Grill Restaurant in Manchester

While waiting for the plane, the restaurant is linked to the hotel. Disastrous experience when I drink my soft drink, a piece of glass comes off the edge….

Utterly terrible food. Double the price of Wetherspoons and half the quality.

Lot of bad reviews but in fairness its not bad and service was prompt and efficient, menu is fine and expected at a hotel around an airport the prices are obviously high and you expect that, food was good and came quickly and the staff were friendly and a young team, i really cannot fault their service and some days good be bad for all of us and we cant all be having a good day, today we were looked after and hope everyone else does too.

The place was very busy and we were left standing at the wait to be seated sign for several minutes and a few members of staff passed us by we ended up having to ask to be seated which didn’t bode well for the rest of the evening but to be fair once seated the staff were great and the food especially the beef burger and the chicken burger were very good in both quality and quantity

Awful experience food shockingly bad service poor at best sent starters back to be heat up and it was chicken🤦‍♂️ the burgers were burnt the lamb was edible to be fair that's about the best I would say. Not to mention the service charge

The food was dry. I ordered the burger which is a menu hard to screw up, however, they did. The burger was dry af, the bun and meat was stiff. The fries was over fried resulting hard and dry. Before ordering, I asked the staff to give recommendations, the staff said he doesn’t know what to recommend. After I got my order, I understand him, cause nothing to recommend here. Not to mention that the price was over priced with this quality.

I wanted to take a moment to commend one of your staff members, Miss Yasmin, for her outstanding service during my visit to your establishment last evening. After a long and challenging day, I came to your restaurant for dinner, and Miss Yasmin's beautiful smile and welcoming nature truly made my day. Not only was the food excellent and finger-licking good, but I was also impressed by Miss Yasmin's professionalism and approachability. It was evident that she went above and beyond not just for me, but for every other customer in the restaurant. Based on her exceptional customer service skills, I believe Miss Yasmin has the potential to be a remarkable manager. Her ability to make customers feel valued and comfortable is truly commendable.

Lives up to its low rating. Sat for 15 minutes at the high top table. Two patrons sitting across from me were served twice by waitstaff, I was never approached and I walked out. Terrible service.

Weatherspoons quality food at a fine dining price. To be fair to them it is an airport hotel so you can't expect much better

I'm no Jay Rayner but honestly save your cash and go to Greggs in the terminal. The menu is food is on par with a Wetherspoons but the execution is worse with my starter taking over an hour to come. Most tables had messed up orders and I'm fairly certain my steak went to the table next to myself only to come back out well done 15 minutes later. Each course took just as long to come and I physically had to get up and get myself a spoon for the desert and pay. Total bill price was £68 for 3 course meal, 2 wines and a beer.

We came in here when staying at the Clayton hotel. I had fish and chips. My partner had the chicken burger. We shared a warm chocolate brownie for dessert. We had 2 pints and 2 bramble cocktails total bill was £76. Food was nice and the staff were great

Sea bass and wine were good, chicken was boiled and bland. The brownie was horrible, gritty texture with no chocolate taste. Staff didn't answer questions about the menu. Very over priced; but that is expected at airport restaurants

The staff were lovely, but the food was awful. Margarine? Really? This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel!!!

Food was delicious but I had an extra £4.5 charge on my receipt which was not mentioned previously or mentioned on the receipt which I only found out upon adding up the total. Additionally the staff paid no attention to many customers to the point where customers had to go behind the counter to get their own menus.

Very terrible service. Do not eat here or stay here. Just gonna make your life miserable.

Food is cooked and prepared nicely. Beware of extra charges. Very expensive with lots of high hidden charges. Unattentive serving staff.

The food was excellent. The appetizers were delicious and for the mains, we had the chicken supreme, which was moist and flavorful, and the sea bass, which was exquisitely cooked! Service was quick and friendly too!!

Experience - Poor at best, service was slow, communication was poor. Food - Terrible, think the chef lost any pride in their work quite some time ago. Surprised what they let leave the kitchen. Price - Just over £40 for two small drinks, main, starter and side. Steep but airport hotels, what you gonna do.

Nice and helpful staff. Food was both good and bad. We ordered a seabass which was nice but the seafood linguini was as bland as the table cloth.
