Lovely meal of starter, mixed grill main and desert. The traditional lemon and mint drinks were gorgeous … Highly recommend !!!

Loved the service waitress was very knowledgeable friendly efficient... The food wasn't as tasty as expected. Starters we good my meal was a lot of rice now I know what it's served like I would have got a salad to share. Same with the gyros lots of meat could have come with a salad will visit again we loved the staff.

Love this restaurant, a real gem! The food is superb every time I eat there. Especially the lentil soup and the Egyptian moussaka with rice and the Greek salad are super nice... 😊

We came for Mother's Day and it was wonderful from start to finish. The staff were very polite and attentive and recommended dishes for us. We brought our 2 year old and they were very good with her. The food was absolutely delicious and such good value. A hidden gem in Yarm and would definitely recommend.

Had a takeaway from here last night and food was great, well wrapped so stayed warm and great choice on menu at good price. The Chicken Souvlaki was particularly good. Will definitely be back again. Thank you

First time visiting . Sat over an hour waiting for starters only to be told problem with computer and been lost in system so can we take starters and mains together. Considering only us and 7 people in restaurant find this hard to believe. Food was nice after all of this . Asked for bill cash placed on plate. Left quietly only to be followed down street saying you haven’t paid , how about check the table first . Won’t be visiting again!!

Have been a number of times now and honestly the place just gets better and better. Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere and amazing food. I have a very fussy boy who hates anything but McDonald’s - but loves it here! I would say the lunchtime menu is amazing value for money.

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at Arabian Nights while visiting Yarm. Decor & atmosphere was nice, and range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks was good (house lemonade was great). The menu is varied and the food was excellent, presented nicely, and clearly authentic and fresh.

Visited Christmas Eve for the lunch menu, the food and ambience were wonderful. Chicken Souvlaki was presented superbly and the whole meal was fairly priced, good portions too. Garlic sauce was incredibly tasty. My partner had the Koshary and Lokmat Al-Kadi for dessert which he was impressed with. Friendly and efficient service from the waitresses. Great addition to Yarm High St. We will be back!

Restaurant was cold, had to keep coat on and nearly empty which should have been a warning sign. Food was cold and not as described on the menu. I think some of it had come out of tins rather than being made on the premises.

Lovely restaurant with a very warm welcome. If you have been to Greece or Turkey the menu will be very familiar. Everything we ordered was delicious. The meat was succulent and tasty and the sides were delicious. We have booked to go back

Visited December 2023 with partner & friends. There is ample parking behind the restuarant in the new public car park. Arabian Nights has a good selection of dishes with plenty of meat and vegetarian options. Restaurant itself was compact, well decorated and clean and all prices were reasonable. More importantly the food was good. No photos of the meals and some only had basic descriptions but it's nice to try something new. Starters are a good size and tasty. Mains were also a good size so don't worry about going hungry! I had the whole butterfly Egyptian chicken which was basically a bbq grilled chicken but it was one of the nicest I've had. It was smoky, crispy and still very moist. Apparently the same food can be ordered online for gome delivery too which we will definitely also try. We were skeptical as this venue has changed hands regularly over the years but the current owners are the best so far and I hope the restaurant stays as its a welcome addition to Yarm.

This was our first visit to Yarm's newest restaurant and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is quite small and intimate with a very pleasant ambiance. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The menu is an interesting mixture of Greek and Egyptian dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the highlights of which, interestingly were both vegan (although we are not ourselves vegans): the felafel starters and a vegan 'moussaka' mains. We are looking forward to our next visit - one of the very tempting meat dishes for one of us, we think.

Been to many Indian restaurants and having Indian parents, this is actually a Bangladeshi style restaurant. Food was poor quality especially the vegetarian to the point it was clear that they have zero understanding of how to cook good vegetarian dishes which the continent is famous for. The Tarka daal had big chunk to garlic. The okra dish, the aloo dish were drowning in an oil and onions and tasted the same. The okra was mushy and overcooked. Okra doesn’t have onions as little oil. The aloo was overcooked and again bagged in oil and pretty miserable. Rice dishes were too small and the vindaloo had undercooked spices and too many spices in comparison to the light but hot vindaloo done in better places. They need a new chef. One of the waiters was eating his dinner stood up in the corner at the back of the restaurant with his hands only to go on to serve us. Poppadums were stale and had been sat out and again greasy. The interior decor is musty, toilets poor and very tired and miserable.
