Delicious Seabass, very fresh and succulent. Unusual to have it with bread and chips but it somehow works.

The greeting by Parisa (we later discovered it was her first night) was lovely and welcoming. Boris, who was training Parisa was a great mentor and excellent server, thank you both for a lovely experience. The food was delicious and fabulous value. Absolutely exceptional experience at Aqua Pod Seafood Restaurant in Liverpool! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, welcoming, and flawlessly attentive. A special shoutout to Boris, our waiter, who was incredibly professional, friendly, and made us feel truly looked after throughout our visit. Paris, our waitress, was also fantastic. The Chef went above and beyond to cater to our group’s dietary requirements, especially those with allergies, and the entire kitchen staff deserve major praise. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. We’ll absolutely be back and definitely recommend Aqua Pod as a must visit.

Absolutely enjoyed my evening here, the chef, and staff are very friendly and kind. They tailored to our allergies. The food was well seasoned and tasted amazing. This is a place I come to every time I’m in Liverpool. The lobster here is really good, but I wasn’t very hungry today, so I didn’t order it. The food you see, plus 2 beer and 2 Prosecco, was only £57 — you definitely won’t find prices like that in London!”

This restaurant is tucked away on a quiet pedestrian street in downtown Liverpool. The reviews we read mentioned excellent food and service, and it certainly lived up to the hype. We ordered the fish and chips, pea risotto, and sautéed green vegetables—everything was absolutely delicious! The menu was surprisingly extensive. The risotto had just the right consistency with fresh peas mixed in, the vegetables were perfectly crisp, and the fish and chips were outstanding. The portions were quite generous, especially the fish and chips (definitely enough for two to share). We paired our meal with a light Rioja, which complemented the food beautifully. The service was top-notch, and we loved the restaurant’s ambiance, with soft jazz playing in the background. Overall, a five-star experience at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Great food!! Ordered the seafood risotto, chicken and mushroom linguine, seafood platter for 2 and lamb chops. Everything was so tasty and the staff were friendly. Definitely will be coming back for more food. Highly recommend the risotto, linguine, prawns, muscle and lamb chops !!!

I ordered the Caribbean pineapple and prawn curry, it was flavourful, lots of it and worth the £16.95. My friend had fish burger in panko with huge chunky chips these were delicious too. Service was amazing, fast and efficient too. Very friendly staff, one fella we nicked named him Superman. Paid and given £5 tip each for all staff from waiters to the pot washer.xx

The food was absolutely tasty ,been there twice and which time i enjoyed more :) Mentioning the stuff was super cool and kind and i have to shout out of Donia (Iranian waitress) she was so welcoming and smiling. Well done !!!!

My son and I decided to visit Aquapod on Saturday night for a seafood platter. The restaurant was fairly busy so we ordered a beer and some prawn crackers to tide us over. The prawn crackers took 30 minutes to be served which is ridiculous. We waited over an hour and a half for our seafood platter to be served by which point it was mostly cold (the sea bass was still lukewarm, so presumably the last thing to be cooked). The corn on the cob was completely overcooked and I was very disappointed with the service. The staff I think were inexperienced and seemed to be floating around waiting for the kitchen. A chef worth his salt should be able to time the food so that it arrives hot to the table and it shouldn't have taken so long to arrive. We mentioned that the food was cold to the waitress and she apologised, but we were offered no discount on our bill or a free drink, which would have alleviated the situation. After leaving, the manager came outside to ask how our meal was and I said I was disappointed. He offered me a discount on our next meal (!) to which I replied that I won't be eating there again. A real shame, as we had been looking forward to the food and had high hopes that is was going to be good. Avoid.

Popped in for lunch and had three courses from a lunchtime special menu. Food was lovely and great value for money for both quality and portion size. Would have paid twice as much and would still have been pleased with the value.

We ordered the seafood sharing platter for two, and it was easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Everything was delicious. The mussels were perfectly cooked. I’ll definitely be returning! However, we weren’t offered gloves which would have been nice.

Overcooked seafood platter, poor wines, and dismal service. Worst £60 I've spent in Liverpool. Despite the restaurant's claims, the seafood platter was undeniably overcooked, leaving it dry and rubbery. Regardless of how many people shared it, the quality did not justify the price. The wines, while supposedly sourced from reputable suppliers, were disappointing in taste—a key detail that no supplier's name can change. As for the service, brief check-ins are no substitute for genuine attentiveness. Being asked if "everything is fine" does not resolve the clear issues with the food and drink. Lastly, mentioning CCTV footage and condiments feels unnecessarily defensive and does nothing to address the poor dining experience. Rather than deflecting blame, focusing on improving the food and service would be a better approach. I expected better and left feeling thoroughly dissatisfied.

Fantastic all round beautiful. Came for my 50th birthday. Only negative which isn't a big one we sat by the door and it could do with a glass screen up as it was cold every time the door opened but apart from that could not fault it

I visited Aquapod Seafood Restaurant, and while the atmosphere was great and the ambiance was enjoyable, I felt the overall experience could have been better. I started with prawn crackers, which were light and crispy. For the mains, I had the Teriyaki Salmon Steak and Lamb Chops. The flavors were nice, but the salmon could have been more tender, and the lamb chops were slightly overcooked. I also ordered a glass of beer and cranberry juice, which were fine. However, the service was just okay—not as attentive as I expected. One major downside was the price. The food seemed quite expensive for the portion size and overall quality. While the place has a nice vibe, I think it could offer better value for money.

Starters were nice, coffee was good, lady who served us was lovely, the problem I ordered carrabean mango chicken curry and coconut rice what I got was what looked and tasted like uncle Ben's Mexican rice with chicken in a uncle Ben's sauce... my guest received frozen/oven chips dry with a birds eye battered fish fillet and hard peas .. very disappointed 😞

Wonderful restaurant with friendly staff and well cooked food. We loved the risotto and the curry and the seared tuna and the seafood pasta were good too. All in all a great place for a nice fish meal when you are in Liverpool.

We had a seafood platter on our first visit, it was Fabulous, everything cooked to perfection, lovely staff and great atmosphere. We ènjoyed it so much we went back the week after. I had the Monkfish, delicious, my partner had the seabass again delicious. Planning another visit next week. This restaurant is the best fish restaurant in Liverpool.

My favorite restaurant for nice occasions. The food is delicious, well cooked and seasoned. The lobster platter for 2 is amazing.The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is so cozy but feels luxurious with the fish tank window, decor and service. Can't wait to go again.

Great quality food and good value for money

The menu is exetensive and varied, and the quality of the food is excellent. It has an emphasis on customer service and comfort. Staff were very obliging, going out of their way to ensure that we had everything the way we wanted.

Everything is amazing about this place, i just have a few suggestions such as having the option to offer steamed veg with the mains... Otherwise great staff and atmosphere. The oysters were fantastic!!

Talking about the Oysters they were Delicous but cant say would recommend it ( I think they had Vibrio bacteria , you can google it whats happens after day or two when you eat raw oysters) that happens to me so.. NO MORE OYSTERS FOR ME... beside that we had amazing evening

Been here a couple of times and the food was amazing. Went this evening and ordered the fish and chips. It was very disappointing. The chips were take away fries . The mushy peas were garden peas slightly mashed.. The quality has dropped the price remains the same. . I complained and was offered a desert. I wanted a decent meal not ice cream. We won’t be going back.

Went in with my partner for some food, we opted for the lunch menu. Food was tasty, can't find any fault. The fish was so crispy and delicious. Had to take the dessert home as we were really full. Sama was really nice and polite, and the first server that took our order was also nice.

came with my partner, i got the chorizo and prawn and it was delicious however my partners fish and chips really lacked quality. a really long wait time for not that great food? my food was great but his was really dull. a nice vibe in general in here though and over people’s foods looked great tbh.

This was our first visit but won't be the last. Lovely food and big portions-humous starter was really tasty and we actually brought some back with us, there was so much. We both ordered fish dishes tuna ( which I preferred more cooked but that's my choice and the waitress sorted it out very quickly and sea bass which my husband loved. Really delicious and the restaurant looked really inviting and attractive. really good staff no complaints at all .Thankyou for a lovely meal on New Years Eve

We visited Aquapod on Bold Street for a family meal celebrating 4 Birthdays. The staff are so attentive & welcoming. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with chilled piano music playing. As a family it's hard to cater for everybody's tastes but this menu has something for everyone, seafood, chicken, steak & curries. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and would recommend this restaurant to anybody. Great value and very fresh & tasty! A lovely member of staff (looked like a manager) asked if we had any special occasion on our visit, I mentioned the 4 birthdays to which he arranged 4 huge cheesecakes with sparkler flame candles to be brought over to the table and Happy birthday music playing. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Thank you, you made our night!

Popped in for a lunch a few weeks ago, myself and my wife shared the seafood platter for two, fantastic selection of hot seafood, with veg, wedges and dips. Well cooked and tasty. We had a house red and glass of beer with it. Reasonable price and excellent service. Was perfect for a Saturday afternoon relaxing lunch.

Had a meal for my boyfriend’s birthday we ordered the lobster seafood platter! Very fresh and full of flavour. Be mindful is takes a good 30mins to prepare but totally worth the wait! The birthday cake and singing from the restaurant put a lovely end to the night!

This is a great spot to hangout with friends, the staffs are amazing, especially Sama… so gorgeous and kind. She took group photos of me and my friends and didn’t complain when we asked for more. I will definitely be coming back. The aura of the environment is peaceful. I can’t compliment this place enough.

Myself and my husband had dinner here last night and it was just lovely. Service was good, great atmosphere and fabulous food. The portion sizes were perfect; we shared starters of prawn gyozas then we each had a linguine dish, which were so tasty. Good value for money too. We’re not local but we will definitely eat here gain the next time we visit Liverpool.
