then this is the place for you. Drive thru is a no go as the staff don't speak a word of English and are yet to understand the new technology used for it. I believe it's called a radio system but I can't be sure.

Absolutely shocking, bread from last night , no egg, no hot chocolate, rude staff, don’t serve customers with old bread, subway is all about bread

They only had the cheese bread and had no Jalapeno's and other items from the salad were unavailable

Went in was stood at the counter 5 min waiting while the guy was mopping floor he looked at me 3 times before saying he can’t serve me as till is broke funny all the food was still out

The staff was not as helpful as the other subways I went to, plus I spilt a meatless meatball on my top to make things worse. Plus it was a bit unorganised, made things complicated

I’d say the staff were rude but I didn’t have the pleasure of interacting with them. Walked to the back of the counter and started unpacking bags while I was waiting for them? Wish I could give 0 stars

Just turned up to be told they're closed! Quite happily serving for deliveries. Won't be back.

Worst subway I've ever been to. Manager Siva is unhelpful, awkward, computer says no. The other member of staff present a female also had zero customer service skills. No smiles, no welcome, no manners. Reading the other reviews I see I'm not the only one who has had a shocking experience at this subway. Under its current staffing it should be shut down it's a disgrace.

It's subway. Usually it's good service. Not at this location. Worst experience trying to get a simple blt made. Even if you don't have a BLT (like BMT) whole point of Subway is that you can customise a sandwich. The guy could not figure it out. We had to leave the drive through and go inside because the staff couldn't handle it.

I have been to this subway store plenty of times, as unfortunately it is the one closest to my workplace. Majority of the times I saw no mask, no visors, not even gloves !!! Extremely rude staff (different staff everytime), talking over each other, shouting to each other and not be professional at all. Everytime that happens to get a salad, they literally put 2 pieces of lettuce and one tomato, done. The last time I was there it was on the 15th of july around lunch time. The 2 guys had zero customer service skills but the girl was nice. She was even getting shouted at. Guess who is not going there again

Been to this Subway several times, if there's one thing that's consistent it's the rude staff! On my most recent visit 15/07/21 lunchtime the two male staff were incredibly rude and standoffish. Siva was rushing us to pay when we had not yet ordered our meals! When we eventually got to the till he ignored us and proceeded to count his money! He was also very rude to the female member of staff who seemed to be training- she was very nice and pleasant. The other gentleman was very abrupt and rude to my friend. On all the occasions I have been throughout covid the staff have not been wearing any masks/visors and on some instances they gave the gloves a miss too!

Always makes the sandwiches great, however they lose one star as the drive thru service is not good currently. The staff may need to be better trained on communicating with only a headset when customers can’t see what’s being done.

Been twice now waited at drive thru and nobody served. This needs addressing

Sat at drive thru for 15 mins - no response , once into restaurant the staff talk among theirselves and service is slow!

Waited ten minutes for an answer from the drive thru. Only to be told they are too busy in store where there was one customer. We were then told we have to drive back to the box with the speaker and mic to place our order at which point we decided to drive off. We got dirty looks because we wanted to use the drive through. Bunch of jokers and I would avoid going here ever again.

Went into the store, the worker was coughing and not covering his mouth, coughing continually whilst preparing the food.

I've been to many that are better, and as they have a drive thru and then refused to do a drive thru order, it seemed a bit daft!

The guy who served us didn't care to serve, he didn't want anyone's business, couldn't care less if nobody came. Was not a pleasant experience, I would recommend going elsewhere.

I couldn't believe how clean it was!

Cuando intenté explicar nuestros requisitos, fue muy difícil comunicarlo y se tardó mucho tiempo en procesarlo. La cola en el camino seguía creciendo detrás de nosotros y podía sentir el estrés en el aire entre mí y los miembros del personal, así como aquellos detrás de nosotros en la cola. Cuando finalmente llegamos a comer nuestro pedido, teníamos cosas en nuestros subs que no habíamos pedido. Sentí lástima por el personal, ya que claramente se apresuraron a lidiar con el recorrido y la caminata en parte de esta rama; Una experiencia que no deseo soportar de nuevo. Solo había 2 empleados a la hora del almuerzo en nuestra visita de hoy y esto simplemente no fue suficiente.

Put jalepenos on when I asked them bit to and when I asked for them to take them off, they took 2 off and when I asked again they said 'whats the problem'?

Customer service wasnt great, I ordered the new cheesy garlic bread wasn't ask for my preference of was just given the seeded wholemeal bread. Service was slow and I was the only person in the queue.

The guys didn't have a clue what they were doing, didn't speak English very well not an issue but communication is key in customer service

Popped I to this subway for late lunch, it was very busy but staff were very polite and helpful still making time to chat to the customers. I went for the new cheese steak wrap, it was very tasty and packed full. Highly recommend this subway, staff are great food is great and it's easy to park.

Horrible staff.I asked for a VAT receipt and they gave me a normal receipt, I kindly stated that that wasn't a VAT receipt and the Asian sandwich maker started shouting at me. Horrible experience, such a big corporate allows this to happen. Rubbish.

4.99 for chicken wrap wow 😂 I misunderstood worker said 1.99 anyway I think it should be clearly pricing menu on the wall to avoid this situation

Great new subway drive thru here in Chorlton. Not used the drive thru but myself yet, but it’s a typical Subway with great selection of sandwiches and salads. Staff are very helpful and prices are the usual subway great value very clean. And the coffee is great too.
