Excellent, engaging and enthusiastic are three words that describe the service I received from Donna. Having spent a laborious day in the City and worried about finding a place to eat on my return to my hotel, particularly as there was live football showing that night, I was assured by the lovely Donna that a place would be found for me and so it was! I was afforded a warm welcome and enjoyed the atmosphere complemented by a real log fire. The food was hot, served quickly, and the portions a good size. There was a good selection of drinks and the prices were very reasonable, certainly compared to the City. I very much appreciated Donna checking in from time to time to ensure that my dining experience met my expectations, and so it did. I do hope that the management will therefore find itself in a position to pass on my appreciation to Donna and her colleagues. Hope to be back when I am next in the area.

I had a great evening out with a friend. Sophia was our go to bartender and she had great communication skills and was so friendly. Food and drink are a good price and will definitely be going back.

Great pub especially for sports fans, there is always some form of live sport on the TVs. The pub has a very homely feel especially with the log fires. The food was very good value especially the lunchtime meal deal. Thank you to Freya who served us today and was really helpful, attentive and friendly.

We are visitors from France attending a funeral at Havering Crem and needed somewhere to unwind, relax and enjoy a good meal and a good ambiance as well as a friendly place, Archers filled the bill in every respect.

I didn’t eat on this visit but it is a very cute pub. Cosy and comfortable. Friendly staff.

Tommy and Donna was accommodating, lovely and kind! The drinks were amazing. We had a lovely night, the hosting was perfect! We came for leaving drinks for our colleague and ended up having the best night!

Although we’ve lived in the area a number of years now, we’ve only just discovered The Archers it’s a lovely little pub with really friendly staff and great food. We’ll definitely make this our new local. And thanks to Freya for hooking us up with extra gravy.

Very impressed with the staff and speed of service. Was busy with the rugby and football on tv but pleasant atmosphere. Quality of ales need improvement though.

Mary and George run the pub superbly, along with a professional team of staff. They refuse entry to men wearing handbags, which seems to please the regulars.

i love this place , George and Mary are amazing. Great managers and they are always welcoming. Beers are good and fresh and the food is the Bomb. The team there are brilliant. Never has a bad evening there and somehow don't think that's ever gonna change.

One of my favourite pubs, went a day after opening from lockdown so I feel they were just settling back in and finding their feet again. Food was disappointing and over done spoke with staff at the time about it aho were more than happy to help. I know this pub is far better than this experience just getting back into the swing of it I suppose

Terrible Covid policy, waiters running around clueless. Waited 20 mins for table service and left without a drink. Such a shame.

Changes from 5 stars to 1 star, this pub has made it laughable via covid. Call up to book a table, told you need to book via the app. Download the app, and full book out. Shame on the pub for cashing in on people's data via the app. PLEASE LOOK AT GOING TO THE SHIP PUB A CROSS THE ROAD.

Had dinner with my family here last night, friendly staff welcomed us told us about their covid practices and took us to the table where we felt confident with the social distancing. I wouldn't reccommend for dinner as due to restricted menu there is not a big choice, however, lovely environment and great for a drink.

I was here on Saturday with a group of friends I hadn't seen in months. The staff were so friendly and we chatted with them a lot. My friend Claire made the booking the day before and they were having issues with their booking system. She was on the phone with the lady (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) for quite a while and Claire said she was so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be coming here again for our meet ups. Thank you guys for making our first meet up in so long really lovely and relaxing.

Review during Lockdown, July 2020: Almost felt like normal to go back to a pub again. Lovely welcome at the door from member of staff who was the monitor. The young chap explained the way it works of how to order through app. Some issues of some of the tables not appearing in the app or tickets not being closed but as this a new process for everyone quite understandable and staff kept their cool so customer service was of high level. They have tables outside - front and back. Would recommend booking if there is more than 2 of you. If you are not appy savy or the app doesn't work they still allow you to order from the bar as the app is not perfect and receipts are slow to be processed. Otherwise its super clean at all times and social distancing is being adhered to if you are looking for safe pub visit for punters of all ages over 18. They have one way system and show which tables are clean for use, just make sure your table isn't blocked for pre-booking to avoid being moved as the seating is cleaned down again. Sanitising stations available and toilets were clean during our visit. 3rd August: Archers is taking part in the Eat out to help out so don't delay...book ahead or if your local then just stop by if the app isn't working. First night out and its sad to see not many people taking up this offer but hoping people will take the plunge and get back to "normal" as its not heaving like most people believe it will be. Archers even give you the VAT off your drinks! How much more of a bargain can you get! Tables are kept clean and toilets have a system if you are worried. Have a night out and support your local pubs :)

Great old traditional pub with beams in the ceiling, walls are adorned with screens for sports fans, lovely food served hot and at good prices, easy to get to using buses but plenty of parking too, all in all It was a wonderfull experience.

Really lovely pub , the bar staff were out of this world, all the drinks were wonderful, after trying them all I drove home doing 90 all the way and parked my car in next doors front room , definitely recommend this place

Really good pub for live sports.

Been here a few times now when hungry on my way home from work and the food always hits the spot. Had a very nice fish a chips meal with a good pint of Guinness to wash it all down. Really enjoyed it, and it's a lovely looking pub with plenty of seating and friendly bar crew, recommended.

Went here with my daughter and grandson, planned to have a drink in the garden but was told children aren't allowed unless you have have meal, children are obviously fine if you spend enough money.

Archers este o locatie excelent amplasata in apropierea parcului apreciat de toti locuitorii zonei dar si a statiei de metrou ori a transportului public. Locatia e generoasa iar caltatea servirii si a produselor sunt apreciabile. Terasa e un mare plus iar curatenia e remarcabila. Preturile sunt acceptabile.
