Very tasty food and good design of the restaurant Highly recommend to visit

Overcooked seafood platter, poor wines, and dismal service. Worst £60 I've spent in Liverpool. Despite the restaurant's claims, the seafood platter was undeniably overcooked, leaving it dry and rubbery. Regardless of how many people shared it, the quality did not justify the price. The wines, while supposedly sourced from reputable suppliers, were disappointing in taste—a key detail that no supplier's name can change. As for the service, brief check-ins are no substitute for genuine attentiveness. Being asked if "everything is fine" does not resolve the clear issues with the food and drink. Lastly, mentioning CCTV footage and condiments feels unnecessarily defensive and does nothing to address the poor dining experience. Rather than deflecting blame, focusing on improving the food and service would be a better approach. I expected better and left feeling thoroughly dissatisfied.

Ordered the seafood sharing platter. Didn't have to wait long, drinks are lovely, throughly enjoyed the meal

Fantastic all round beautiful. Came for my 50th birthday. Only negative which isn't a big one we sat by the door and it could do with a glass screen up as it was cold every time the door opened but apart from that could not fault it

I visited Aquapod Seafood Restaurant, and while the atmosphere was great and the ambiance was enjoyable, I felt the overall experience could have been better. I started with prawn crackers, which were light and crispy. For the mains, I had the Teriyaki Salmon Steak and Lamb Chops. The flavors were nice, but the salmon could have been more tender, and the lamb chops were slightly overcooked. I also ordered a glass of beer and cranberry juice, which were fine. However, the service was just okay—not as attentive as I expected. One major downside was the price. The food seemed quite expensive for the portion size and overall quality. While the place has a nice vibe, I think it could offer better value for money.

Starters were nice, coffee was good, lady who served us was lovely, the problem I ordered carrabean mango chicken curry and coconut rice what I got was what looked and tasted like uncle Ben's Mexican rice with chicken in a uncle Ben's sauce... my guest received frozen/oven chips dry with a birds eye battered fish fillet and hard peas .. very disappointed 😞

Wonderful restaurant with friendly staff and well cooked food. We loved the risotto and the curry and the seared tuna and the seafood pasta were good too. All in all a great place for a nice fish meal when you are in Liverpool.

My favorite restaurant for nice occasions. The food is delicious, well cooked and seasoned. The lobster platter for 2 is amazing.The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is so cozy but feels luxurious with the fish tank window, decor and service. Can't wait to go again.

We had a seafood platter on our first visit, it was Fabulous, everything cooked to perfection, lovely staff and great atmosphere. We ènjoyed it so much we went back the week after. I had the Monkfish, delicious, my partner had the seabass again delicious. Planning another visit next week. This restaurant is the best fish restaurant in Liverpool.

Great quality food and good value for money

The menu is exetensive and varied, and the quality of the food is excellent. It has an emphasis on customer service and comfort. Staff were very obliging, going out of their way to ensure that we had everything the way we wanted.

Everything is amazing about this place, i just have a few suggestions such as having the option to offer steamed veg with the mains... Otherwise great staff and atmosphere. The oysters were fantastic!!

Really amazing food sea food was unreal!!! Staff is great ! Always ready to help. Sea food plater was full of delicous sea food, Lobster plate as well really full and taste amazing. Talking about the Oysters they were Delicous but cant say would recommend it ( I think they had Vibrio bacteria , you can google it whats happens after day or two when you eat raw oysters) that happens to me so.. NO MORE OYSTERS FOR ME... beside that we had amazing evening

Been here a couple of times and the food was amazing. Went this evening and ordered the fish and chips. It was very disappointing. The chips were take away fries . The mushy peas were garden peas slightly mashed.. The quality has dropped the price remains the same. . I complained and was offered a desert. I wanted a decent meal not ice cream. We won’t be going back.

Went in with my partner for some food, we opted for the lunch menu. Food was tasty, can't find any fault. The fish was so crispy and delicious. Had to take the dessert home as we were really full. Sama was really nice and polite, and the first server that took our order was also nice.

Fantastic food, the venue has a great ambience in a superb location in Bold Street. The staff are super attentive also.

Really lovely breakfast and kind , professional staff. Looking forward to trying this place for tea. I bet its lovely.

came with my partner, i got the chorizo and prawn and it was delicious however my partners fish and chips really lacked quality. a really long wait time for not that great food? my food was great but his was really dull. a nice vibe in general in here though and over people’s foods looked great tbh.

We had seafood platter which was massive! Everything was perfectly cooked, served very warm. The service was amazing.

Had a great lunch today. Myself and daughter shared a seafood platter and thoroughly enjoyed it. Credit to the chefs. All the platter was well cooked and tasty , and the calamari was the best I have eaten in a very long time. The front of house staff were friendly and accommodating, and provided a great service.

Superb food, great service and really good value for money

This was our first visit but won't be the last. Lovely food and big portions-humous starter was really tasty and we actually brought some back with us, there was so much. We both ordered fish dishes tuna ( which I preferred more cooked but that's my choice and the waitress sorted it out very quickly and sea bass which my husband loved. Really delicious and the restaurant looked really inviting and attractive. really good staff no complaints at all .Thankyou for a lovely meal on New Years Eve

Very friendly and helpful staff, food is wonderful. we had Salmon Teriyaki and Sea Bream with wine and it was very enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Took very long and they got our order wrong don't waste your money and time I also think they should although the food is mid.

Great food came for my birthday and after my main (mushroom risotto) they brought me out a birthday cake with an amazing candle on it . Would definitely recommend !

We visited Aquapod on Bold Street for a family meal celebrating 4 Birthdays. The staff are so attentive & welcoming. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with chilled piano music playing. As a family it's hard to cater for everybody's tastes but this menu has something for everyone, seafood, chicken, steak & curries. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and would recommend this restaurant to anybody. Great value and very fresh & tasty! A lovely member of staff (looked like a manager) asked if we had any special occasion on our visit, I mentioned the 4 birthdays to which he arranged 4 huge cheesecakes with sparkler flame candles to be brought over to the table and Happy birthday music playing. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Thank you, you made our night!

Popped in for a lunch a few weeks ago, myself and my wife shared the seafood platter for two, fantastic selection of hot seafood, with veg, wedges and dips. Well cooked and tasty. We had a house red and glass of beer with it. Reasonable price and excellent service. Was perfect for a Saturday afternoon relaxing lunch.

Had a meal for my boyfriend’s birthday we ordered the lobster seafood platter! Very fresh and full of flavour. Be mindful is takes a good 30mins to prepare but totally worth the wait! The birthday cake and singing from the restaurant put a lovely end to the night!

This is a great spot to hangout with friends, the staffs are amazing, especially Sama… so gorgeous and kind. She took group photos of me and my friends and didn’t complain when we asked for more. I will definitely be coming back. The aura of the environment is peaceful. I can’t compliment this place enough.

Myself and my husband had dinner here last night and it was just lovely. Service was good, great atmosphere and fabulous food. The portion sizes were perfect; we shared starters of prawn gyozas then we each had a linguine dish, which were so tasty. Good value for money too. We’re not local but we will definitely eat here gain the next time we visit Liverpool.

We visited for a quick dinner during a week day. Once we arrived, we were seated immediately and given menus. Food was delicious and good portions. We all had an amazing time and I will definitely recommend the Aqua pod to any seafood lovers. Highly recommend booking a table to prevent being disappointed.

Booked online night before online.....great hosts right from the start. No oysters when we got there but not to worry. The platter for four was worth it. Even brought out 2 cakes desserts for my wife and sister who's birthday it was. Kids friendly. Will be back again for sure as others want to try it out too.

Walked past this restaurant while visiting Liverpool and was attracted to the aquarium in the front window. Thought we'd give it a try. Food was delicious and well priced. I ordered a glass of wine and didn't like it, but I was quickly given another glass. Excellent visit would highly recommend.

Fantastic breakfast and service! A hidden gem. Defo worth a visit. Full English breakie and a tea or coffee for £10.95! You would struggle to get anything close to this quality and price in town!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing filled with colors of the deep ocean blue with live fish tanks around the windows. I came to eat here in the morning and only the breakfast menu was available, but the chef was kind enough to make some fish and chips(on lunch & all-day menu) for us. Overall the food was amazing and the service was really nice and exceptional, the waiters were so friendly, polite, and kind. Will recommend as one of the best for most visitors or even locals at Liverpool.

Aquapod is a must try for any seafood lovers. A good atmosphere, and the food was top tier. We went for the seafood platter which was perfect to share between two with a range of different seafoods to enjoy. for starters we had scallops, and some sort of mushroom soup not entirely sure on the name but it was so delicious! a bit more on the expensive side but definitely worth it.

Accepts walk ins. Very welcoming staff. Good choice on the menu. I had mussels to start,very tasty. My partner had Coconut Prawns which he thoroughly enjoyed. For mains I had Fish and chips,beautifully cooked. My partner had seafood risotto which had the most lovely creamy sauce. We didn't have space for a dessert sadly. Service and customer care is excellent in this restaurant

We had a fantastic dinner at Aquapod. The service was second to none throughout. The range of our starters, which included spicy chicken, homous, and scallops were all excellent. Everyone (all 8 of us ) enjoyed our main courses. The teryaki salmon steak was perfect. We would also recommend the whole sea bass and bass fillets too. The food presentation was great, as was the accompanying wine. All in all, it was very good value for money, a very enjoyable evening, and definitely recommended!

This is our second time dining here and yet again they didn’t disappoint. We had the lobster 🦞 sharing platter as previously enjoyed it so much. Everything is cooked to perfection and so tasty. The staff are very attentive and don’t make you feel rushed. It was busy and we still received fantastic service. Great atmosphere with a large fish tank at the front. Very clean restaurant and restrooms. Highly recommend if you love your seafood 🍤

Perfect food and service, the lobster platter is amazing value and top quality. Staff are brilliant and even offered us an umbrella as it started raining as we were leaving.

There's this urban legend that says that you can be carried away to another dimension when walking around Bold St, Liverpool. Well, I found that door. It leads to Aquapod Seafood Restaurant. I've been there 4 times, I met the most kind staff that I could ever wait for, a top cuisine that is hard to match in my experience. A totally must do, and when you do, you will do it again. Please, do yourself a favor and order the garlic king prawns with crostini. This restaurant is the longing I'm taking from Liverpool.

My first time with my family in this restaurant and everything was amazing!!! Food and drinks so delicious, we orded for starters Basil king prawn and calamari and for main course sirloin steak, beef burger and monk fish moqueca. Very friendly staff. We will be back soon. Friendly and efficient service. Restaurant was immaculate, comfortable, airy and welcoming. Great tasting BLT sandwich with quality ingredients and lush smoothie. If the breakfast is anything to go by then the seafood will be very good too! Don’t be intimidated my the beautifully set tables and decor - we were welcomed and made to feel very comfortable here. Well done all at Aquapod!

This was the second time me visiting this restaurant and it never failed me always a has great service from the staff restaurant clean and pristine always service with a smile even Pea Risotto mmmm delicious again. I took along my sister and it was the first time visiting she was amazed about the place how beautiful it is and the service. I treated us to a virgin Pina colada

all I can say is absolutely wow this restaurant is amazing, we got the sharing grilled lobster platter for 2, and it was so worth the price we both were stuffed after it, food quality is excellent

Visited here from London on Sunday evening for my partners birthday as he is a seafood lover and this place did not disappoint. Service was great felt like they couldn't do enough to ensure our experience was an enjoyable one. We ordered the mixed seafood platter for 2 and it was delicious, the grilled crab was very flavoursome. I dont usually eat mussles or clams but i tried them here and enjoyed them. The chimiuri sauce was mouthwatering and the creamy butter sauce was lovely too. All the seafood on the platter was cooked perfectly, and we had no issues. I had booked ahead and mentioned in the booking it was for a birthday and they helped end the night with a lovely dessert, sparklers and a birthday song! When I return to Liverpool I would definitely return and I would definitely recommend seafood lovers to give this place a try. I saw someone else's fish and chips which looked lovely aswell, and even if you don't like seafood they do have other options available I'm sure it would be possible to find something that you could enjoy just as much as we did!

First time and will definitely go back again. Wonderful staff and service and brilliant food to go with it. Our meal was around £40 a head and that was with two drinks, a starter and a main course. Calamari & the king prawn curry was lush
