We had an amazing meal here. It was my first time but my sister has been a couple of times and she raved about it. The service was great- friendly and just the right attention. The food was delicious. We both had lamb and the meat was so tender (in other restaurants I've found it to be very tough) The food was delicious. The decor is contemporary with an amazing bubble wall, which entertained my 5 year old niece for the whole meal. I'd definitely recommend and I will be returning.

We went for an 18th birthday meal and the food was great, the service was excellent and they even popped a sparkler in a cake for the birthday boy with no prompting from us. Great night out.

Excellent food, great service and a lovely atmosphere

Absolutely fantastic. Took our son there for his 5th birthday at his request. The staff made sure he felt very special on and went above and beyond. Food was very delicious. Starters and main course was all 10/10. Can't recommend enough

First time here, I liked the look of it from outside so decided to sample it. Wow! Best decision I made, I came with my wife and our 3 year old and the service we received was outstanding. The food was so tasty and well presented, prices are very reasonable too. Even our little one finished her chicken nuggets 😊. Would highly recommend

HAD A DELIVERY LAST NIGHT AFTER MANY TIMES OF EATING IN RESTAURANT AND VIA DELIVERY. FOOD WAS COLD. SPINACH UNDER COOKED, MAIN COURSE WAS NOTHING LIKE IT HAS BEEN IN THE PAST, CHICKEN HARD AND STRINGY IN PART, LACK OF FLAVOUR AND HARDLY ANY SAUCE. ONION BAHJIES RUBBERY AND UNDER COOKED. LOOOKING ELSEWHERE NOW FOR SOMWHERE ELSE. THIS PLACE HAS GRADUALLY DETERIORATED RECENTLY.

I ordered the family a Indian takeaway last month spending £60 on the food once the food had been delivered we sat down to tuck in on my first bite I took out a long black hair out off my mouth I rang the shop straight away and spoke to star I told him what had happen and he said do you want another sending out I declined that offer and he said next time you can have one on the house a month later I decided to take up the offer went in to the shop and told star what had happened he obviously couldn’t remember the conversation so I ordered my usual chicken naga mushroom rice and keema naan he then said that will be £13 half price I said half price I found a hair in my meal and you said next time I came in they would compensate my meal he said he never said a complimentary meal I thought that’s very bad customer service I’ve used arimintas for over 5 yrs and won’t be using them anymore after this so not only I found a hair in my meal I had to pay for it twice for it unbelievable customer service

Excellent food and friendly staff.

Really disappointed as incorrect items delivered and apparently too busy to rectify and not bothered. Dishes we did receive were poor and full of oil. Ended up in the bin! Won’t be using again. Not the same as it used to be.

No wonder they are an award winning restaurant. Quick and great meal, absolutely delicious, fantastic waiters, reasonable price. We will be back 🥰😍

Been a couple of times now and really enjoyed ourselves both times. We went this evening with our little boy. The food and customer service is excellent. They looked after us so well this evening, adding little extras that just made our experience even better. We will be back

We visited Aramintas Northampton, on the spur of the moment. We were welcomed into a clean, vibrant, well decorated and atmospheric restaurant, with very smart, helpful staff. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, well presented and plentiful. I'd definitely recommend visiting here and can't wait to come back!

Me and my partner come across this restaurant two years ago. Loved it ever since. Dined in was amazing atmosphere, loved the food, staff were lovely. Till this day we always order from here for home delivery. STAR- is so friendly, always recommending great dishes etc.. and making my order easy and up for a chat to, not so robotic.. will highly recommend, and forever order from here while I’m in Northampton ;)

I visited with my wife and my daughter..Worse place in the life. Staff is so unprofessional. We set in dining when they came to take order they forced us to order everything together. When we denied. They said this is their policy you have to order all food at one time. They told us to lea the restaurant. Make me and my family so embarrassed. Never visit this place.

Could not fault the service.food was only warm and small portion of sauce with my butter chicken,poor considering the price

Very very disappointing take away from here tonight. Most of the food was dry and the onion bhajis were inedible. Food was obviously not fresh as it was at my house in 20 minutes…it takes 10 minutes to get here! Won’t be ordering from here again, at £40 I am really not happy at all 😔

Flipping outstanding curry, possibly the best in Northampton

First ever visit. It's so evident to see, these guys are on top of their work. The food was tasty and well presented, the staff were smart and friendly, and the interior decor was fabulous. Will definitely call in again soon.

Very less quantity. I order prawn chilli and i have seen first time that this restaurant have serve only 2 prawn. Food was tasteless its not for indian food lovers. Very bad

Have only recently come across this restaurant and so glad we have, food has been amazing everytime we have used them!!!! Restaurant is a lovely setting and our meal tonight which was delivered to our home was warm and brilliant.

Thought we would try a different restaurant and so glad we did. Possibly one of the best takeaway curry we have ever had. Food was delicious and not greasy. Delivery was very good too. Certainly our new curry house, which we look forward to visiting.

staying in the area with a friend for her birthday we stumbled across this restaurant, one of us vegetarian and one vegan, they were more than happy to cater for us, food was absolutely delicious and the staff couldn't do enough for us, even gave us a free shot each and my friend a special bday dessert, would definitely recommend and return next time we are in the area

We had the most amazing food in this restaurant this evening from start to finish the food, staff and service 100%. We were on a wknd in Northampton to visit relations from Galway West of ireland. A very enjoyable and full bellys. A big table celebrating a birthday. Food was amazing very fresh and tasty. Even cater for the younger children so thay could enjoy a night out with us. The service was a lovely even treated the birthday girl to a cake with the whole restaurant joining in to sing happy birthday, all done off there own back. The adults got a complimentary shot and lollys for the children for afters. Definitely 5*s all round.

Love this place , hence why we ordered takeout delivery tonight, Booked for 8pm delivered at 7-15 pm Food very bland almost tasteless. VERY DISAPPOINTED 😔 Do not recommend takeaway from here

Fantastic meal! The food and service was very good. All of our starters and curries were tasty with very distinct flavours. The staff were attentive without being over bearing. Will definitely be back again.

We went for a family Diwali meal, the staff were amazing, took a lot of care to personalise the visit. Food was absolutely delicious, no complaints at all, oh the gin cocktails you definitely should try. And overall a lovely family meal here. Would love to go back soon :)

Best Indian in Northampton by a long way

Tasty, great vegetarian options, friendly staff, big portion

Just had a takeaway. Thoughts are over 30 quid for 2 main courses and 2 pilau rice way, way, way overpriced. Just not worth it. Quality was OK but nothing special. Portions a bit on the mean side. Delivery prompt and polite though. Won't be bothering them again.

Beautiful clean place. Award winning food. Honestly the taste is divine, best Indian/Bangladesh restaurant I've been too for sure. Oh and the staff, so kind, nice and helpful

Called three times to check a late order. All three times they said it's out for delivery. The fourth time I lost my patience and asked them to be 100% certain. They said we will cook a fresh one and send it to you now. I asked about the order they already sent out over an hour ago. After some back and forth, they admitted that there was no order sent out and that they lied. I cancelled the order. Don't mind they are behind, but I hate liars. Especially liars who handle your food.

I’m sorry, but I really don’t understand why this restaurant was voiced the best curry place in 2023. I have just moved to the city and have ordered with my family and have to say was well disappointed. The lamb was tough and chewy and fish very untastfull coz of that. Really disappointed due to the hype the press brought about…. Apologies to the overs for such- but won’t be ordering again for sure x

Arrived on a horribly wet evening and nearly ended up face down on the floor because of the shiny tiles. Thankfully it was only a few steps to the carpeted eating section of the restaurant. Poppadums and chutneys were good. Taking our order, one of our party asked for korma to be told that they wouldn’t make it. I ordered a vegetable curry ranked with a chilli on the menu. Disappointing for a couple of reasons. I could taste no spice at all and it seemed like there were only onions and peppers in it. A little deflated.

The curries we ordered were both bland and unenjoyable, the rice was also overcooked and tasteless. A costly disappointment.

A modern update on the traditional Indian (Bangladeshi) restaurant. Food was tasty and light. Staff were very accommodating.

Food was good. We were a big group which they struggled with. Few drinks/bits and pieces missing as a result. But overall would recommend and return.

Thought after all the good reviews we’d try this place. Very disappointed, both chicken mains had hardly any chicken, one dish was supposed to have mushrooms, we found 1 piece, the same with a the gobi side dish that had one piece of very mushy cauliflower, the poppadoms were stale,everything was bulked out with onion , cheap and nasty and over priced . We waited a very long time and it was cold when we got it. We’d never use this place again and definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Awful food.Both dishes were tasteless and the jalfrezi was very dry.The garlic chicken was rubbery and watery. It looked like the restaurant had just sent a mish mash of whatever they could.The food certainly was not freshly cooked and why is the mint sauce flourescant green?? We will never order again

I hate leaving bad reviews, but after tonight what I was served up, I can’t hold back. Poppodoms were stale, probably left over from the night before. Seekh Kebabs were totally tasteless . Chicken jalfrezi was basically tandoori chicken pieces served up in a sauce, again which had no flavour. £5 for a keema Naan & the same for a garlic naan, I suggest next time you wear a mask as that was day light robbery.

Pretty restaurant with a nice atmosphere, however curry lacked spice and in some cases flavour, was also a little too sweet, staff seemed a too focused on upselling and rushing, however we’re friendly and attentive. Wasn’t the worst. Wasn’t the best.

The Sunday buffet menu could have been explained better. Sweets should have been included in our package but we were charged extra. Good venue apart from previous issues. Staff very smart and attentive. Well done.

Have order from here a ton of times but never again claimed to have delivered our order but never arrived spent 30 minutes advising they had called us Ended up waiting 2 hours from delivery then having to travel to the restaurant to show them the call log prooving that no call had been received No one cared and the service in house was blame everyone else and lie horrific

Absolutely amazing, attentive and very professional. Came as a family and they gave us all exactly what we requested if not better. I have intolerances and they made the perfect curry to fit my needs. Mu daughter said it was the best curry ever, and the staff were so lovely with her .

very disappointed in this meal, ordered 3 mains and 2 sides and all of them were flavourless apart from 1 dish which was still not too good. the price we paid for such bland food was ridiculous, i have no idea why this place has good reviews because it’s a terrible restaurant.

Aramintas has always been good , but this is first time we have ordered since they located to Northampton . The food was fantastic and delivered quickly.

Really good meal on Wednesday banquet night. Lovely freshly cooked meals and excellent service. Very well looked after and brilliant value on the banquet night. Very much to be recommended.

Nice staff. However asked for green chillies in my Tawa dish but my request was not met unfortunately. The tawa lamb itself lacked flavour. I'm sure it is to others tastes but it wasn't mine.

The food flavour was lovely however there were 6 in our group and all the meals were Luke warm and potatoes in some of the dishes were not cooked and were rock hard. The food was served on cold plates and dishes. It’s the first Indian restaurant that we have been in that didn’t provide heated platters to keep the food hot. The service was very poor, drinks orders were taken and forgotten, one lot of drinks order was taken 4 times!! Sorry Aramintas we have used you as a takeaway for many years both in wootton and yardley but the restaurant needs work. We did tell the young man that served us about our food but it fell on deaf ears.

Food was great but had a bad tummy for a few days..

Awful service my daughter and myself both spoke to this place about ordering food on Christmas day. Was informed no issue and to order on the day. Was horrified to be informed on the day they could no longer help. Hugely disappointing
